iOS and iPadOS

Post Date:

Hi,
I was sure I read on here, when iOS six was first talked about, that it would bring dictation to the iPad 2 and the iPhone for. However, when I upgraded on Wednesday, I was disappointed to note that there didn't appear to be any dictation functionality, other than the apps I already have, for my iPad 2. If I jailbreak my iPad, can I put Siri/dictation on it?
Apologies if this is not allowed To be talked about on forum, if so, I'll go away quietly.

Hi guys, I have an iPad 2 running the latest version of iOS 6. In the App Store I have 5 pending notifications for apps to be updated. I open the App Store and find the update button on the bottom right of the ipad double tap it and nothing happens. I wait for a few minutes as sometimes it takes a few minutes for the content from the App Store to show up. Nothing happens. I've tried a soft reset and a hard reset and still nothing. I'm not sure what else to do. Anybody have suggestions? Thanks, Aaron Happy Editing

Hi everyone. I have a 32gb iPad II. Two questions seem to happen, and I wanted to know if this happens to anyone else. When i plug in the iPad to charge via the USB and Mac, I get a window that says No videos or photos found, button. This has othing to do with itunes but I think maybe the dropbox app? As soon as I close it, I'm back where I need to be but this happens every time. Again, itunes is not open because I don't do anything except put music on it via that, and back up to the Mac. Second, randomly the iPad will just loose internet connectivity.

If I install 8.2 on the above, how do you think voice over will be?

I updated my iPad 2. Already ruined by ios 8, to ios 8.3 and remain disappointed. I was hopeful when Voiceover spoke all four passcode digits but things went quickly downhill. With voiceover on the iPad keeps freezing and has to be set aside for several minutes or get a soft reset before it will work. Zoom repeatedly goes out and another soft reset is necessary to get it back. Typing in Note using on screen keyboard and Voiceover is tedious with frequent delays between my letter tap and the letter appearing on the screen.

After upgrading to iOS 7.1 I've been facing problems reading documents on an iPad 4 using VoiceOver. All of my daly materials, files and documents are stored in Dropbox. VoiceOver automatically skip lines and paragraphs after pausing the spoken text. This causes problems for me while reading a document on an iPad using Dropbox. Has any one experienced a similar issue or any accessibility bugs on an iPad after updating to iOS 7.1?

am music producer, and need to know if there are any accessible apps that can run on Ipad?
Like good Piano app to use it for tuning purposes, or any recommendation will be highly appreciated.

After IOS 18.1.1 update (from 16.7) on iPad, after asking a question, e.g. "What is the weather for the next five days" Voice Over shows the text answer visually on screen, but does not read out / speak the screen content.
Tapping on icons, gets the usual response of reading folder names etc. the problem only happens when asking questions.
Can anyone help with this issue please?
Thanks
Tom

I hope I post this in the rite form. I am now considering the IPad air, so far its not available in my region. Hopefully it will come soon, but then in the first while, stock always flow to fast and my luck might run out. I am willing to take IPad air 1 if it can run allics, and if there is a worth enough difference between the ram and processor used. I cannot find both models spex side by side to compare, any help in this matter will be appreciated.

Hello everyone.
I was wondering what you thought of the iPad Air 2 with Voiceover and split screen on iOS 9?
Thank you

Hi all,
I'm facing a strange problem on my iPad Air 2 under IOS 9.
VoiceOver does not read the letters that I type on my Belkin Bluetooth keyboard. The issue appears only in some apps like Notes. Messages for example still works fine.
In Notes VoiceOver doesn't say anything when I type letters. It also does not speak when I navigate arround with the arrow keys. The keyboard itself works because the letters which I type appear on the screen. I can use the touch screen to read my notes.

Hello Applevis! It's been a while. Long time no see, or I should say no talk. Haha. Anyway, I am going to cell my two iPad minis to purchase an Ipad which I would really love an air 2 because of the new features on IOS 9 and it's faster and lighter. My delimma is how much storage. I use my iPad for school and that's pretty much it. However I am taking a class this year called broadcast journalism and we need to create videos and such. This requires a lot of space. Also, I am only a junior in high school but when I go to college I don't want to buy another iPad.

Hello, I hope you have a nice day.
I am currently troubled by this problem for a long time. I just bought the iPad Air5 in the last two months and it comes with the m1 chip.
In order to improve my productivity, I chose to purchase the Logitech keyboard and iPad case at the Apple store when I purchased the iPad.

I know that this bug has been resolved on the iPhone, but it seems to me that the iPad still persists ...
I can not write on my iPad air.
or will I have to do some kind of configuration to solve this problem?

some tips?
cheers.

I recently acquired an iPad Air and am overall delighted with it... until I tried bluetooth connecting my BrailleNote Apex. Imagine my surprise when I find that it's unsupported! My iPod Touch can handle the Apex, why not the iPad Air???

Hi,

I recently got a new ipad and restored from a backup from my iPhone. It restored fine, however it keeps prompting me for the password to an apple id that no longer exists. Does anyone know why this might be, or how to stop it from happening?

I have an iPad Air- now using iOS 11.2.2
With iOS 10, after I had selected a SINGLE WORD,- by swiping with my finger and then selecting Speak, it would give me the choice of two languages English or French. If I then selected English - for an English word (!) , it would give me a good audible pronunciation of this word.
This useful function has worked perfectly OK since I have had my iPad air - November 2013.

Hello. I have an iPad Pro 9.7.
I love it, but I am very frustrated because I don’t want my iPad to switch to portrait mode. I have MyBabySim and stuff but I dannot play this very much because of this.

Hi there. I've slowly been fleshing out my streaming setup for music production on Mac, and there finally comes the question: how do I manage my streams? One of the possibilities I'm considering is doing it through an iPad that could read out chat messages for me, making it a little easier to read and manage stuff whilst I plink away on my midi controller. I'm using Twitch with a stream key since using my login throws up an inaccessible web view, so that leaves me without integration. I'm aware of eCamm, but I don't have the money for a subscription.

I just received a new iPad Air 2 with the included Apple SIM, and I have been unable to sign up for a T-Mobile prepaid plan.

It appears that the plan options on the T-Mobile page are not coded as links.

I have been trying to sign up for a T-Mobile promotional plan for 5GB for 5 months for $10. The plan names are on the page, but you cannot select a plan or locate a next or continue button.

I have not yet tried it with AT&T or Sprint to see if their plaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa tion pages are inaccessible as well.
