Okay, so this is driving me totally bonkers!!! VoiceOver has recently started saying "current item" practically everywhere on the Chewy app and "current location" in the same way on the Amazon app, which makes reading anything basically impossible to read all the way through with speech because VO is constantly interrupting itself to say these phrases. I also recently encountered the problem on the web, with a link which I will post in a moment. Before that, though, has anyone else noticed this problem?

I've also noticed this on my apple tv, has anyone noticed since ios 12.1 vo will say portrait when it first comes on or you turn it on? It even does it on my apple tv, does this mean anything?

Has anyone else had Voiceover become unresponsive after ending a phone call?
often after ending a call Voiceover goes silent on me when trying to use the screen, I just hear the VO gesture doink sounds as if I’ve turned speech off. It’s intermittent so has proven difficult to demonstrate for Apple support so I just wondered if anyone else has seen this happen?
It previously happened on a iPhone 12 under IOS 14 and still happens on IOS 15 on a iPhone 13. It resolves if you lock and unlock your screen but having to do that is not always ideal in some situations.

Just wondering if others are experiencing this issue with Voiceover or if something suddently went bad with my iPhohne.
Here is what started happening on my iPhone 6 right after installing the iOS 12.1.1 upgrade. Don't know if this is a coincidence or not.
I notice that when I am reading an article in the Apple News app by using the two finger click down to read continuously, occasionally VoiceOver will suddently move focus to the top of the page on the "Back" button of the article.

Not sure if anyone here uses the qardio app but if you do has anyone noticed vo is very sluggish on the latest version? I've tried restarting my phone. I'm using an IPhone8 running 14.6

Since updating ios14 vo includes all punctuation like . , : ‘ etc. Very difficult to read anything with all punctuation read a loud as well. I have gone to vo punctuation, but it’s not changing when I select none. Suggestions?

One thing I find annoying about ios9 and maybe it's just app specific and not ios itself is I find a lot of the time when I'm typing in a search vo will speak the number of results, for example when I look up someone up on periscope, as I'm typing vo will speak the number of search results everytime I type in a letter. Is there anyway to fix this?

Recently, I have encountered a very annoying bug. After disconnecting from a phone call, Voiceover sometimes speaks through the iPhone earpiece instead of the speaker. Even when I close the phone app and restart VoiceOver, this behaviour persists. I can correct it by restarting the phone. I am running IOS 15.2 on an iPhone 12.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I have been having an issue where VO just stops talking for no apparent reason. If I try turning VO off and on again, it turns off, but won't come back on unless I reboot the phone.
This has been happening quite a lot over the last while. I am using ios 9.2 with an iphone 6.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas about how to avoid it?

Hi, use a keyboard or braille display to navigate my phone 99 percent of the time. I've noticed that Voiceover likes to switch to the actions rotor setting especially if I pause in an email with multiple headings, like a playlist email I receive from a radio station I like, and I have to reset it from actions to headings. But this happens with a lot of other apps, it wants me to drag an image or some such on a google search page and I have to move it back to headings. Is this something that can be changed and I just don't know how to do it?

I’ve noticed that VO sometimes takes a while, up to a couple of minutes, to start reading after using the read all command. It seems to happen most often in Safari, especially with long articles. If I try to interrupt it with another command, I’ll get the VO sounds but no speech, and the only way to fix it is to turn VO off and back on.

Something happened to my phone and VoiceOver is not speaking or responding to gestures. I am considering wiping my phone and restoring from a backup. I have never done this before; are there other options I should consider first? The phone is an SE 2020 version. IOS is up to date and frankly, I cannot find any tech person who has sufficient familiarity with VoiceOver to offer useful guidance to me.

Hello All,
So I updated to IOS 6 on Wednesday. Everything seemed to go well and I had no issues with VO until I used my I Phone cable to hook up to my Windows computer last evening. My premium U.S english voice seemed to change to the crappy compact voice and has now remained with that voice since I hooked up to my computer last evening. I took a look and I do not have the "compact voice" on, VO states it is not on or checked. Is there anyone out there that has experienced this issue?

hi! can anyone help me out? each time i play a music, be it in my player or in youtube, and i try to navigate the active interface, voice over no longer dominates the background sound (which it normally does before). i don't know if it's a bug or if i just messed up with my settings. what can i do about this? thanks.

I am hoping that someone can help me. I need to know how someone who is using voice over get information that is displayed on the visual map? So there can have many points of interest on the map, but Voice Over only reads turn by turn directions.
Maybe my real questions is if a person is looking to travel a route( bus or have someone drive you), how do you learn all of the stores/community location/ around the route?

I use a Bluetooth keyboard with my new iPad Pro. For every app other than Safari, if I press VO+H, I jump to the home screen. Pressing VO+H twice takes me to the app switcher.
However, if Safari is the active app, VO+H takes me to the dictation button, as if Safari thinks I want to dictate a search term or URL address. And if I press VO+H twice, I hear VoiceOver announce “app switcher” just before it announces “dictate”, and again I am not in the app switcher, but on the dictate button instead.
Is anyone experiencing this? Any way to disable this behavior? Thanks.

I have an iPhone 8 with the latest update. I did something today that made VO speak all punctuation. I tried rebooting the phone and changing the punctuation setting in settings. Neither one worked. Help!

I have a question for you all! I became an Auntie to a very wonderful niece!! And like any other Auntie, I'd love to have as many photos as possible!! I have some photos of my beautiful niece and I'd like to be able to identify them!
I seen a reference in another post on here to someone putting labels on their photos so that Vo. can read the label and tell the person what the photo is. I have some questions about that, that I hope someone on here can answer!

Hello. I am looking for an accessible vocal remover for iOs so I can use my music as background. Is there such an app? If I had a laptop I guess I could have used Audacity but I currently don't have a laptop. I am editing sound in Hokusai but need an aditional app to do this. Thanks in advance.
