Hello there to all. someone recomended me an app called simple mic as it sounds neat.
I wanted to try it out, how ever I could not get it to load in the usa app store. Did it get pulled? See the link above for a link to the app store. i'd contact them but their site shows a 404.
I've been wanting to set up fingerprints for my new 5S IPhone. It also asks for a password for when the print is not available. If I don't choose to use the simple password option, how many characters does the other option require? Since the manual isn't in the phone anymore, I thought I would check here.
I'm looking for an app that loads quickly. I don't need to be able to edit with it. All I want to do is record, and then play the recording back with the ability to rewind, fast forward, and play at slow speeds without changing the pitch. Can one record very well with an iPod Touch 5th Generation, or does one need to connect an external mic to it, as is the case with the ClearRecorder app? I've noticed too that the Voice Memo app doesn't come with the iPod.
Thanks!
First time post and not sure whether this should be reported as a bug elsewhere but on iOS9 Safari simply selecting an option can cause the VoiceOver focus to jump to the button at the top of the page.
Is this a surprise to anybody or is VoiceOver focus setting just plain buggy?
I have an iPod Touch fifth generation. I need to be able to text people with Android phones or tablets. I don't really care about bells and whistles right now. I am a new user of iDevices. (I am a Apple convert.) If suggested Apps are free, so much the better!
Does anyone know of a simpler way to navigate IOS native calendar app? For example, is there a way to view only days with events, or search by specific date rather than view the whole month or week? I am running IOS 12.3.1.
If there is no way to do this are there any apps you recommend that might have this feature?
Dear Friends:
I am a blind iOS user living in California and I have just released my first iOS app.
Simulated Sighted Stranger is a hilarious app that includes a rich library of audio clips simulating the things that blind people have heard a million times as we make our way through life. Classics like "you're going the wrong way," and "watch yourself," are randomly selected from a constantly growing library of sounds with just a shake of your iPhone or a tap of the button.
Since i updated to ios 17.1 i can't find the audio message button in the i message app.all i can find is the dicktate button i hidde the key board with my blue tooth key board but i can't find it. All it says dicktate button double tapp to actavate it
Hi, folks.
Ever since I updated my iPhone to 7.1--, it's like I've fallen through the rabbit hole.
The dock area at the bottom of any phone page, including "favorites, contacts, keypad, recents, voicemail" is no longer there, and it takes so long to find those tabs, my hands hurt (I have other things than just blindness going on).
In addition, the messages area is similarly dislocated. I cannot type because the letters aren't where I expect them to be.
While Voice Dream Reader had absolutely no issues downloading files from Dropbox when I upgraded to iOS 17.0, ever since I upgraded to 17.01, when you try downloading a file, it goes through the whole downloading process where you can see the percentage and everything and it looks like it worked just fine, but it hasn't. When you close out of the add screen and get back into your library, you're told that the file is unavailable. I even tried playing the file just in case this was some weird issue that would somehow be resolved by trying this, but that didn't fix things.
To anyone who is using the karaoke app called "Sing" by Smule:
Have you been having issues loading songs? For example, when I want to "sing with someone for free", I first load up the track with the other person singing the other part, but, when I try to load up that track, it plays for maybe like 5 seconds and then just stops, though, sometimes it plays longer, but it always eventually inevitably stops and will never start back up again.
Is anyone else having this problem? Or, is it perhaps just my phone or even my wifi?
Hey guys,
One of my favorite apps I enjoy using is called Sing! by Smule. Even though the tabs are unlabeled, I still use it regardless. If you guys don't know what sing is, it is a Karaoke app that lets you do collaborations eather solo, duet, or with a group. I've recently subscribed to the VIP all access pass, where you could access a thousand songs, and tuns of voice effects. Does any of my AppleVis community membors currently, or used to use sing! by smule? I still do, and I love it! btw, if anyone wishes to follow me, you may do so. username is:

Good day, in Ios 10, is there a setting we can change so voice over will read numbers in text message as single digits? I cannot anything in settings, but I am hoping that I have missed something!
regards
I was wondering if this has happened to someone and what steps were taken to turn it off.
When I single finger swipe up or down, VO speech rate goes faster or slower accordingly. This would occur whether I am on the lock screen, app or settings. Any time I interact with a slider. I would swipe up or down to adjust the slider. While it adjust the slider. It also adjust VO speech rate. For example, I make the screen brighter and VO speaks faster as if the brightness irritates her. I lower the brightness and she speaks slower.
I have a folder on my computer with episodes of a tv show and some movies. before I sinked the tv shows and movies however, i converted them to mp3 and gave each episode a number like this, 01.mp3, 02.mp3, 03.mp3, 04.mp3, and so on. on my windows10 computer the episodes are shown and they all play in order. But when sinked to the iPod touch through itunes they all get renamed and they are all out of order and mixed up, with headings sometimes which don't even make sense. making playing them in order almost not possible.
Hello all, is there a way to set all the voice recordings I made with the built-in voice-memo app to automatically sink to my iTunes? I used to be able to access the recordings with my Pc, but now I can no longer find the recent recordings I have made.
Where can I find an option to sink the recordings to my iTunes on iCloud setting?
As an assistive technology instructor, I have a client who has an iPhone SE 2020. It will not recognize any day in the calendar past the 28th of any month. If, for example, she asks Siri to create a calendar alert for March 30, Siri asks for the info but does not create the event. Also, if she asks Siri if she has any appointments for March 29, Siri responds with March 28. Same for every month. Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions for fixing it?
This bug has been around for awhile now. I thought it would be fixed when Siri functionality was restored, but it's still present for me.
I'll ask Siri to find the nearest CVS, and then she'll tell me the location of the store. When she asks if I'd like to call that location or get directions, and I say, "call" or "call that location," she'll say "who would you like to call?" I've googled this and it seems like others have experienced it but I haven't found a fix.
