Does anyone know why I can not add the focus 40 Braille display to the Iphone SE2?
I can add the focus 14, but not the focus 40.

I am having trouble entering my password in the iTunes Store. I can enter it in other places, but not the iTunes and App store unless I use the onscreen keyboard. That's why I am wondrering how to turn the onscreen keyboard off and on using a Focus 14 blue display. I did do a network reset.

Hi, I'm not able to pair focus14 5th gen braille display with iphone 11 using ios13.2.3. When I tried to pair the display, it said pairing unsuccessful. Braille display is not supported. Does anyone who has focus14 5th gen braille display with iphone 11 have this issue. How can this issue be resolved or perhaps this will be fixed in the next update. Interestingly, focus40 5th gen does work with iphone 11 with ios13.2.3. focus14 does pair with my mac computer.

I purchased a Smart Beetle Braille display and received it yesterday. I love the look and feel of the display, but I am having issues pairing it to my iPhone.
The device paired immediately after I turned it on and went to settings\general\accessibility\voiceover\Braille.

So, you have probably heard of the brown note touch plus, right? If you haven’t, it is a braille device with a braille display, and you can get it with 18 braille cells or 32 rail cells. But, I have a big problem. And I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I got my brown note touch plus at around March or April, and it has had no updates since 2022, and may have not updated their braille drivers. But I was wondering, has iOS 17 and iOS 18 ditched the braille note drivers, because I can’t connect.

Hi everyone, I use my new Braille Display Brailliant BI 40 X. I can't entering my Passward including upper case letters. I use English US Libluies Braille table, 8 dots uncontracted. Someone haveing this issue?

Hi guys, as the title state about, how to capitalize Braille letters I type in? E.g I write my first name with capital in the middle of the sentence?

Hello again, I listened a podcast about a new braille display calles Chameleon 20 sold by APH in the States and manufactured by Humanware and I fall in love with it. A year ago, I bought a Braille NOtetouch plus, but unfortunately is not that I expected, and is not for me, this one, however seems much more useful for me.

I remember that with BRLTTy on Linux, and JAWS on Windows it is possible to change braille stifness on some braille devices including Focus 40 blue new. Can I change the stifness on MacOS?

Hi. Just updated to IOS 13.2. Is there a way to change my default braille table from UEB to grade 2? I managed to add the US English table to my roter and can switch with a 2 finger swipe up from within braille screen input. UEB still seems to be default though, so periodically I'm finding I can't use the contraction in the word periodically without switching braille tables.

Hello there!
I need to type bilingual on iphone using Humanware 20 cell braille display. While there is a rotor settings and quick settings to change the Braille table, I was wondering if there is a quicker way to do this while typing, like a braille command. I do set the rotor to Braille table, but if I happen to navigate out of the edit field and come back to it, I find rotor moved to another setting and end up messing up things. Any input would be of great help. My aim is to use the display without touching the device.

I've looked and looked, and can't find anything. Hoping it's just me and I'm missing something. I do a lot of switching between English and Spanish. When using Braille screen input, a two finger swipe up cycles between the tables you have set up, but I can't find anything to do the same from the display itself, and using the rotor to do it takes forever. I know that one can use dots 1-2-4-5 and space to cycle between contracted and uncontracted, but no quick and easy table switching I think.

Good day. I forgot this command and wonder if anyone knows the command to turn off the iPhone voiceover sounds using a Braille display. I have a refreshabraille 18. I can turn off the speech and used to know the command to turn off the sounds. Thanks.

Hi. I've recently bought an iPhone SE 2020 and I sadly noticed that SBI got somehow worse in the last update. It seems like it's not possible to switch between keyboards moving two fingers upwards, as we did before. Now the gesture triggers the action "Braille table", which is totally useless unless you're using a Braille display. I tried to change the setting in Voiceover's Commands \ BSI. However, Switch between Keyboards is not listet anywhere. Any suggestion/tips?

Is it possible to configure the iPhone such that I am able to have Braille output via a Braille display in a language that VoiceOver does not yet support? If so, how do I do this? Thanks!

When I'm using the Braille onscreen keyboard, dot 4 sometimes results in "dot 4" and sometimes "@". I'm not sure how to produce the @ sign with certainty when I want it. Any suggestions? Thanks.
