Hello,
I'm using an iPhone 4S running iOS 6.1. I've noticed a few bugs with voice over, and I was wondering if anyone knows how to get around them.
1. When on a call, the VO volume is very low, so I cannot hear which numbers I am pressing when trying to use an automated menu system.
2. When I receive a picture in an iMessage, after double-tapping on the picture, VO doesn't let me do anything until I close the messaging app from within the app switcher.
3. Sometimes, when replying to an email, VO doesn't read the keyboard.

Hello,
When typing with auto-correct enabled on the iPhone, how do you choose not to use an auto-correct option with voice over? Also, is there a way to disable the click sounds that VO makes?

A couple of V O queries.
Am I right to assume that the voice marked as the "Default" voice in the Language Roter is the premium voice?
And, I understand you can change your premium voice, but I've read and followed Holly's post offering advice on this from April 6th and it doesn't seem to work.
Can anyone shed some light on what I may be doing wrong?

I've mentioned this in a couple threads, but figure it really deserves its own post.
On my iPod Touch 4, 32GB (5GB open) , a reset completely wipes out my VO settings. I like to reset my iPod regularly because it seems to help with performance.
Here's the chain of events.
I use the task switcher to clear out all apps.
I press and hold the lock key until the "swipe to shut down" prompt is heard.
I continue to hold the lock key, and add the home button.
I hold both until I hear the iPod reset.
In iOS 4 and 5, the iPod would reboot.

Hi everyone hope you're doing well and staying safe happy Christmas :-) I've noticed that when I'm reading WhatsApp messages with VoiceOver VoiceOver speaks the number of the person the messages for and says something like screenshot and starts doing image description this behaviour occurs most frequently when scrolling over voice messages with VoiceOver, how do I stop this behaviour from happening? Is anyone else having trouble getting Voice Over to read anything on Twitter pages in safari, ie with Twitter app not installed?
Eg https://mobile.twitter.com/realDonaldTrump?lang=en
I have several ios devices some on ios9 and some on 10.3.2. And all suddenly have same issue.

Is anyone else having problems with Voice Over becoming unintelligibly fast when switching to Airplay, such as to an Airport Express to stream music. I am using a new ipad 6 ios11.2.2. Oddly my wifes ipad Air2 on same ios version does not have this problem. Since updating to IOS 9 my voice over volume goes up or down. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any suggestions on what I can do to fix it?

Good day, I am using a Iphone 6S with Ios 11.03. I made a call to our mobile service provider and found that once connected the voice over volume goes down to almost zero percent. When ending the call the volume returns to where it was before again. So you cannot select options from the keypad. I cannot find a way to turn the voice over volume up. Does anybody know how?

I apologize if this has been asked, but in researching I could not find it. If listening to music for example, how can you, or can you, decrease the music volume while leaving voice over at a higher volume setting? I am familiar with Audio Ducking, but was looking for a consistent volume difference? Thanks for any help!

I managed to accidently turn down the voice over volume and now when I select volume in the rotor the maximum I can get the voice over volume to is 35% meaning everything else is much louder than Voice Over. I've tried a hard reset, turning on and off, doing the power button six times and now I've just tried a full restore from an Icloud backup and it still has the issue. My next step will be to do a full reset using a new iTunes download of IOS7. Anyone have any thoughts. I'll call apple prior to doing the ITunes restore just in case and to make them aware.

Has anyone else experienced the below:
When ending a phone call voice over gets stuck in the mode it is in while on the phone call. You have to make another phone call and then hang up to get it back to the normal mode? Sounds confusing I know.

I have a new iPhone SE. I tried the new voice recognition option, and I have 2 questions:
1- I have a screenshot with a document. the voice recognition announced this but it did not read the text, any idea why?
2- any idea which languages are supported in the text recognition option?

I'm trying to find a voice recorder app that does more than just record and
play back a recording like the "voice recorder" app that came with my Iphone.
I don't want a lot of bells and whistles and don't want to pay a fortune
either.
I just twant to be able to append to an existing recorder, I.d. the recording and if possible organize the recordings. I don't care about performing speech to text so it can send a message or any of that stuff. I jus twant to make sure the app is accessible and works with voice over on my Iphone.

Hi,
I am trying to find an accessible voice recorder to take notes. I have the one that came with my iPhone & it's okay. However I'm looking for something that will be easy to navigate, work well with VoiceOver, allow me to identify recordings with a label and hopefully append (add information) to an existing recording. So far I have been unable to find anything that meets all of these criteria.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

Hi,
I am looking for recommendations for a simple good quality voice recording application for IOS.
In the summer I am getting married and wish to record audio of the cerimony as well as speeches using an IPad.
The WIFI is fairly poor where I am going so I need something which does not require the recordings to be uploaded straight away and will let me listen to them prior to uploading if necessary. I would like to upload them to either my computer or dropbox when I return home.
