iOS and iPadOS

Greetings all. I just purchased the Garage Band app on my IPhone 4. Though it is a pretty sweet app, especially with the new direct touch mode Voiceover has to offer, I do have a couple of questions for those that have used it. 1. is there a timing correction feature in the app? I have looked all over the place, and I can't seem to find it. No matter how I play, even with the metronome, It doesn't seem to process my various taps and such on the screen quick enough for correct timing. Do other people use it on the IPhone 4? 2.

i have read comments about both garage band and thumb jam. would like to know how people decided to purchase one or the other. apart from the slight difference in price, both applications are very similar. is one more accessible with voice over than the other?

Hi. :-) I recently downloaded Garage Band on both my ipad and iphone. Is there a way to record your keyboard directly to garage band. I've seen it done, but I'm not sure what is needed for it.

Also, is it possible to make a sound go from ear to ear, (pan from left to right)?

Hi all. This is a post in where I'll put all my questions related to garage band.
I've been having some great fun with this wonderful little thing. However, when adding a loop to my tracks, I can't make it loop over the whole section of the song. Any clues on what could be happening? Thanks in advance.

Do we have one? If not, I've been playing with it a bit, and I'd consider doing one or more, if I get good enough at it to explain it, and people would be interested.

Hi all. I'm looking to learn how to use Garageband. I have an iPhone and Mac but wanted to primarily start with my iPhone as i have the Shure MV88 Microphone and currently no USB C cable to attach to my mac. I am a vocalist and play Ukulele and would be collaborating with others so essentially, I need to produce my part and then send it out to other musicians so they can add theirs. I also need the ability to use a clicktrack. Never done anything like this so any help much appreciated.

Cheers.

Hello guys!
I have a few questions about the garage band for iOS:
1: I'm using it on an iPhone. How can I edit notes on a track?
2: what are the differences between the iPhone version and the iPad version? If I connect a keyboard, what shortcuts can I use?
3: is it possible to work with him? I use the reaper, but if I wanted to change it, would that be possible?

I've been searching for the quantization settings within Garageband on the IPad for a while. They are in a different place than in the IPhone version. doubletap on the tracks button, doubletap on the track you want to quantize. Mixer settings will show the the left of the tracks, (you can choose to show or hide) The quantization settings are actually within the mixer settings. They are not however, in what I'll call the quick settings to the left of the tracks. Closer to the top of the screen is a mixer icon that you can doubletap and a popup will appear.

Hey guys,
I'm having trouble trimming sounds on the sampler, in fact, I can't even trim sounds in the sampler.
So, when trying to trim in the sampler, there are two handles, right?
Ok, so VoiceOver pronounces them as Left Resize Handle and Right Resize Handle.
I want to trim my sounds from the beginning and i try to drag the left handle, but VO gives me no feedback as to how I'm dragging the handle.
So any tips?
Thanks.

Hello everyone!
Since I'm new here, I thought I'd begin with a very brief paragraph of introduction: My real name is Felix, I'm from Germany, I work as software developer in assistive technology, and I'm blind. I'm a huge fan of a lot that Apple has done, and is doing, accessibility-wise. It's great to be here, and I hope I'll be able to both contribute and learn a lot while being here.

Hi all, I had no intention of "upgrading" to iOS 17, but I woke up with the phone upgraded for whatever reason and am now stuck with it.

It seems like there are many issues with 17, but I wanted to ask about garbled Voiceover voice when selecting items. It seems like there is a very brief skip, crackle, or garble whenever a new item is selected, whether by clicking around the screen or by swiping left or right. I use the default Samantha voice. It's really driving me crazy, has anyone found any workarounds or solutions for this? Is it a known bug?

Hey all,
Are there any gardening apps for the The iPhone?
I want to start some potted plants, but not sure quite how to do it. Although any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.

I was wondering: how good is the text-to-speech in Garmin Street Pilot? I heard it wasn't good. I used Garmin Street Pilot On Demand and the TTS wasn't good. Also, can you change voices in Garmin? Thanks.

I was thinking of installing the Gateway Gadget app from www.biblegateway.com and was wondering if anyone had tried it out. I really like the website. As a jaws user, I find it easy to navigate. I know that $0.99 isn't very much money. I am just curious to see if anyone has this app and if it is accessible with VoiceOver.

Just wondering if anyone has tried the new third party keyboard from Google called GBoard. Here is a link in the app store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/gboard-search.-gifs.-emojis/id1091700242?mt=8 I'm wondering how accessible it is and if it has any advantages over the standard keyboard that might be enjoyed by visually impaired folks. Sounds intriguing. --Pete
