Yes, you can easily grab it from the AppStore. It's quite outdated and has some issues with speed and intonation, but as for me it still rather better than any default voice.
Hi,
This worked nicely. What are the problems with the voice? I have switched to it a minute back and can already sense the increase in speed while navigating.
This is excellent information. I have made the changes in the espeak app except that I cannot handle a speech rate of 250 so have had to slow it down. How do I get the changes to take effect? There is no apply button or anything else in the espeak app.
you do not need to press any button for changes to take affect. Simply speed it up to 250, then slow espeak down from voiceover settings. There will be no unnecessary pauses that way.

There's no critical issues, but it may slow down on some phrases and some pauses rather longer than they should be.
Solving long pauses issue
Hello,
To solve longer pauses than usual, in the espeak app, set rate to 250, ssml multiplier to 15 and word gap to 0.
