Hello everyone,
Does anyone know how to get google docs to stop announsing things as I type? iOS typeing echo is off but it still does this.
I have no idea as to why it does this. It even does it on the web in windows and macOS as wel.
Is there a way to turn this off?
iOS and iPadOS
New version seems to have broken something. I updated today, and now I can't seem to access words or lines or anything inside the control that holds the text, editing seems to be impossible now. I just made a backup this morning, so I think I'll go back to the previous version by deleting the app and putting it back on with itunes. If anyone else uses google docs and there is an update available, be cautious.
I have been all over Applevis researching this before creating this post. For background, We produce a newsletter for Washington Council of the Blind. So staying with a format that can go between IOS and Windows, supports headings, and can easily convert to HTML or PDF is Important. Most of our documents come in as Word gfiles, so we have standardized on that format, DOCX. Some of us have chosen to do all our editing in Google Docx, on the iPhone, with a Bluetooth keyboard.
Hi i am running the latest google home on my ipad, and no services are there.
i looked just about everywhere.

Does anyone know how to have Google Maps notify you of your location? Every other app that I use such as Apple Maps, Nearby Explorer has a really simple way of finding out where you are. I can't figure out how to do that and I like Google Maps do to the wealth of information it has on local businesses etc... Any thaughts, ideas would be appreciated. Thank you,
Hi! From the Google Maps search results sometimes you will get places with no proper street address for example with parks. Sometimes you will just get a postal/zip code and the name of the town or city.
is there a way you can get the longitude and latitude coordinates from a particular place?
Hi everyone, hope you're doing well and staying safe. I have an iPhone 15 pro currently running the latest version of iOS. I'm running into a strange situation with Google Maps and I'm wondering if anybody has any insight or can help me please.
If i look for an address on Google maps, is there a way to add the resulting info to my contacts on the iPhone? I'll give the perfect example. I looked up the post office. Google maps found it right away, and I could see the address and phone number. I'd like to have that in my contacts on IOS. Is there some way to do this so that I don't have to search for it over and over again, or manually find some way to copy and paste all that? the name would be auto filled in and everything would just be there. i hit done and boom. its in my contacts.
Just started using Google maps and is signed in through google email. This might be a silly question but I can't find how to understand my location. Other GPS apps usually have this button.
When trying to read an e-Book on the Play Books app on my iPhone, I do the two finger swipe down for continuous reading. However, Voice Over stops reading at the end of the page and I need to manually move to the next page with a three finger swipe left and then swipe down with two fingers to restart reading. Unlike with the Kindle app where pages are turned automatically and continuous reading is uninterrupted. Is there a way to have pages turned automatically in the Play Books for uninterrupted reading? Thanks. Barbara
<p>Hi everyone. Does anyone know of an accessible google plus ap for voice over users. I've seen a ap for google plus but others have said that the ap is not blind friendly. Any ideas?</p>
I use the I phone 4s, and I have the Google plus app on my phone and I'm having trouble figuring out where the add to circles button is and when I click on that button once I find it I have no indication that the button has been clicked after the tapping sound.
Is there anyway to have this fixed?
For the last week I have been using the google podcast player. It is much easier to navigate then the IOS native app. The issues I have found with it so far are: the search button tries to hide on the top of the page, and oddly enough sometimes all available episodes are not listed. It's now my preferred app for podcasts.
