Every now & then since Siri was open to developers with ios. 10, I go in & see which of my apps I uie have implemented it. Well, I just went through the settings & found Facebook supported it & turned it on. Only problem is, I can't find anything online about what you can do with Siri & Facebook. Can anyone give me any helpful info? Thanks & much appreciated!
So Apple Music with Siri is truly the biggest game changer as far as the ability to hear a song quickly since Youtube! I don't know if anyone has made this clear, but all one need do is tell Siri the name of a song or an artist, and it plays right away! That is amazing because even if you don't own a song, even if you've never played it before, it is played as fast as you can say its name. However, changing or unsubscribing to your subscription seems all but impossible.
For the last two or three weeks, SIRI won't access many of my contacts on my IPhone 4S running OS6. I am known to her as Knobman. If I ask her to "call home," I hear a clicking sound for several seconds; then she says, "I don't have a number for home, Knobman." I have carefully examined the Home contact in the contacts system; I know that Home has no typos and that the "other phone" number is absolutely correct (Home goes to a land line - not amobile phone). Several of my other contacts show bizarre behavior.
I have a question about Siri and sending group messages or messages from a group list.
I have not found a way for Siri to enter a group list into the mail application, or a way to have Siri put a contact into mail with many email addresses. Has anyone found a way around this? I would really like a way to send emails to my group without manually inputting or saving draft lists of this group and accessing manually. If anyone has a workaround I'd appreciate it!

After I updated to iOS 15 using an iPhone SE second edition, I found that Siri doesn’t seem to respond when the iPhone is totally asleep. When I say hey Siri, The phone will wake up and read me the time. For example, I would say hey Siri turn off do not disturb. It wouldn’t answer, and I would get the response that I just wrote about. Actually, that time, Siri just beeped, is it it was finished listening to me. I hope that makes sense. Has anybody else had issues like this?
I only started noticing this after IOS 9 and of course 9.1. Whenever you ask siri where the nearest point of interest is, it only says the name of the place and nothing more. It fails to mention the address, and how far away it is from your current location. For instance, when I ask where's the nearest burger king is, it only says the nearest one I found is burger King and nothing more.
Can anyone confirm this?

Hi. For a while, I was able to ask SIRI to "Read News Headlines" and the BBC Headlines, here in the UK, were accessed and played for me. Lately, When I ask SIRI, it says that it does not have any news sources. Does anyone have any idea why this has happened?

I’VE BEEN USING ios 8.1.2 FOR A WEEK NOW AND NOTICED Siri and VO are playing nice with each other.
Previously, Siri would get cut off or truncated. I would have to turn off VO in order to work with Siri. After the update, the problem Seemed to have gone away. Anyone else noticed this?
I am using IOS 8.1.2 on an iPhone 6.
Siri will no longer play voicemail when asked.
Anybody else have this issue?
I've been reading on a lot of mainstream technology blogs, websites etc that Siri now vibrates when activated, as opposed to the double-beep we've all come to know and, occasionally, love, depending on how good Siri is to us. When experimenting with this, I discovered that when VoiceOver is enabled, the double-beep sounds are still there as usual. I tried disabling VoiceOver and indeed a vibration was all there was to announce Siri's activation.
I used to have a second-gen iPhone SE. It worked great, except it had developed one very annoying problem. When I asked SIRI, “What’s the weather?” it would emit the thinking tone for a few seconds, and then respond “I’m having trouble with the connection. Please try again later.” I would immediately ask for the weather again, and SIRI would immediately give me the weather. This problem happened while connected to wifi with full signal strength. It was always the weather, and it was always able to provide the weather on the second try.

I read on Mac Roomers, that from Ios16, siri can anounce notifications just on my Iphone and no need to have airbods or something,
so i enable this, and choose apps that siri will anounce notifications from, but nothing happened.
do i still need ot do extra thing? and is it working at your side?
Hi all. I went to just now select Julie, from my contacts. As normal, I started typing "J.U," to see which one i wanted. I found someone else named, Justin, email and phone number. I clicked on each's "More Info", I was unable to get rid of it. Can anyone help? I went into my contacts, thinking i did something, nope. Hope someone can help, it's making me crazy. Then again, I am anyway. ;)
Hi, when I set my siri voice to siri male, it stays on for a bit and then goes back to the siri female voice. This is the british voices.
I read where someone asked Siri to play the number1 song on their birthday, well I tried it and I'll be darned she did! Is this something new with the apple music feature?
I just spotted that Siri has regained the ability to send email. This capability vanished with the introduction of iOS 15 and also vanished from earlier versions of iOS. I have been able to test Siri's email feature on iOS and iPadOS 15.1 and it also works on iOS 15.0.2. I guess it will also have returned to iOS 14, but I can't test that. I had written a Siri Shortcut as a stop gap but it was beset by some Shortcuts bugs. It's really good that Apple listened and acted on this one.

When using Siri to send a text or to call a contact, I seem to get stuck in a loop sometimes. So, I might say, "Call John" and Siri responds with, "John Tel 1 or email?2 Responding with "Tel 1" or "Home" or "Mobile" still results in the same Siri response. This however, does not happen if I already have a text from John in my inbox, in which case it sets up the text reply without issue.
Any pointers as to why this happens?

How do you request an Uber using Serie? My wife has tried several times but after it asks wha type of ride that she wants, it forces her to go to the Uber AP. It will not complete the transaction.
For example, when she says that she would like a rideto a location, Serie asks her which service she wants, then dumps her into the AP to set it up herself. She only has the use of one hand, so actually negotiating the AP is not an option at this time. For now, I am setting up her rides, but she wants to do it on her own.
Any ideas?
