using iOS 14, I tried accessing my passwords in native settings, and it claims that my passwords are empty, then I get bounced back into the main settings screen. Furthermore, I noticed, when trying to enter my password in Acorns, that it was not doing the password sound when you enter it in on the screen, but when I look at it, Voiceover is speaking what I entered out loud. Um, Okay? Anyone else noticing this?

I'm trying to activate wy fy calling on my IPhone, I'm not able to do so because the check boxes that you have to check to agree to the terms will not work with voiceover. Is there a way around this?

I have been trying to create some shortcuts on Ios 13 with the latest shortcuts app and am finding that I can't add all of the information to actions to make my shortcuts work.
For example, if I try to create a simple shortcut with one action to send a message to a contact, I cannot see how to add the message and the contact name to the action after adding it to the shortcut. I can find no actions on the Voice over rota to do this and can not find any other fields to enter this information.

I recently downloaded lire. I listened to the podcast that dealt with lire, and I went to add a subscription, and I taped on add subscription, and was put in a search box. I didn't see any catagories at all.
I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem, and could offer any advice?

I'm trying to help someone who can't adjust the speaking rate of his VoiceOver voice. He has tried restarting the phone and using different voices but the speaking rate slider has no effect on the rate of speech. We are thinking he probably needs to do a factory reset and maybe a reset all settings but before doing that I'm checking to discover if anyone has experienced a similar problem and found a fix. I know he has sought help from Apple support and they have no alternative recommendation.

Well, the so called accessibility team at facebook has done it again. I can no longer close out videos rather they are live or just in general, what is happening is when I try to close a video it just keeps toggling the video controls and the close button. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm not able to complete the checkout process via the amazon app. I can select my shipping address how ever now there's another button you have to click on that confirms that you want that address which does nothing with voiceover. A friend of mine turns vo off and taps and then turns vo back on again to get around it, however I tried it and I always end up on another screen. Does anyone know if amazon is going to fix this issue in a future update? If they are all about accessibility like people claim they are then I think they need to fix this issue asap.

I have a brand new iPhone 5 with IOS 6.2 (according to what voiceover tells me). I am unable to reach the delete button in edit mode to delete a contact. I found an earlier guide for an earlier version of IOS that gave a work-around for this, but I cannot seem to get it to work on my iPhone 5. No matter what I do, I never hear the "delete contact" button. I am a brand new iPhone user, and being about 60 years old, it seems to be a steep learning curve, ha! Also, I am brand new to posting, find navigating a little confusing, so if I get any answers to this problem, I hope I can find them!

in 18.1, for some reason, messages are not showing up as being deleted after I attempt to delete them. Now, I am using the latest beta of 18.1, so not sure if that might be an issue. But I decided to do a bit of clean up of my messages, and even though VoiceOver tells me message was deleted, and will be deleted from all devices, the bloody deleted message sthill shows up either in unred messages or all, as well as unknown and known filters. Anyone else having this issue?

So I am unable to get the Alex voice on iOS 13.5. For some reason the alex voice is just a text, it's neither a button nor dimmed, nor anything like it.
Has anything like this happened to you guys?

I use the Australian male voice or voice 1 as it's otherwise known. It is my default voice. The other day, I put my phone down and when I picked it up to use again, I found it wasn't using my preferred Australian male siri voice, it had switched to the Karen voice instead.

Hi all. upon browsing the games section of the ap directory on applevis, I came across a bopit game which looks very interesting. I went to the games section of the ap directory using the safari web browser on my IPhone5s. I clicked on the link for bopit. Now on the page where it gives the various info such as accessibility comments etc. I clicked on the ap store link. the ap store on my IPhone5s opens but all I get when I flick left and right is a share button, a wish list button and the 5 tabs: search, near me, top charts, featured and updates. I cannot find the bopit game at all.

ios 15.2.x public release, iPhone 12 pro.
- go to the app library
- search for an app using the search bar at the top of the page.
- highlight the app.
- try and do your secondary action gesture, in my case it's a quad one finger tap.
No actions appear. I have to go to the folder in question, find the app and then I can swipe up and down to edit and drag, or do my secondary action tap. I did I believe report this to apple some time last year but it has not been fixed. Can anyone reproduce, and is there a work around?

I have multiple computers, which run a variety of operating systems.
3 run Windows 11, 1 runs macOS Ventura, & 1 runs Linux Mint.
I'd like a web browser that works with & syncs across all these different platforms, so I found Brave, which is based on Chrome.
I like it, however, there's a huge problem. In the iOS app, you cannot enter anything into the address bar because its, "dimmed" according to Voiceover.
Has anyone else seen this?
What can I do, if anything, to fix this?

HI all. I would like to try out the smack me game by developer fun mobility. I went into the safari web browser on my IPhone5s. I went to the ap directory, to games. Once on the games page listing smack me I clicked on the ap store link for smack me which is https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/smack-me-lite/id306608761?mt=8 the ap store ap opens but I cannot find the game. Here is what I get in the ap store ap. At the top of the screen I have a share button. I flick right once and I get to a wish list button.

This seems only to affect automated tweets from applevis. I'm using the twitter app on my iPhone SE with iOS 15.0. I have the link verbosity set to the click sound in VoiceOver. I seem to be able to follow all other links in tweets but links in automated applevis tweets don't open. I hear the click, the word link and then part of the link address. Double tapping has no effect. I only hear the word link spoken by VoiceOver in the context of the twitter app. Links seem to be working as expected in other contexts. Any thoughts? Similar issues?
