Hi there, I updated to the latest IOS 14 last night on my iphone 8 and have noticed that when navigating between apps that there is a slight delay in responsiveness with voice over than before I updated.
iOS and iPadOS
I am having sluggish performance and crashes, paticularly in Safari on my iphone5, ipad4 and ipad mini. As requested by Apple i have sent diagnostic info. I have found slugishness, but not crashes and freezing, can be fixed by not using the enhanced boice which presumably uses less cpu power. Seems to me ios8 and enhanced voice will not run smootthly on older devices like it did with ios7. Anyone else found this?

Here is a letter I wrote to Apple Accessibility and their quick response.
I'm writing you with a very strange problem or at least that's the way it seems to me.
I'm using an iPhone 6S with iOS 9.3.2
I have my notifications and alerts configured to speak with Voice Over even when the screen is locked.
Everything works fine with the phone when I have a belt clip on in this case Mopie's belt clip with an extended Battery.
But, when I use the pouch or holster, I hear only the sound for the alert but not Voice Over reading the alert.
I don't know if this is a bug but it's been happening since IOS13 and continued with all the updates. I was hoping it would stop with the latest update but it hasn't. It happens when I'm listening to a podcast or a book, and it is extremely annoying. I lock the screen and the phone comes on every minute announcing the time, so my only resort is to switch voice over off. Has anyone else had this happen, or is it a bug.
Hi. i noticed something strange. i only wish i could pinpoint when this behavior resurfaced. A few versions of IOS ago, Voice over would take a long time to click off, after it was done speaking. You would only notice this if your ear were next to the speaker, say if it were lying on your pillow. Well in a subsequent version this wait time for lack of a better description was drastically reduced. Until now with IOS13, i noticed that it took i'd say a full two minutes after i stopped interacting with the screen. Let me give you an example.
Hello all:
Iphone 13 pro max here with Ios 17.03,
after upgrading to IOs17, Voce over stopped reading notifications, so, when i got a new notification, i can only here the notification sound, but VOice over do not tell me what is this?
even when my screen is unlocked, so, i should touch the screen and go to the top to see what's happened.
is there a solution for this?
Recently I have had issues that are really werrd. It says an underscore every time I read a letter. It says underscore before each letter and I have to se] type feedbck to words. I write a llot and have a braille display but I like BSI and could have the physical braille display while it does not work.
Recently, Voice Over has stopped saying the word percent. Battery 93 is now spoken rather than battery 93 percent. This happened a long time ago and I don't remember what I did to fix it. I've rebooted the phone and still no good. Its almost like something is covering the screen. I don't know if that's what's causing the problem or not. Any Suggestions?
I decided to try to use a Siri voice on my iPhone 13 pro today. Sometimes, I just get bored of the same old same. I'm however regretting this decision because of a strange issue. More often than not, it's as if voice over reboots, because I hear the voice say "Screen curtain on," which I do have mine on most of the time. Anyone else experiencing this odd behavior?
Does anyone else notice that vo doesn't always make the bong sound to let you know you can't move any further? This may be a hard one to produce because it is intermittent. Restarting vo does fix this. On my way to report my findings to apple.
Hi all,
As the title says, i can not get VO read automatickly other languages, for example Turkish using voice Cem, or Georgian using voice Max.
I added both of those languages in a roater, although still not working.
Am on iOs 16.5. Wonder if i'm doing something wrong, or need to do something else?
Thannks in advance for help.
