Hi all.
My phone just updated to 17.1.1 and my voice is reset to Samantha. So I went into settings/accessibility/voiceover/voice to just reset it to Eloquence, and I don't see it there at all. Is it gone? Or do you set it somewhere else?
Hi all.

Hello everybody. I own an iPhone 7 Plus with the system haptic (I also have the sounds and haptic setting in Settings). the problem is that I'm unable to use the new haptic feedback with VoiceOver. On Accessibility > VO > Audio, there appears just the option "sounds", similar to the ipad which doesn't have any taptic engine.
I cannot understand this behavior because the iPhone 7 was the first generation that had the new taptic engine... So, why doesn't this work?
When making demos of iPhone apps I generally run a cable from the earphone jack of my iPhone 6 to an external audio mixer in order to obtain the best sound quality.
Question: With the new iPhones that do not contain an audio jack (like the iPhone 7), what is the best way to route audio output from the iPhone to my mixer?
Thanks for any advice.

Hi. I have a problem with iOs9.3.4. When I type, I usually hear the keyboard clicks, but now, I don't hear any after I update. Is this a bug?
I updated my SE 2020 to iOS 18.2. I went to mail and found it saying no mail. I was told to double tap the more button, which I did. I was then told to hit restore list view. I didn't find a restore list view, just list view, and I double-tapped that with no response. Please help!!!
Hi all,
I just wanted to inform you that you cannot downgrade back to iOS 7 from iOS 8. apple stopped sighning the codes for iOS 7, so if you were looking forward to downgrading back to iOS 7, then the answer is no, and that's final. I read the article via iMore. and they have an app which is accessible.
Hi all
Smile, hope you like the subject.
I have no News app on either my iPhone 5s or iPad Mini 2 both running iOS 9, of course. I am in the UK and so it should be there. But it isn't. I double checked my region settings and they appear to be correct. Please, what's going on? Thank you, any responses greatly appreciated.
After upgrading to iOS 14.5 on my iPhone 8, my phone no longer rings when I receive an incoming call. I've restarted my phone and checked Settings to make sure the ringer volume is enabled and set to 100%. I've disabled the volume buttons for the ringer. The phone (usually) vibrates. I hear other system sounds, so it's not the silence switch. I can't figure out why this is happening or what to do to fix it. Can anyone help me with this?
I use the iPhone 7. When I try to activate Siri voice-enhanced males, the noise was not reappear in IOS 10.2. Whereas in the iPhone 6S male voice Siri was available. Is there a friend who experienced something like this?
Today I just updated to 13.2 on my iPhone 8 Plus, and after the update, my voiceover defaulted to the Samantha voice, and now none of the siri voices I have downloaded work anymore on voiceover. I can't even delete and redownload them, when I swipe up on the voice, I can't delete it. Anyone else having this issue?
Hello all: I turned on my phone, heard the start up chime and didn't get back to my phone for a few minutes. When I pressed the side unlock button, nothing happened. No Siri either. Tripple-clicked side button with no voiceover coming on. Even tried the shut-down with volume up volume down and then holding side button. Not sure if the shutdown screen came up but double-tapped near the top corner where shutdown usually is. Then tried turning phone back on with side button with no sppeech or Siri. I guess tomorrow will be a trip to the Verizon Store.
Hi' I upgraded to iOS 11 yesterday, but VoiceOver doesn't talk, and the sound of my iPhone is gone, i don't hear sound, not of the locking the device i have tried to turn up the volume . how i solve the problem? i have heard that i need to turn up the volume of VoiceOver, how can i do this? i had tried to do this in the rotor settings, but i don't see the how much volume is, i think that something goes wrongs with my iPhone or this is bug in the version?
Hi All,
When I open a link to You Tube from a web site such as Twitter You Tube opens and plays but there is no sound if O open You Tube from the app or Safari the sound works fine. I have a 4s and it is running the latest version.Any help would be apreciated.
Thanks John
On iPhone 4S with iOS 7.0 some of my apps no longer have any sound. I don't want to update my iOS or replace my phone. I can still play music on my phone and VO and Siri both work fine so it does not seem to be the phone or hardware. Its just sound effects on some games and such. Tried reboot (turning phone off then on again) did not help.
Hi
I am not sure if this has been discussed before, in WhatsApp you will have no feedback of typed characters and words using VoiceOver. I found that if I toggle an option to have popup alert in WhatsApp VoiceOver seems to read and announce typed words and characters. So if you are in a WhatsApp message, and you need to get feedback for what you type, then go back to the main whatsApp screen and swipe on any message thread, choose more to summon alert popup screen. Cancel this and then VoiceOver will announce everything you type as normal.
There used to be an updates tab in the App Store where I could see which of my apps were up to date. I can't find it in IOS 13.6. The updates button in settings is on. What am I missing?
I have two devices that are just barely eligible for the latest iOS version but I don't want to update them. I have one iPad Air 3 running the current iOS and I don't like it. I also once got burned updating a barely eligible device and ended up having to buy a new one because the updated one was rendered non-functioning. My even older devices running on iOS 12 and not eligible for the latest iOS are still getting updates from Apple.
