When my IPhone5 updated twitter app to 6.0 it just didn't work as voiceover seemed not to have focus on anything regardoless of what tab you touched or message you tried to tap on. I unloaded twitter and reinstalled it and it worked with I assume the older version until it updated automatically to 6.0 again. My two questions are 1. Is there a simple work around for this? And if not, 2.

Hi all: The Twitter app is becoming less accessible with every update. I can no longer read any parts of the Search and explore page without randomly clicking on things. All attempts to report this issue to Twitter result in frustration. The process for leaving feedback or reporting bugs is so convoluted that there's just no way it isn't designed to discourage feedback. Is anyone else having this problem, and are there other apps that access this feature of Twitter? I tried Twitterific, but it doesn't have the same newsy bits as twitter.

Hi all. I'm staring with this, though any Mac users would be great too. I just key word, got back on twitter. However, the Twitteriffic and Twitter apps don't have much sounds, patriccularly not twitteriffic anymore. Does anyone use anything else now? As for the Mac, using Night Owl which hasn't beenupdated since before I moved which was three years ago. Thanks.

Hello all. I would like to kindly ask you for help. I know many people use different apps to access Twitter. I also know each client has its positives and negatives and each of us prefer something else. Would anyone be willing to compare the features of the following Twitter clients? 1. Native Twitter that comes with IOS, 2. Tweetlist, 3. Twitterrific, 4. Tweetbot, 5. any other that is accessible and easy to use. Which of the clients that have been mentioned above support Push notifications and in what way?

Hello. Running ios 12 on an iphone 6.

Summary: when I want to connect an app whether it be old or new to my twitter the connect button is dimmed.

Steps Varries with apps, but see if you can get to the authorise twitter to use x app page.

I should be able to see the connect button and have it not dimmed but it is dimmed. This is on old and new apps. I do have the twitter app installed, so how can I fix this?

Take care all. I've ben having this problem for about 2 weeks now.

After I updated to the latest IOS11, and the latest Twitter, Twitter loses my place. I read my tweets, close Twitter, and, next time I open it, I'm back where I was a couple days ago. Before the update, it would remember where I left off. Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks.

hey guys
So I use the twitter app on my i phone and i use an earlier version of the app. I have notifications set up for accounts that I want to get allerts from. My question is, if i update my twittter app, will i lose these allerts? Since I follow lots of sports teams accounts, these alerts are useful for me for quick updates

Hello all, How do notifications work with Twitter? If I turn them on would I be notified every time a new tweet is posted to my timeline? I haven't yet turned on notifications in Twitter because if this is how it works I would be getting way too many notifications. I would only like to receive notifications for certain Twitter feeds that I follow, but I don't know if that's the way notifications work in Twitter. I have Twitterrific, Tweet List Pro, and the native Twitter app on my iPhone 5S.

Hi all,

since iOS 11 hit the air, I noticed that VoiceOver doesn't announce the first username in particular conversation at the lock screen. Using iOS version 11.1 and the latest version of Twitter app.
I'm not sure where to report this issue, is it better to report thisw issue to Apple accessibility team or to Twitter app developers?
Thanks in advance for every helpful advice.
Kind regards,
Tea Turkovic

When reading an article in the Apple news app using voiceover, I find embedded Twitter posts to be a real nuisance! I like to just single finger swipe my way through the paragraphs of an article but swiping through a Twitter post and it’s numerous elements is extremely tedious. Short of three fingers scrolling down and trying to guess where the Twitter post ends seems to be the only other solution but neither of these promote a fluid, comfortable reading experience. Has anybody found good strategies for navigating past these obnoxious embedded posts?

Hi. I am using the official twitter app and having some problems. I used to just use Safari and login to the twitter website to read my tweets. However, with iOS 8 came a bunch of safari bugs including one where when you get to the end of the first page of tweets and you click the load more tweets button, it will not work. It does not matter if you double tap, double tap and hold, triple tap or stand on your head and wave your feat in the air. It stays on the first page of tweets and will not load more.

hi all, when i use twitteriffic for my iphone, i am clearing up my following list. yet, when i have supposedly, unfollowed an individual and i use the refresh command with 3 fingers the entries are still on my timeline. any hints please? i'm just trying to declutter twitter to make it a more enjoyable experience. i use ios 11,2 and an iphone 7. is indeed twitteriffic still the best client on the iphone, and consiquently yoru on the mac platform?

Does anybody know how to use the Twitter spaces feacher? I can’t find it anywhere in the new Twitter update.

I'm using the Twitter app and also the Tweetings app. When I view a tweet in the middle of the timeline and click "back" or "done" to return to the timeline, it scrolls to the top and I lose my place in the middle of the timeline. Very annoying. What am I doing wrong folks? Is there any way to make sure that when you go back to the timeline you're not automatically moved to the top?

Has anyone else noticed thhat the list of top twitter trends is no longer accessible? It says nothing when I am trying to read it with voice over. I am using the latest version of the twitter app, BTW.
