Hello everybody and have a great week.
Since update to iOS 14.5 from 13.4, Siri most of the time stops answering mid sentence. I often use Siri to calculate numbers and after the first number it stops. I even changed from American English to British English to see if that would make a difference, but nothing works. I have great connection when I tried it so it's not a matter of wireless connectivity.
Also searched the forum but found nothing relevant for iOS 14
Any help?

I have encountered what appears to be a bug when activating Seri. Occasionally, when I hold down the home button to activate, Seri will start and immediately end. I am using an iPhone 6 running IOS 8.0.2.
The only way I found to fix the bug was to reboot my iPhone.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi! Ever since updating to iOS 11, my Siri voice is stuck in low quality. That is, I believe it was like this on my iPhone 7 after updating too, but then I switched to a new iPhone 8 that of course came preinstalled with iOS 11, so don't take my word for it! :)
Anyway, on my iPhone 8, now running iOS 11.0.3, the Siri voice is still low quality, and it seems like nothing I can think of will fix it.

Hi all, i just installed ios9 to my iphone 5s and wanted to try new spotlights functions, however when i flicked right from the first page i got just spotlight search field and buttons to few recent running apps. No nearby places, no recents contacts, nothing. Anyone having problem with this new spotlight?

A while ago some IOS users complain about the Siri English UK female voice and the pronounciation issue she has when saying: "No unread emails." To many of us it sounds like the poor lassie has the hick ups. The problem was solved after IOS 12.2, but appears again after installing IOS 12.3. Here is what you can do. It works for me and I hope it works for all users who prefer using Siri UK English female:

One of the people whom I support told me that she could no longer use Siri to send email from her iPhone 8 with iOS 14. I tried on my iPhone SE with iOS 15.0 and the response from Siri was "sorry, I can't help with that'. Subsequently, I've had the same response on a phone running iOS 12. If this is a deliberate feature removal, it's certainly a loss to some users with sight loss who find it a convenient way to send a brief email.

Hi all.
I don't know if this has been posted before, but I haven't seen it anywhere and a search had no results. Siri is cutting off in the middle of an swer. Say I asked it which states bordered New Hampshire.
"Here's what I found out from Worldatlas.com, New Hampshire shares a border with mas..."
It doesn't always happen, but it is frequent. Is there something I have to do, or should I report it?

Hi everyone,
Today I upgraded from an iPhone 4 to a 5C, so this is my first device with Siri. I am finding that her voice sounds more like a computer than the high quality one in iOS 7. In other words, it sounds like it did prior to iOS 7. Here's what I've done so far to try to get the high quality voice:
1. Restarted Siri, and
2. Rebooted my phone.
Does anyone have ideas on why I'm getting a computer sounding Siri?

ok, if you tell voice over to read the word, "hmm" (i found it on whats app) siri us english male default, not enhanced, will read it with a slower speed than default. if it only read the "hmm" with slower speeds, that is understandable, but this voice also reads the things that is after the word "hmm" with the slower rate. Sorry for bad english and sorry if offtopic or duplicated. thanks.

I have iOS13 installed and have noticed that I can't use the new natural Siri voice with voiceover. Any tips on how you can use it with voiceover, or is their something wrong? Thanks. I really am looking forward to using this voice.

Since installing iOS 15 and the last two updates to iOS 15, I am noticing that the voice used for Siri keeps switching.
I have always been using the high quality Alex voice both for Voiceover and Siri.
After installing iOS 15, however, every once in a while Siri answers a query with a really unusual female voice that sounds kind of robotic.

Hi folks!
I just updated to iOS 17 despite all the reports I've been reading. So far, so good. VoiceOver never crashed and I'm doing well.
The only question is, my Siri voices are still using the big ones of hundreds of MB. For those who got the new and more expressive voices for VoiceOver, are these of similar sizes? If not, I guess I'll have to delete the current Siri voices and redownload again.
Also, I just looked under the English UK settings and didn't find the 2 new voices.

I am re-posting this because I incorrectly stated the problem in my earlier submission.
Sometimes, especially after a phone call, Siri's voice changes to the earpiece from the speaker making it difficult to hear if you are away from the iPhone. This routing persists even after re-starting VoiceOver. It seems to revert back to going through the speaker after some time. Alternatively, re-starting the phone will fix the problem.
I am using an iPhone 12 running IOS 15.2. I have spoken to somebody else, who uses an iPhone 11, and he is having the same issue.

i was wondering if there was a way to increase the siri voice speech rate,
i know we can increase the speech rate of siri in speak screen and speak selection but i would like to know if there is a way to increase the siri voice speech rate in general.
for instance,
if i ask siri to send an email to mom,
i would like to increase her response rate,
lol i hope i am clear enough in what i actually want,

I am extremely impressed with IOS 11.2. At last I can now use the new Siri US female voice. She is so fast and by far my favourite. Thanks man Apple. Thank You so much. Now this is interesting; When my phone is in it's poutch and notifications appear, only the tones are playing and nothing is beeing read automatically on the lock screen,, but I have no problems with this issue when my phone is out of it's poutch and laying on my desk. Wonders why this happens?

Siri voices keep disappearing from my iPad and iPhone running the latest iOS and iPadOS. I download the voices again then a day or two they disappear. Any idea what could be triggering this and what could be a solution?

Hello everyone,
As new software updates from apple have arrived, there are many exciting features for us to start looking in to. One of the features I was excited about was the new Siri voices for English India.
I have been trying to download these voices on my iPhone and subsequently on my Apple Watch, no joy, however.
The voices are listed in the speech menu under accessibility/voiceover/speech, but I am unable to select them for downloading on the phone.
Needless to say, these voices cannot be downloaded on my Apple Watch as well.
