Hello all,
Is anyone here having issues with attachments in the native iOS 10 mail app?
Specifically I'm having trouble importing and exporting files from the Myway Classic GPS app. For those unfamiliar with this app it is possible to create custom routes containing a list of coordinates that can be exported/imported to another device via an email attachment. The attached file has an .plist extension.

Hello,
In iOS10 I found a new toggle under voiceover under audio called automatically switch to speaker when in call. I wonder when this feature is turned off if this will allow you to switch to speaker manually? I know some of you were wanting that feature so that's why I'm posting about it.
Straight from the top, I'm using an iPhone 6 Plus with the latest version of iOS. I've discovered a pair of bugs in iOS11 that seriously need to be fixed as soon as possible. I'm not sure if these are bugs directly related to whether or not voiceover is on on the iPhone or not, but in the past, when the first of these bugs would infrequently crop up, toggling voiceover usually fixed it. That, however, is no longer the case. Other than in text messages, it's now impossible to use a Bluetooth keyboard in any text fields.
I've noticed in ios11 under the about section it reports the compacity as the full compacity of your device instead of what's actually available. For example compacity 64 gigs, now we all know that you can't have all 64 gigs as ios itself uses some of it. Is this a bug or is this something new?
Good day, the messaging app on my Iphone 6S is playing up since upgrading to Ios11. Deleting messages has become very tricky. I have to double tap ona item a few times after selecting the delete option before something happens. It then deletes the message and also closes the app. Is there a way out of this?
regards
I recently upgraded to IOS11 from IOS10.3.
I have came across what I consider a major bug. IOS11 can't play shoutcast streams.
Under IOS10.3 and previous versions dating back to 9 I was able to play them bye typing the direct link in the address bar. The player would come up and the stream played.
Under 11 the player comes it appears to buffer the stream but there is no audio.
I called Apple tech-support about the problem and they saw the same issue. They could play the audio on IOS10 devices but not on any of the 11 devices they tried.
Hi all.
I do not know if my request is of great use, but I can see iOS12 approaching, and I was thinking about a few important features , whose accessibility has deteriorated since iOS11 and it would be important to report to Apple. I do not have the courage to register
as betatester, but I tell myself that this list of features, which is not exhaustive and could be completed by everyone, would be
good to transmit to whom of right.
What worked under iOS10.
Hello, Updated since a few days to 12 and I keep getting the warning the my IPhone capacity is used. If I go into manage settings, I see I have used 9.7 GB out of 16. So just a little more than half. why do I get this warning and how to handle it in order not to appear? It is only happening ever since the update. IPhone 6 here. Thank You
Hi all, please be kind as new to this site.
I am now trying to use Voice Control dictation to write letters, notes, emails etc.
It works reasonably well for myself, however I need to be able to read back what I have written. Anyone know how to do this? I can say "Speak Screen" but this is then the whole document and too much.
iOS contacts: Under iOS 13.1.2, I am unable to type into the “First Name” field with Voiceover enabled using “Touch Typing”. The virtual keyboard is present, but when lifting my finger off of a character, no text is spoken and the edit field is empty. Dictation also does not enter text. I am in the process of reporting this to Apple. Experiencing this on an IPhone 10S.
If you're a verizon customer you may have gotten a text saying that all calls that could be possible spam will be silenced and automatically sent to voicemail, verizon claims this is a feature of iOS14, however they seemed to have added their own filter that is different from the spam blocker that apple added in iOS13. It appears that the one verizon added can't be disabled. and if it can has anyone figured out how to do this?
I'm just curious, why isn't the focus bug in ios14 with vo jumping around marked as serious? I would consider this a serious bug. There are personally apps that I use where it's a nightmare even trying to log in because the log in screen uses html coding. Has anyone found a work around for this?
Thanks
Hi all,
Just curious how is the ios15 performance using an IPhone8? I'm waiting on some bugs to be worked out before I update and I still have an IPhone8 so was just curious how responsive it is compared to ios14?
Thanks
I don't seem to be able to enter numbers with the number keys on a bluetooth keyboard on the IOS16 calculator app. This worked with IOS15 on my old phone as if it were entering numbers into an edit field and the return key gave the result. I have a measurement tool that connects as a keyboard and used to work with it as well.
Any suggestions, even a different "free" app that works with keyboards and gives results with the return/enter key?
Hello,
I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but on the latest version of IOS, the navigate by headings option doesn't seem to work anymore. It will let me navigate down to the next heading from where ever I am, and then voiceover will just not go any further. This seems to be an issue across all apps, including the Itunes store.
Has anyone discovered a fix or work around for this behavior?
Greetings to all. May I make a suggestion? this is in o way trying to offend anyone, but how about instead of creating 1,498 different threads about iOS 16 with potential problems you are having, instead post comments on the thread that Applevis so kindly started when the operating system was released. I can't speak for everyone, but for me, I would much rather see one long thread regarding the same topic than a crazy number of posts on what amounts to the same topic, the bugs in iOS 16. Just a thought. There, I had my thought for the year; smell the ozone.
A couple nice audio features improved or introduced within iOS17. I realize they have been mentioned on other blogs/posts on Apple Vis, but I wanted to ad a few findings.
