When composing a review of a business in the Yelp app, the star rating ends up 3 stars no matter how many stars I had actually selected. Anyone else experiencing this? Latest version of the app on iOS 9.3

Hello there. I have literally just installed IOS11 on my iPhone SE. As expected when the phone came back on it reverted back to the default daniel voice, but i just can’t seem to get rid of him. Voiceover is telling me the voice i want is definitely selected, but it’s still daniel speaking. I have even tried (twice in fact) deleting the voice i want (kate enhanced), downloading her again and re-selecting her, but all my attempts thus far have failed. Please can anyone suggest anything else i could try? I just want my friend kate back lol :) thanks in advance.

How do I select an entire category, i.e., social Networking instead of specific apps within that category to set time limits? Cause when I double tap a category it only expands its app list or colapses it. There's no action menu and double tapping also does nothing. There surely should be some way to select an entire category in one go?

Hello, can anyone explane to me please how do I select the call screening feature? When I go into settings its there, but when I dubble tap one of the options with Voiceover for example ask reason for calling, it says its selected however, after a second voiceover then repetes the setting and its sounds like its unselected again. Can anyone clarify this please?

I've been playing around with Focus on my iPhone, using Apple's own documentation as a guide. Apple's instructions say:
| To quickly silence all notifications, open Control Center, , tap Focus, then turn on Do Not Disturb.
It's two steps. Tap Focus, then turn on Do Not Disturb. But it seems to work a little different with VoiceOver. If I double tap Focus, it turns on Do Not Disturb. There is no second step. I don't have a choice to select a Focus option other than Do Not Disturb.

Hi alll,
I'm new to using the keyboard controls with a bluetooth keybaord, so apologies if this is obvious.
In the Messages and Mail apps, I can navigate to the "To:" entry fields and type easily. However, it seems hard to select one of the autocomplete options without touching the screen. Is it necessary to touch the screen to select a contact after typing part of their name, or can I somehow navigate to that pane with the keyboard? The keyboard command I would expect to navigate through the contacts (VO right, for example) kind of seem to skip over it.

Hello, is there any way to select multiple emails in the mail app using voiceover to delete them or move them at the same time or do you have to do this one at a time?

Hello all and please stay safe. I want to share a tip I found recently in the mail up. I don’t know if it was available before but I found it under 14.6. When you want to select multiple mail messages together you have to go to edit on the upper corner of the mail up. Then you do double tap on any message and then it says selected so you can’t delete many messages together. I’m not sure if this was available before but I think it’s very handy and it pissed me off before. Anyway hope it helps somebody

I came from the Symbian background, so let me explain in that way:
In Nokia e-5, I compose the text message and leave the 'to' field blank and presses the send key. contact list appears and one can choose as many recipients from this list. After choosing, when I presses the send key the message sent to those contacts.

Well well, it's turning into quite a week for VoiceDream, isn't it? Here's the problem I'm having: one of the best things about VoiceDream has always been the ease of selecting text; except that, to celebrate the bringing in of the annual subscription' that functionality appears to be broken. there should be a button next to the play button labelled: "select text" but now it's a seasaw or playdround and unlabelled. not sure if this is in the right place, but was just wondering how you select text when youre reading an article or email for example. when editing my own text or document I /can do it just fine but it seems the same actions dont work on a webpage...I read somewhere that the way to do it is to press the voice over key then entre, but I dont know what the voice over key is or where it is.

How does one, if this is even possible, select text in iOS using VoiceOver?
I have the Text Selection rotor option enabled, but this only seems to come up when I am in an editable text field.
Als, I tried the "reverse pinch" gesture but only heard the "cursor in a text field" clicky sound but nothing else, and no text was selected.

Here's an easy question that I really should be able to answer. I am trying to copy a number from a gift card so I can use it. When I look at the "edit" option in Safari, the only option I see is "select all," which, of course, copies everything on the page when I then use the "copy" command. I cannot seem to select only the card number. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but I'm not figuring it out, so any help would be most appreciated. I'm using an iPhone 13 Pro.
