I'm very sorry to report that once again we are suffering at the hands of the IBM infrastructure which queues and sends out our push notifications.
They had a critical incident yesterday and to be frank, everything is a bit of a mess.
It's affecting other customers, not just Weather Gods.
The problem is manifesting itself as sending duplicate notifications as well as old notifications - it appears they are holding on to them and then re-sending for good measure!!
For other people, they may not receive any at all.
Hello!
I have a question about weather gods.
I was grandfathered into the premium plan.
Do I also get the extended forecast feature with the premium plan or do i have to buy that separate?
If it's separate is there a way to buy it yearly rather than monthly?
thanks.
Hello, even though I have Weather Gods notifications enabled and the Weather summary is activated and scheduled twice a day, at 7 AM and at 8:30 PM, I don't receive the notifications. All the other notifications work. How can I fix this? Thanks!
Also, a suggestion for the developers: a feature request to activate certain notifications that will follow automatically your location while you're travelling might be useful, instead of turning on and off your notifications for every city you travel to.
Hello everyone, a month ago I reported on the site that the notifications of the Weather Gods app are not working. The developer, Scott, replied that this was a "grandfathering problem". Are there any updates? Will notifications work again soon or not?
Hello everyone, regarding Weather Gods, I'd like a feature that the notifications follow your current location. For example, moving to a different city every day for holiday, it would be useful for notifications to be paused when I leave one city and, the same notifications, be activated when I arrive in another, i.e. without manually pausing the notifications in one city, searching for the other city and activate one or more notifications and then repeat the same process every time city I need.
Hi.
I listened to the podcast about the weather apps and decided to try weather pro.
On my device wich is a iPhone 4 the app crashes direct after tapping on it. First time I get the info screen about changes in this version and I close that with tapping on done.
After that I can't start the app at all.
Anyone else have this problem? Is it only for iPhone 4s maybe?
Regards Tony
It's ashame too, this app was a great app for voiceover users. I see there hasn't been an update in 2 years. I can still get the weather conditions but the alerts no longer work nor can they be configured because you get a time out error with their server. I'm not going to get any in app purchases on this app until they fix it or if they do.
Anyone heard anything regarding this app?
Just stopping by to say we released our 1.0.2 update Tuesday Eve UK time.
The main changes are around notifications, we've spent a lot of time making them more robust and reliable and would love feedback, good or bad with the new update.
I've got some more changes in 1.0.3 for notifications, but that's a 3-4 weeks away.
1.0.2 also includes some haptic feedback on the main screen for iPhone 7 users. Not sure if anyone uses the haptic at all?

Hi! I just got a new iPad Pro, but I am finding navigating websites to be very tedious. I looked at the keyboard shortcuts on Apple’s website that apply to iPads, but there aren’t that many of them. For those of you who have been using iPad for a while, any tips or tricks to be more efficient? Do you use Safari or chrome and why?
Hi all. I'm fairly new to the world of using an I pad and I devices. I tried to look for atomic web after hearing about it in an applevis podcast a while back. I couldn't find that in the app store. Is there any good user guides on getting used to the default web browser on my I pad or are there any browsers out there that feel like Internet Explorer or Firefox please?
I have had a look at Safari but I don't like the feel of it but then again maybe after some learning I might feel a lot different.
VoiceOver's been reading out links on web pages twice for some time now, and this happens in both Safari and third-party browsers. Well, I use Firefox Focus but I already guess that it should happen in every web browser on iOS, at least on my device. Anyone else have this issue?

Hey guys,
I did a test on this app before and it is promising.
Basically they have hired people to read news and they prevent it in audio form.
They are looking for more testers and I was told I could forward the email below. I’ve done a hack job on it to make it make a bit more sense.
Before I get to the email, I've put a demmo in my dropbox which I was asked to share this also.
