Hi everyone so I got a new phone recently and it had garage band on it as one of the apps that was automatically installed when you get a new phone and I want to play around with it so with that being said I’m wondering some thing though is there a way to use GarageBand with a Bluetooth keyboard and by keyboard I mean the one that you were type with not the musical version of a keyboard any help would be appreciated thanks

Hello everyone. I got my new Iphone yesterday. I was wondering, is there a possibility that you can cut out the silence at the end of an audio recording you make in garage band? I have been making recordings using youtube on my IPad and garage band on my phone. I intend to use these recordings as ringtones. But, if I stop recording before the 32nd limit, there is a really long bit of silence.

Hello, I am trying to make a song in Garage Band for IOS. I want to use Loops. Now, I got my drum track and My electric piano track. When I go to play what I have been working on, I hear my drum track and I also hear my piano track. But, When I hear the piano track, I only plays for 1 bar and The drum loop keeps on playing. Note: I just want to make a song out of loops. So, Can someone please tell me how to lengthen all of the instrument track in my song? Thanks.

Dear all,
I have just tried to download the Garage Band in app purchase for the RED loop pack for AIDS and it will not work. I get through the <purchase>, putting in my user ID and password and <buy> pages but after that it saysoperation could not be completed.'. I'm using an iPhone 6 with IOS 8.1 and on a very fast eduroam wireless connection at my university. What do you think is the problem? Is anyone else having this problem?

I haven’t use Garage band for like the past 3 or 4 months ago. I read like 5 months ago a post from one of the developers of the app that it has been improved for voiceover. The thing is that I use it more with loops to create projects, but now the track screen looks very different.

Greetings all.
I just purchased the Garage Band app on my IPhone 4. Though it is a pretty sweet app, especially with the new direct touch mode Voiceover has to offer, I do have a couple of questions for those that have used it.
1. is there a timing correction feature in the app? I have looked all over the place, and I can't seem to find it. No matter how I play, even with the metronome, It doesn't seem to process my various taps and such on the screen quick enough for correct timing. Do other people use it on the IPhone 4?

i have read comments about both garage band and thumb jam. would like to know how people decided to purchase one or the other. apart from the slight difference in price, both applications are very similar. is one more accessible with voice over than the other?

Hi. :-) I recently downloaded Garage Band on both my ipad and iphone. Is there a way to record your keyboard directly to garage band. I've seen it done, but I'm not sure what is needed for it.
Also, is it possible to make a sound go from ear to ear, (pan from left to right)?

I want to get back into recording music, and rather than using my PC, I want to try using my iPad Mini. Garage Band seems a likely starting place. I've been trying to figure it out, but I'm not having fun yet.
I've looked here and mostly found people asking for tutorials, but no actual step by step information.
I have done a little YouTube looking, but haven't found anything too useful as there's so much, "tap this, slide that."

i know how to create a new project, how to open the loop browser, but when i find the loop i need, how can i insert it to my Project?
also, is it easy to just change it's tempo and Lenghth?

Hi all. I'm looking to learn how to use Garageband. I have an iPhone and Mac but wanted to primarily start with my iPhone as i have the Shure MV88 Microphone and currently no USB C cable to attach to my mac. I am a vocalist and play Ukulele and would be collaborating with others so essentially, I need to produce my part and then send it out to other musicians so they can add theirs. I also need the ability to use a clicktrack. Never done anything like this so any help much appreciated.

I've been searching for the quantization settings within Garageband on the IPad for a while. They are in a different place than in the IPhone version.
doubletap on the tracks button,
doubletap on the track you want to quantize.
Mixer settings will show the the left of the tracks, (you can choose to show or hide)
The quantization settings are actually within the mixer settings. They are not however, in what I'll call the quick settings to the left of the tracks.
Closer to the top of the screen is a mixer icon that you can doubletap and a popup will appear.

Hey guys,
I'm having trouble trimming sounds on the sampler, in fact, I can't even trim sounds in the sampler.
So, when trying to trim in the sampler, there are two handles, right?
Ok, so VoiceOver pronounces them as Left Resize Handle and Right Resize Handle.
I want to trim my sounds from the beginning and i try to drag the left handle, but VO gives me no feedback as to how I'm dragging the handle.
So any tips?
