I am posting to say that so far I have found no bugs when using IOS 14. I also I am using Alex. I have heard others say that when they are using enhanced voices that they have seen some delay when swiping on the screen of their devices when using the enhanced voices. I am submitting this post to say that that is not the case for me. Well I cannot speak for everyone that is what I have seen so far when using iOS 14.
iOS and iPadOS
That's at least my recent impression.
I tried Freeform on iOS and Mac OS and actually it's useless because of missing accessibility. I'm very disappointed.
Quick Draft works similar but only allows text. If this is enough for your workflow it's really a nice app to take notes on iPhone and the Mac.

At least that's what the email from the CNIB said, but when I went to the app store to download it, they still want $54. Ain't gonna happen. So, why say that it's free when it isn't? Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Maybe the app store is behind? I'm feeling really disappointed.
Hey all I am wanting to get in to short form video content for my company. as such, I want to play with some of the video apps, for doing stories, and such so can someone tell me what is better, youtube, snapchat, ticktock, instagram, twitter or something else for creating new video content? I should note that I am compleetly dependaant on voice over, and have a iphone XS Thanks,
Hello all. I can't figure this out. I'm primarily responsible for getting us places, while my relative drives. My question is simple: After putting in an address, clicking directions, and Go, the voice sometimes starts out very soft. I've turned off speech with a three finger double tap, and I've left the screen open. Has anyone experienced this? It's a little frustrating as my relative can't hear the first part, so I have to repeat it. For eample, I want to go to 1236 Maple Lane.
Hello to all,
I recently found an app called SoloLearn. It allows you to learn various codes such as HTML, Python C++, etc. It even supports Swift.
I was interested, so I hit the GET button to download it.
At a first glance, accessibility is well maintained when signing up or logging into a SoloLearn account. I created my account, and that's when accessibility started to drop slightly.
There are several buttons that are labeled, and several that are not. Worst of all, some dialogs contain no back button, so you can't go back to the previous page.
Hi all,
Can someone please help me? Ever since I upgraded to iOS9, I can't seem to swipe right to get to the content I want as easily. For example, I'm in the iTunes store and want to view my wishlist, which is quite long. So, I get through the first 20 songs and tap "Show More." All is working fine so far, but then there comes a point where I can tap "show more" and I'll get the next item, but then it won't let me swipe any further and I see no way to get around this to view the rest of the content. How do I get around this?
to stop voiceover’s loosing focus, turn off caption panel. Use two finger quadruple tap for quick settings, then turn caption panel off.
I have a 64GB iPhone SE 2020. More than half that memory is consumed by audio and a bit more by apps and data, leaving typically about 5GB-10GB free. In the past, I have always been able to manage my Music library on my Mac and sync to my iPhone. I did not need a ton of free space because most of the audio hadn't changed.
I am using the latest version of iOS 15 on my iPhone XR.
I was trying to play a voice mail mesage on the speaker but couldn't find any way of turning on the speaker. When I hold the phone to my ear the audio is often very quiet and, unfortunately, when I hold the phone away from my ear it doesn't switch to speaker mode as when making or receiving a phone call. Thus not only is the message hard to ear, but it is difficult to share and have someone else listen at the same time.
Solved the issue. I had notes from IOS8 that seemed to be causing some problems when I upgraded to IOS9. Deleting the old notes fixed the issue I was having below:
Hi, I've just upgraded to IOS9 and had to install Itunes 12. I was using Itunes 11 before. I'm using Windows 7 and Outlook 2013 with JAWS.
whenever I do a sync with my Iphone, I get the error saying Itunes couldn't sync notes as the Iphone disconnected.
It appears as if notes are being synced from the Iphone to Outlook but not the other way around.
I just noticed something. When I perform a gesture that is undefined, my iPhone makes a ping sound. It happens more after I reset all the gestures, getting rid of some of the ones I defined.
I think this may have started after I updated to one of the 17.X versions of iOS. Did I just never notice this, and it's been that way for ages?
There is only one symptom of this: when I start Be My Eyes, it makes the usual iOS app start-up "ding" sound, then in a tiny fraction of a second, practically immediately, I am back on my home screen from where I started the app and nothing happens. No message whatsoever, absolutely nothing.
This behaviour is constant since the upgrade. Closing and reopening
the app, restarting the phone, and even uninstalling and reinstalling
the app doesn't help.
Yeah, the title just about says it. How do y'all deal with captchas that appear while signing up to certain services via an app?
As technical writing is not my forte, I would be curious to hear other people's thoughts on some feedback I intend submitting to Apple, in some hope they will consider implementing it at some stage. It is in relation to getting the hang of, and successfully mastering face ID. I've been thinking about how KNFB reader gives you haptic feedback when your camera is in a good position to start scanning a document. I also thought about the iOS camera app, and how it tells you how many faces it can see before we take a picture.
I don't know if I am the only one facing these challenges with their iPhone with VoiceOver or it's just me. I upgraded to an iPhone SE 2020 from my SE 2016 also know as the first edition SE.
