Ever since I updated to iOS 6, I've noticed some voiceover bugs in the Calendar app. I experienced this on both my iPhone 4 and 5. It happens whenever I create any event. After it's created I go to the month tab and find the day for the event and voiceover says, 0 events. when I double tap on that day, the event pops up at the bottom of the screen. So the event exists and it's on my calendar but voiceover doesn't seem to recognize it in the month view. Another thing is when I view the details of an event, the location is no where to be found.

Recently, i had to erase and restore my Hotmail account from my PC and my iPhone. Since that time, the calendar does not send notification. Instead, it send a mail as a reminder. I looked in the Calendar and Notification settings. All the settings seem as they were befor the erase/restore operation. When i restored the account, i asked to create as an Outlook.com account. Could it be the problem. I posted, a few minutes ago, another bug that I encounter with my mail account. Both problems could be related. Can somebody has a suggestion?

I just upgraded my iPhone 4s to IOS 9.0.1 and can no linger retrieve new or past events. I tried adding a new event and that went ok. I then tried to review the event by tapping on the day and nothing happens. I cannot see any of my events except for a "dot" on the day indicating there is something there. Any ideas?

Iʻve got a problem with my iOS 8 (iPad & iPhone) devices. The Calenadar events from a specific calendar never show on either iOS device.
The settings on iOS & OS X side seem fine. They show fine in Yosemite.

In iOS 6 my Calendar events would show up on my lock screen at the start of each day so I could see just by reading the lock screen what events I had for the day. However in iOS 7 the only way to have events show up on the lock screen automatically is to add an 'alert' to the even as you create it. Is there an app that can automatically bring all my events to the lock screen without me needing to add an alert to each event that you know of?

The Calendar app in Ios 7 is very bad. It was so much better before. Now I can not see the list with my booked activities or nothing. I have to go day by day by swiping to keep it. It's really frustrations me. There's two buttons at bottom of screen, Calendar and inbox. Both are empty. If I'm double tapping top of the screen to the left where is 2013 back, you'll find the month and years. where you also can choose month. So how can I do as easest as possible to get my activities on a line?

I miss the ios6 calendar. I've found the ios7 calendar difficult to use. Not enough contrast. Text too light.
Can anyone recommend an app that has a calendar that is easy to use and easy to see??? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

We have six members of our family sharing family membership on our iOS devices. This is the maximum Permitted. We have seven members of our family who wish to share a calendar. Is there another calendar that we can share between seven people or is there a trick around adding another person to the six?

My calendar stopped speaking awhile ago, but I didn't have time to deal w/it. Finally got around to it this morning, & called Apple Accessibility desk. The fix was to go to 'Settings > Voiceover > Screen Recognition' & deselect the calendar app. She also told me to deselect the camera app as well. Following that, we turned off screen recognition, & power cycled the phone. When it came back up, my calendar was back. I'm fairly good at this stuff, but that 1 absolutely flew under my radar.

I am looking for a calendar app that will allow me to share my calendar with my wife and see her appointments as well. At times I want to be able to schedule appointments for both of us and I want her to be able to schedule appointments for me and for both of us as well. I need the calendar app to be accessible for me and user friendly for my sighted wife. We work together in a few businesses and keeping calendars synched is becoming very important. Perhaps an app that worked well with a Google Calendar. All suggestions are welcomed.

Since the upgrade to iOS 14, I think the widget in Apple's calendar has gotten worse. Previously, you could easily see the next activity, regardless of whether it was the same day or several days in the future. Now it does not work anymore or have I missed any setting that allows you to get it that way?

Hello,

as the ioS calendar is only able to remind you of an apointment once, I'd like to have a solution that sends me two reminders: One shortly before the event and the other one the day before so that I can eventually prepare what is necessary for the apointment. Do you know of an app that provides this feature and is accessible with VoiceOver?

Thanks so much for your help!

Hey all, I'm running iOS5.0.1 on an iPhone 4 32GB, with an untethered jailbrake applied through RedSn0w. Figured the jailbreak was worth mentioning because it might give me a few more options to troubleshoot, but I haven't posted this in the JB specific forum because the issue didn't start happening as a result of installing a tweak so far as I can tell timing-wise. With VoiceOver running, the calendar will open, hang for several seconds and then close.
