I'm having a bit of an issue with the Goodreads app on my ipad. I'm running the latest version of the app and ios. My issue is with the book recommendations section. It keeps wanting to give me a book that I'm not interested in reading, and I can't figure out how to get it to move to the next book.

I went into my recommendations in the app and tried to go into my currently reading shelf and see what the recommendations were, and Goodreads said that recommendations for the currently reading shelf were disabled. My To Read, and Read shelves work fine. How do I enable recommendations on my currently reading shelf?

Am I the only one that with Google Allo, I'm no longer able to play audio messages since the recent update to Google Allo 3.0? I'm using an iPhone 5S with iOS10.1.1 if it helps any, and the only way to play audio message is to deactivate VO, and hunt with your finger to single-tap the message. Thanks for info.

I could not get the e-mail account in my iphone by selecting gmail in add accounts.
So I had toadd manually with imap.
I want to have my Contacts from my gmail account in my ipad.
I read that I could use Exchange, but then I read that this no longer works.
is there Another way to get Everything into the ipad?

So someone recommended i try google docs which I should learn anyway for any type of employement. I've gotten it to work on the Windows side, and in an E-mail copy of something I sent to someone, it was telling me about the apps. How accessible is the app with IOS? My buddy I asked didn't have any ideas, so I'm coming to the community for further assistance. I recently got a new computer with a version of office that half works, and am looking to fix that problem but was looking at other options anyway. Thanks for any assistance.

Recently I tried to work with a google docs document using my iPhone and iPad with voiceover. I found I am unable to edit the document because I do not receive any feedback concerning key movement.
Is anyone else seeing this? I am updated to the latest version of the software.

Does anyone know how to get google docs to stop announsing things as I type? iOS typeing echo is off but it still does this.
I have no idea as to why it does this. It even does it on the web in windows and macOS as wel.
Is there a way to turn this off?
Trying to get Voice Over in google docs to read a word after it is typed and spacebar is pressed. I have characters and words chosen in Voice Over. When I press the spacebar it reads the last letter of the word, not the word I typed. What setting do I have wrong?

New version seems to have broken something. I updated today, and now I can't seem to access words or lines or anything inside the control that holds the text, editing seems to be impossible now. I just made a backup this morning, so I think I'll go back to the previous version by deleting the app and putting it back on with itunes. If anyone else uses google docs and there is an update available, be cautious.
I have been all over Applevis researching this before creating this post. For background, We produce a newsletter for Washington Council of the Blind. So staying with a format that can go between IOS and Windows, supports headings, and can easily convert to HTML or PDF is Important. Most of our documents come in as Word gfiles, so we have standardized on that format, DOCX. Some of us have chosen to do all our editing in Google Docx, on the iPhone, with a Bluetooth keyboard.

Does anyone know how to have Google Maps notify you of your location? Every other app that I use such as Apple Maps, Nearby Explorer has a really simple way of finding out where you are. I can't figure out how to do that and I like Google Maps do to the wealth of information it has on local businesses etc... Any thaughts, ideas would be appreciated. Thank you,
Hi! From the Google Maps search results sometimes you will get places with no proper street address for example with parks. Sometimes you will just get a postal/zip code and the name of the town or city.
is there a way you can get the longitude and latitude coordinates from a particular place?
