Hello, I'm looking for a recording app that's good for recording quick music ideas while I'm away from my instruments. I've been using the voice memos app, but it can be a little clunky for jotting down a quick idea for a beat or a melody. Anybody have suggestions?

Hi all! Has anyone tried the write or die, my writing desk, or index card app for iPad? I can't find a demo version of either app, and I am hesitant to pay the price without knowing if it works well with VoiceOver. If not, any other writing app suggestions are welcome! I'm looking for an app that will give me good walking directions, not the same as driving directions.
Next week, I'm going to an address in my town I don't know. I put it into Google Maps and chose walking directions, but really they were driving directions. They took me around a plaza I can walk through, then winding around a bunch of streets I don't actually need to use, then crossing a major road at an intersection where there is no traffic signal. Pretty much useless.

Hi, every one! I appologize if this question was asked bf. But, are there any apps that will convert YouTube videos to MP3 on the Ipad? Ideally, I'd like to just get the URL from the YouTube video, put it into the app, then, once it's converted, download the MP3 file. If no such app exists, then what online converters do you recommend? Also, if no app exists, then, I'd be more willing to use a shortcut rather than a web site. Thank you all in advance! :-)

I'm a bit confused about the differences between GoodMaps Ex;Explore and GoodMaps Outdoors.

My impression was that GoodMaps Explore has the functionality to navigate at indoor venues (where available) and could also be used for outdoor navigation, whereas the GoodMaps Outdoors could only be used for outdoor navigation.

So my question is, why would someone install GoodMaps Outdoors if the GoodMaps Explore has both functionalities? Does the GoodMaps Outdoors app offer more flexibility or features for navigating outdoors than does the GoodMaps Explore app?

I enjoy the Goodreads app, but in the latest release, when I search for an author with a lot of books, I only get 1 pageful, then I can't get it to move to the next page. I double-tap "See more books", and nothing happens. Anyone have a solution?

I just wanted to let you guys know that we have just released a new version of the Goodreads app which is much more accessible than previous versions!

This version introduces a whole new book page with accessible details about book editions, accessible rating controls, and rating summaries that tell you the pattern of how people rated a book. We’ve also replaced the inaccessible Currently Reading controls with accessible ones, which has been broken for quite some time.

Going forward, Goodreads is going to make sure that any new features we build are accessible!

I'm having a bit of an issue with the Goodreads app on my ipad. I'm running the latest version of the app and ios. My issue is with the book recommendations section. It keeps wanting to give me a book that I'm not interested in reading, and I can't figure out how to get it to move to the next book.

Hello all!! I've got a question about the Goodreads app. I'm running the latest version of the app and the latest installment of ios. on my ipad.

I went into my recommendations in the app and tried to go into my currently reading shelf and see what the recommendations were, and Goodreads said that recommendations for the currently reading shelf were disabled. My To Read, and Read shelves work fine. How do I enable recommendations on my currently reading shelf?

Am I the only one that with Google Allo, I'm no longer able to play audio messages since the recent update to Google Allo 3.0? I'm using an iPhone 5S with iOS10.1.1 if it helps any, and the only way to play audio message is to deactivate VO, and hunt with your finger to single-tap the message. Thanks for info.

I could not get the e-mail account in my iphone by selecting gmail in add accounts.
So I had toadd manually with imap.
I want to have my Contacts from my gmail account in my ipad.
I read that I could use Exchange, but then I read that this no longer works.
is there Another way to get Everything into the ipad?

So someone recommended i try google docs which I should learn anyway for any type of employement. I've gotten it to work on the Windows side, and in an E-mail copy of something I sent to someone, it was telling me about the apps. How accessible is the app with IOS? My buddy I asked didn't have any ideas, so I'm coming to the community for further assistance. I recently got a new computer with a version of office that half works, and am looking to fix that problem but was looking at other options anyway. Thanks for any assistance.

Recently I tried to work with a google docs document using my iPhone and iPad with voiceover. I found I am unable to edit the document because I do not receive any feedback concerning key movement.
Is anyone else seeing this? I am updated to the latest version of the software.
