I have just gotten a Sensi smart thermostat. I really like it and have so far found the app to be completely VO friendly. However, I have been using the thermostat for about 24 hours and, during that time, it has twice changed the set temperature on its own. This should not have happened because I have not set up any schedules. I know that there are some people on Applevis with Sensi thermostats. Have any of you experienced this and do you know how to fix it? I'm sure there is something in the app I am missing but I can't figure out what it might be.

After working with iOS7 on my iPhone 4s for a bit, it seems like the sensitivity of the touch screen has changed and become very sensitive.
The device seems to be catching extraneous gestures such as a touch or swipe when I didn't even touch the screen. This is easy to tell with VoiceOver running since VoiceOver makes a clicking sound when a touch or gesture is made.

Is there a way to separate the volume of your ringer from your alarm volume? I like my ringer quiet like around 20% but I would like my alarm volume at 100% because I won't wake up if it's at 20% like the ringer is. Any help would be appreciated.

I just attempted to set up an account on Goodmaps Outdoors, and no matter which way I try, the app refuses to let me complete the account setup. When I try setting up an account using my email address, the app sends me a verification link, so far, so good, but when I open the link, it does nothing and leaves me in the screen that prompts me to send a verification code to my email address. when I try setting up an account using my phone number, all goes well until I enter the code the app sends me via text message, and then I get the following error message.

I am running iOS 13.3.1 on an iPhone 8. I have the latest version of the Amazon Alexa app. this bug occurs in the routines section of the app. I created a routine that turns a smart plug on, waits a certain amount of time, then turns the smart plug off. after I put all three of the actions into the routine, I went back and checked the routine, only to find that the actions were now in alphabetical order and I had to re-order them. The problem with that is that the re-order button is not fully accessible with voiceover.

I have an IPhone 8 with IOS 11.1.2. Ever since I've had the phone, which was the first day it was available, the microphones are reversed when I'm on a phone call. More specifically, when I'm holding the phone to my ear, the speaker phone microphone is active. When I remove the phone from my ear, and am speaking on the speaker phone, the microphone that should be active when holding the phone to my ear is engaged.

Hi,
I have a very serious issue associated with the Weather Gods 4.8.5. It seems to have caused the App, Widget or Watch to repeatedly call for weather data - in some cases every 4 minutes. This has resulted in a very large weather data bill which I will have to pay.
I have an update 4.8.6 which is on the App Store and I am hoping I have identified the rogue part of the app - not 100% as I have received no crash or hang reports from Apple.
Please can everyone update the app and also let anyone else know who might be using 4.8.5 and ask them to update.

i was surprised when i can not find an end date for a medication, all things were ok, except that there is no end date for a medicine.

Am using siri to make all my phone calls.
but if a contact has 2 or 3 phone numbers, siri always ask me what number should she use,
need to find a way to set a default phone number for some contacts in order to make calling more faster,

I have strange request may be which is need to find a way to set fixed VOice over focus.
let's say that i need to use my ipad to Read something and perform what am reading write now, after i go back, my finger touches another thing which make it difficult to go to the thing that was Voice over focused, then use rother to set my reading preferences etc, so, is there away to tell voice over not to leave this thing even if i touched another item on screen?

Is this possible? I use an app called DayOne. If I set a timer with Siri, the Siri screen p pops up. When I dismiss the Siri screen, I then need to get DayOne to recognize my face. Finally, I find my way to the text editor. By that time, some time has ticked down on the timer. Is there a way to run a timer without leaving the screen where I am?
Similar situation. I want to set up a timer that I can double tap from the home screen that will simply either send a notification when done or make a sound. Again I don’t want to dismiss a screen.

So my new iPhone 15 Pro arrived today. Historically I have always set up devices as new, rather than doing a data transfer. All of my key data is of course in iCloud and other services, but it does require downloading all of my apps, creating home screens, signing in to apps etc, so a big enough task.
I am considering doing this again with the 15 Pro. Would that be crazy?
I know there are a couple of options for transferring, but do people find these a good experience? Have you found any drawbacks?

Is it possible to set a ringtone as a text tone in iOS 17? Bought a new text tone to set for one of my friends. It is categorioed as a ringtone though, so can't seem to set it as a text tone. Anyone know how to make it work?
