Hello,
I have recently downloaded the MacHash News app. I have been using Newsify, an RSS reader for a while now.
I just want to see what the community thinks about this topic?
Is MacHash better to use than Newsify?

Hi,
I recently downloaded this app.
I have subscribed to four or five fees several times but each time several hours later when I go back in to the app for updated content the fees have disappeared.
I have been in to settings and ticked the sync with iCloud and don't delete read posts but with no joy.
Also where it says you can purchase the pro version, the button do buy is dimmed.
Anyone else having issues with this app?
I am using the iPhone6 and iPad Mini with retina display if this makes any difference.

I recently installed the app for guideposts magazine to try to read an issue I did not receive in Braille. The Guideposts app is accessible. However, part of the newsstand app is not accessible. I was able to purchase the magazine I wanted to read but voiceOver did not read the magazine when I was in view mode. i have heard the newsstand app is not accessible to read magazines. Has apple been contacted about this problem? Thank you.

I am wondering if there are any newsstand apps that are VoiceOver-accessible, or if the technology empoloyed for newsstand apps is inherently inaccessible?
I have tried from time to time with certain local publishers that offer newsstand papers on iOS but so far, every single experiment I did so far failed.
It was possible to buy items, but the content was never readable.
Is this a generic problem, or is it related to how the content providers create their content for iOS?

yesterday I contacted the developers of Vokul. I told them what a great app Vokul is and how well it works with VoiceOver. I also mentioned a few features that would be niceto see such as email dictation, facebook status dictation, reminders and alarms. I also asked aboutthe data usage of the app because I have a limited dataplan. Below is the email I got in response. He mentioned some bugs with VoiceOver which I haven't experienced. If you have noticed any I would be curious to know what they are. Thanks.

I find I am unable to email articles from NFB Newsline from my ipad. Articles come through fine using the NFB Newsline app on iphone or the web version. Do other's experience this same issue?
If so, I'll follow up with NFB.

How do you guys keep track of your teams, both players and statistics, and do you use any apps to make this easier?
currently, I have found the nfl12 app to be the best, but thought I'd run it by you all.

This is for the NHL main app. Canadian viewers use Rogers NHL. Does the bug exist there?
The buttons in the Video tab where you pick a stream to watch aren't labeled. Voiceover just says Button instead of the name of the feed EG, Penguins: F.S. PT for Pittsburgh. Bruins: N.S.N for Boston.
1. In the NHL app go to the Video section and find a game to watch.
2. Double tap on the game EG Bruins vs Penguins to bring up the list of feeds.
3. VO just says Button instead of feed name, see example above.

Good afternoon, what is the nike plus ipod app good for? i enabled it in settings on my iphone 5s but it seem s that it doesn't work. Does it need some wearable gadget or something other?

The subject line says it all. I can't find the Bard Mobile app anymore. I even tried using the link to the app on the Bard web cite and it said that the app is no longer available in my country or region. Has anyone heard why they might have pulled this? It would be very unfortunate to lose access to the Bard service.

There have been rumors in the wind of an nls book player app for ios for a long time now.
Does anybody know (or know how to get) any information on the state of this app?
As an every day user of the National Library Service, and a long time fan of the program, I am very much looking forward to this app, as are many others I know.
I think we would do well to find out how the progress on this project is going, and offer our support as a community to whomever is developing the app.
It goes almost without needing to be said that having this app would be a huge asset to many of us.

Hi, I am setting up an iPhone 12 Mini as a new device. When I go to Settings > Accessibility Setting > VoiceOver > Speech > Voices, the English (US) options are Fred and Samantha. Where did Alex go? It still shows up on my iPhone SE. Is there some way to prompt iOS to remember that Alex is a thing?

They have done away with the calculator in IOS 11 update. It was so convenient having it on swipe. They have taken away the whole thing. Now you need to download an app for the same

Hi all. I went to tell someone how blistering cold it is, and realized I didn't know where the degrees symbol is. I then looked later, and found outthere's not one in either the numbers, or the more symbols screens. I wonder why the droid, as a friend pointed out, has it. if I'm mistaken please tell me where it is.

I have an IPhone8 running ios 15.3. I'm trying to delete the alex voice but the delete option is no longer available. The only options I see is speak sample and activate. Is this a bug? I remember being able to delete the alex voice in the past.

I use Bookshare to download books using the Voice Dream Reader app on iOS. (Not sure if it matters, but I've had the app a long time and don't pay a subscription.) I've noticed that I can no longer download books from Bookshare, though I can use other sources to add books on the app. I'm logged in to Bookshare on Voice Dream, and I can browse books the usual way, but there's no link to download, either on the results list or on the pages for individual books.
