I am using Pages on an iPhone 4S with Voiceover. When I load a WORD document into the application, Voiceover seems to indicate that successive pages, in the document, are side by side and I need to swipe right to move from page to page. The issue is that I may have 2 or 3 pages displayed, which I can navigate fine, however, where my document is lengthy, I have trouble navigating to later pages, which do not appear to be visible on-screen. Are there any buttons, which are possibly not labelled, for moving to later pages?

Hi all. I'll make this as short as possible. First has anyone used passbook, to successfully scan in barcodes to cards, like walgreens, and cvs, and AAA? Because i'm having a pain in the butt time trying to do it. if nyone is willing, would you create a podcast? second, i've sent a message to the developers of guided photo pro, since they haven't updated it since it's release, and, it won't work with IOs seven. I was a little bummed about this. i'll let you know what i hear back.

TOday i created my personal voice on Ios, and need to use it to produce audio books, is it possible? i know that we can use it on facetime or phone call, do not know how, but tell me please.
is there another way to use this voice to get output audio files?

I am running iOS 13.6.
Today I called a phone number with an automated response system. When I took the phone away from my ear to hear the menu items that were presented, the audio call started using the speaker (as expected) but VoiceOver was still very, very quiet as if I had the phone near my ear. Thus it was impossible to hear VoiceOver speaking the digits over the menu items being announced as I moved my finger around and/or flicked left and right to find the digit I wanted to activate on the phone's keypad.

I have the newest version of Seeing AI. I am having a hard time finding the product recognition function. The help says double tap and hold on the Seeing AI icon on the home screen to bring up THE shortcuts. I have product selected as one of my home screen shortcuts. I cannot find the seeing AI icon, or for that matter the home screen. Any help. I must be missing something.

Good afternoon everyone. I hope everyone is doing well. I was wanting to start messing around with a Shortcuts app, and have listened to some of the podcasts that have been produced for shortcuts, I’m having some issues making shortcuts even work for me. for instance, I downloaded one to just play a playlist, I got it from the gallery and it worked fine. But I wanted to make some modifications to it. For instance, I wanted to be able to instead of simply just play the playlist, make it actually shuffle the playlist. And I’d like to start learning how to create some shortcuts on my own.

I'm new to Applevis and figured this would be the best place to ask this question. My wife and I both have an iPhone 4s with iOS 7.0.3. Often times, of late, when using SIRI to send a text message, voiceover will interrupt or there will be no response from SIRI. Any ideas of what might be the problem?

I have a new Iphone 8 running the latest IOS. I am wondering if I can use the new Siri voice for the voiceover voice? If so, how Do I go about it? Thanks.
P.S. I would like to use the Siri voice because the default voiceover voice sounds muffled. It was sounding fine for the first few hours I had the phone and then it changed. I don't know what happened to change the voice.

I am a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist. I have an iPhone 16 that I use with students. I should (I believe) be able to use Siri to get exact address to the question "Where am I?" Instead, it gives me my city and state only. This is a great feature for students who are blind or low vision and need extra help with orientation or to confirm their location. If anyone has any suggestions as to how I can get Siri to give me an exact address when asked, I would truly appreciate it! I do have my location turned on. Thank you in advance!

Has anyone had success using Siri on the locked screen to reply to group text messages?
Ever since updating to iOS 12, when I get a message on the locked screen and ask Siri to "reply to text", Siri asks "To whom do you want to reply?" and expects me to enumerate each person to whom the original group message was sent. I have tried saying things like "reply to group", "reply to everyone", "reply all", etc., but Siri still wants me to enumerate each recipient.

I have a question for you all regarding anyone who has a siri voice as their default VoiceOver voice and what your experience was like when you updated to 18.1, or even iOs 18.
I saw another post on a social media platform where someone updated to iOS 18.1 and had VoiceOver shut off when the update was complete and they had to have assistance entering their passcode. This happened to me a long time ago, so I remember the struggle and frustration.

Hello. I have a question for those who use new Apple-made Siri voices with VoiceOver on Mac or iOS device. Do you find these voices far more hard, illegible for listening on a high speed (seventy percents and higher)? I'm a Russian speaker and I definitely do.

I am completely blind, and an new to Skype! I had my account for a while but just started to use it. A problem that did not occur to me until I began using the Skype app was making video calls. Because I have no vision, how do I make sure that the camera focuses on my face without constantly asking the person? Is there a way to do that? Does anyone use video calling? Any tips?

Hi all. New iPhone user here. Only had an iPhone for about 2 months. I'm trying to play King of Dragon Pass but having major trouble with sliders. At one point in the tutorial, it asks you to adjust one of the sliders to 10. It goes up to a few hundred. I know how to swipe up or down with one finger to adjust the slider, but I can't seem to get it where I want it. Is there a way to pick an exact value on a slider, or to adjust it in small increments? I have a Bluetooth keyboard if that will help somehow. Thanks.
