Has anyone else noticed when you open facebook and flick right to go through your news feed that some audio/video automatically plays on some peoples posts until you swipe on to the next. I am not double clicking into their post or anything, just flicking through in the main news feed. Is there a way to get rid of this? You can't listen to voice over read while audio automatically plays when you arrive on it. It's maddening.

I recently updated to iOS 18, and whenever I play a video in the Photos app, I find that the video continuously loops. I’ve looked through the video settings as well as the on screen controls, and I cannot find any way to stop this behavior. I don’t want the video to play repeatedly. Is there a solution? Thank you

Hello. I would like to know where I can find my videos I have on my Facebook. I guess I could look somewhere but I don’t find it. Is this among the photos? That will make it fun to find. I see nothing on Facebook where it says videos but I know it is possible to find them but I don’t know where.
Edit: I don’t talk about live videos.

I updated to iOS 11 on my iPhone SE yesterday. Today I checked Cover Sheet just to see what it was all about. Ever since that time, when I unlock my phone and end up on the lock screen, there is a View Notifications button before the Press Home to Open button. There are no older notifications to view since I have seen them all, and this is reported to me each time I press the view notifications button. I would like to make this useless button disappear. It is not present on any of my other iOS 11 devices and was not present on this SE before I used Cover Sheet. Any help would be lovely.

I’m experiencing a bug with the Facebook app and I’m wondering if anyone else on here has experienced it too. I’m thinking about trying a workaround.
I’m running the latest version of the Facebook app on the latest version of iPadOS on an iPad seven. The bug is, that when I go to click on the view post button for a post that I shared to my page from a group, that button does not work with voiceover. Once voiceover is deactivated, the button works.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I’m getting ready to report the bug in the hopes that it gets fixed.

I'm trying to find an app that will allow me to read, and possibly edit, multi-line notes on my iPhone.
The problem is that all the apps I've tried group all the text into one single "spoken" block, and so it is not possible to read the text line-by-line; instead they read *all* the text in one swipe.
The apps I've tried include the built-in Notes app, DropText, DropBox, SimpleNote, PlainText, Notesy and probably some others I've forgotten.
yes, it would be possible to read the text word-by-word but that's not really a very satisfactory method.

How does one view a person's focus status in the Messages app on iOS 15? I talked to a sighted person, who said that an icon shows up for them in the conversations view when focus status is on for a recipient, but I see no equivalent for VoiceOver users. Have I missed something?

Hello everyone,. I was listening to a recent podcast demonstrating how to share lyrics and audio clips in Apple music. The thing is, i just can't figure out why my phone isn't letting me view full song lyrics, so i can then go ahead and share them. As demonstrated, voiceover also tells me the lyrics button in the now playing screen is selected, but nowhere will it read me the lyrics. There is a "view full lyrics" option in the more screen which i tried double-tapping, but to no avail; still no lyrics. Just wondering if anyone might have any suggestions what i might try?

I needed some information in a text message which was sent two or so months ago. Unfortunately, when I tried looking in my messages app, it only showed message history to September 30, and I cannot figure out how to show older messages. Anyone know how this is done? This is under the current build of IOS.

Is there any accessible app where one can accessibly view and edit Microsoft Word documents on the iPhone? Would Voice Dream Writer do this?
I currently use OneDrive to store my MS Word documents and would like to be able to make changes on my phone as well as on my PC.

Has anyone ever tried recording video using Vimeo? How is it in terms of accessibility? Can one easily edit videos? Can one post them to Twitter/Facebook/etc.? Does the person watching them also have to have a Vimeo account?

Hello all. i posted awhile back, my BOFA visa card was deleted from apple pay. i don't know when this started happening. i added it back, it got deleted. Three times I did, until i removed the card in iTunes, then added it into the wallet, then back into iTunes. So why the hell has it been deleted yet again? If I go to BOFA they'll blame Apple, chances are Apple has no idea what's going on. I googled this, I guess apple removed cards if you sign out of iCloud, but I didn't do that. Ugh, I just don't know. So if anyone else has any ideas, please let me know.

Hi all. I posted a week or so ago, but this happened again. My virtual card was removed from Apple Pay without me even doing anything. I did the following steps this morning.
1. Removed Itunes payment method.
2. Looked, the "Wallet" never had my details on file.
3. Added the payment method to the wallet first.
4. Eventually added the method back to ITunes using the Mac. The phone was cranky, I don't think I gave it coffee yet. ;)

Hello, I’m looking for a virtual pet and virtual baby caring games. I do play the Baby Adopter games, but I’m looking for more games! As for virtual pets, I used to have the Hatchie game, but it looks like that one has been removed from the App Store? I can’t find it and I can’t seem to find it in my purchase history list either. I also still have both of the my baby Sim Games which unfortunately, are no longer available in the App Store
