hello friends.
I am considering purchasing an iPhone Pro model, but my main reason is the LiDAR sensor.
I have heard that it can enhance accessibility for the blind, helping with navigation and object detection. However, I want to know if it is truly practical and useful in real-life scenarios.

Hi everyone,
As a psychology major, I am interested in how people can best receive mental health services. I am interested in finding out if anyone has tried either of the largest online therapy apps, BetterHelp or TalkSpace and what their experiences with them were. I would like to make mental health services available to everyone, so I would love some feedback on accessability for my research. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I am not sure if this has been integrated to YouTube app on iPadOS before, but I found recently that you can rewind, forward, increase and decrease and volume and pause the video using the keyboard attached to the iPad. To perform these functions you can use the familiar controls of arrows and the space bar.

How do I do this? I cannot get apps unless I have it. I don’t know how to use it with the App Store. The change happened yesterday right after I had to reset my password, so now I’m asked to put in my code but the screen doesn’t come up where I can put it in. What do I do now? Please help me.

Hello!

How to read the user guide for ios?

I have tried to read the Ios 9 user guide through the Ibooks reader wich is built in ios 9 and through the web but none of these options seems accessible with voiceover.

Earlier the user guide was available in pdf but I can't find user guide for Ios 9 in pdf on Apples web site.

hello friends,
i recently noticed something in the recent call history, and although this may not be a new finding,it is new to me so i thought i'd post it here.
so i was browsing my recent call history recently and while flicking through my recent call history log, i noticed that voiceover announces the person's name/number followed by the phrase "user_label_primary"

was just wondering whaat is meant by user_label_primary?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you very much

Some time ago, Apple released the Journal app. I haven't heard much about it since.

I'm wondering what uses people have found for the Journal app and how they might use it. I'm also wondering how using the Journal app for these situations compares with using the Notes app which seems to be similar to the Journal app.

Anyway, curious to see how either or both of these apps can be used on a routine basis and what benefits people find.

hi all, when i read₦ews articles, in the native ios news app rather than using alternative new sources being as they are all collated in one pllace, why does vo keep jumping as i read articles? so can be reading an article and vo just suddenly jumps and says a button, or something else on-screen. i am irritated via this since sighted people, would surely not see this jumping behaviour. i have not tried this on my ipad mini 4 yet, but will the content i selected in news for the iphone still be relevant on the ipad; would my news preferences have been saved in the cloud?

What is the best way of reading writing and/or editing a .docx, an ms word file, on my iPhone 6S? I already have pages installed on the phone, but I haven't done much with that app since I could not figure out how to spellcheck with it.

Thanks for any advice?

Hello.
I hope this message finds you well.
I've got one physical sim for personal use, and one esim for work.
How can I set it up so that the esim is used during work and the personal sim is used for personal stuff.
Specifically, I'd like the ability to choose diffirent ringtones for both and to select a certain number to use directly when making a call, plus any other advice you can give.
Thanks.

I have a Focus 14 BLUE, one of the newest, and I am wondering if it is usable with IPad. I have it paired already and that worked fine.
I know there are commands for multitasking and I have made a keystroke for how to switch apps.
What I would really need is a nice list of commands on braille display that is specifically for IPad.

Hey everybody,

I have a Hl-2395 Brother printer that has the scanning/copying capability. I'm wondering if there's a fax app that will allow me to use the printer to fax documents?

Many thanks!

Has anyone had difficulty using AccessNote with iOS 7? I've found that the commands for going to the top or bottom of a note don't work, and sometimes pressing the cursor routing buttons on my braille display doesn't yield the expected results. Thanks!

Hi everyone

I’m keen to create a shortcut which allows me to use the action button to take a photo, and then to automatically share that photo with an app which will give me an AI description of the photo. Ideally I’d love to do this with Be My Eyes but the app doesn’t allow for this in shortcuts yet. So I’m wondering if anyone knows of an app which, via shortcuts, will allow me to do this?

Thanks!

Just wondering if anyone knows how to use Alex as your VO voice on iPhone. I was listening to a podcast a while ago, and the person was using Alex as their voice. Obviously, you need to jailbreak, but does anyone know what to do after jailbreaking? I'm just looking for more information in case I decide to do this.

Hi all. I am using the latest iPad and most often type using direct touch typing, or sometimes touch typing. Typically, when I want to enter the special characters of a key, the number row for qwertyuiop, or the question mark as an action of the period key, I have to press on the key for a while, after which point I can swipe down to have the appropriate character entered. I have tried just swiping and pressing the key, but that just enters the original letter.

Hi Guys Okay, so after considering my options, i've decided that education isn't my thing :). So I am looking to get an iPad for browsing and making general notes using the notes app built in. The most i'll probs use it for is taking notes at work when working with clients etc... So I was wondering if anyone can recomend a good bluetooth keyboard, that can be attached to the iPad in one case.
