Hi,I'm looking at getting into more audio editing on my iPhone and was wondering if there were any apps for capturing internal audio like from Safari or other apps similar to Audio Highjack on the Mac? I used that app often for grabbing sound effects and stuff from Youtube and also for capturing VOIP calls. Thanks,Jesse

Does anyone know of any accessible iOS apps that will help an adult learn to spell? I'm specifically looking for an app that starts at the very beginning but is not overly simple to the point it would discourage an adult learner. Thank you in advance for any suggestions!
Hello,
I would like to know how the audio destination setting works in iOS 9.2.3 I am trying to switch my audio destination between my made for iPhone hearing aids and the phone's speakers. The setting appears at random on the rotor and I cannot figure out the pattern. And to compound the problem, it is not even a setting to check in the Voiceover rotor settings. I wish it was available at all times.
Any idea how the iOS decides its appearance?
Thanks,
mani
I have read time and again the importance of doing a backup before installing an IOS update; but what if Apple "blows in" an update automatically without your permission? A couple of nights ago, I connected my iPhone 6 to my PC to sync it with that computer. After about an hour, I found that the IOS update was underway, and I received a warning to not close iTunes for that reason. Next morning, I was confronted with the Setup routine - not terribly difficult to accomplish, but annoying because I wasn't expecting the update and hated to take the time to do the setup.
Does anyone know of a good appp that has a good bible exhaustive christian concordance in the app store... and christian concordance? a concordance lets you look up a word or topic in the bible I think.

Hi all
What are some bugs people have seen on IOS and iPad OS. If possible, please give a brief summary of the issue and steps to reproduce.
Thanks
There is a long-shot chance this might help someone else one of these days. It might also apply to other apps, but it happens to be the native iOS calculator for me. I have a Bluetooth device--in this case, a digital caliper--that behaves like a keyboard sending the numbers of a measurement to the iPhone, followed by a return. I need Voice Over to read out the number when I send it, and the calculator does this very well.
I am a frequent diary writer but have not found an app that tracks location which I need; unfortunately not the weather. Would it work to use iOs calendar as diary
I was trying to take a picture of a wooden toolbox from a few differen angles yesterday. During this, I had to adjust things in the box, and had the VO focus on the view finder. The description changed from a wooden box with various tools to a person holding a wooden box when my hand entered the frame.
This morning, I tried to take a picture of a mockingbird performing at the top of a power pole in my backyard. I didn't have a tripod, and held the phone up near my face to aim. The zoom just wasn't powerful enough to get him, but VO certainly identified the power pole and lines, then the trees and walls and houses. Had a little difficulty holding the camera steady, and it gave me a fairly real-time description as I jostled the phone.
Hello everyone. I'm from China.
I have been using iPhone since 2012.
I really appreciate Apple's exquisite hardware and software products.
I am currently using an iPhone 14 with iOS 18.3.1.
As Apple's Chinese users, we had a terrible problem.
Since the iOS voice engine was upgraded to the Cerence version, all Chinese voices have no real high-definition optimized sound quality voice.
I just got my new 7th gen iPod touch yesterday. How do I, using a bluetooth keyboard, select text on the web, copy it to the clipboard in order to paste it into notes for reading as in speech notes, in public, off a braille display later on? I'll be using a qwerty keyboard for most of my work and sometimes a braille display keyboard. I'm sure it can be done, just not sure how since this is my second day with the latest iOS device. I know the alt key is option, and the windows key on my keyboard is the command key.
Greetings.
I am looking for an app to allow full remote control of an iOS device from another iOS device.
For example, I use an iPod Touch 6 as a music storage and playback device. I would like to be able to fully control that device from my iPhone 7.
Type a word in Notes app, select it and bring up the dictionary by selecting Lookup in the Edit roater option. The list of dictionaries and initial definitions can be read by Voiceover, but opening a particular dictionary is not giving anything except Back and Done buttons with an empty list. Is it a bug or is there something amiss? Did not notice this happening earlier before IOS 13!
I have an I Phone 7 plus still running IOS 12. In the last few days every time I touch the home screen the phone goes into edit mode and if I move my finger it changes the speaking rate of Voice Over. How do I stop this from happening? Thank you.
Hi all,
I was wondering which email app people use and like on iOS. I don't like the stock mail app because of sync issues with Gmail. I have used the Gmail app for a while, but I am having issues adding attachments to messages. It will allow me to choose from a list of recent attachments, but not from other folders (I.E. in a cloud storage account). Has anyone had experience with the Outlook app on iOS? Which other apps have worked well?
Thanks.
I'm sure there are entrepreneurial folks in this community who have used various apps for management of ideas, time, tasks and projects. I am currently taking a time management course where they suggested a huge variety of apps that we might "have a look" at.. Of course, this would doubtless send me on a wild goose chase through a fair number of inaccessible apps, which I don't have the time, or probably, even the real skill to do. So, here is a link to the place where our workshop presenter lists all of his favourite apps.
