Hello all,
I am trying to find a good app for free TV streaming. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or tips.
I am playing around with Tubi and Pluto TV right now. I can't get either app to show me channel listings.
Should I give up on these two? Are there better apps you can recommend?
I have some shows on my phone with VLC, but I really want to see new content. I'm unable to afford Netflix or hulu at this time. Or any other paid TV.
Thank you for any tips or suggestions.

Hello. I am going to write a book. I would like a good writing app that works with VoiceOver where I can organize my chapters and maybe, but not nessesarely, make folders. I am planning to write a lot. I have decided to split the book in certain chapters and need an organized way to put the chapters together, using braille input on screen, wich is the fastest way for me to write. I couldn't make google documents to work. I don't know if it is accessible. I have a bluetooth keyboard that I can use if I have to. Thanks in advance. //Bree

So I'm wanting to resume my mastodon experience, but uninstalled Metatext since it hadn’t been updated in forever, thus sadly I now know from related forum posts that the developper of Metatext (my Mastodon app of choice since I joined mid2022) thus I'm using the Official Mastodon app which isn't that bad (except for the need to scroll back to where I was within the Home Tab since after a few right-swipes the VoiceOver focus jumps way down within the TimeLine!

Hi I download the freebird app but I can't llink my bank account. can somebody help out I appreciated and also the app is not so blind friendly

Hi all. I was looking at the freebird app. I hesitate to use it for the following reason. When I search for an address, I can find it easily. when I click on pickup, of course it wants me to confirm. The text field is poorly labeled, and so even if I put in my correct address, how will i know Lyft will actually come to my correct apartment? I know this uses Lyft, and it is the adress, written clearly there. Can anyone indentify that even though the interface of Freebird is wonky, it is still able to be used?

Hello, Applevis. I'm trying to go through and free up a little space on my phone where possible. Specificly, I'm trying to use the screen under settings, general, usage, manage storage. It claims I have 486 MB in photos, but I can't figure out how to clear that out; in reality, I have no photos at all. I deleted them all, but it still says the 486 MB is being used. Similarly, under the audible app, it says that there is 11 MB of data, which I know isn't much, but there used to be a way to just clear the data without deleting apps.

Hey freelancing fam, I'm in desperate need of some financial sanity. You know the drill: clients pre-pay, send top-ups during projects, and sometimes even need the occasional refund. And tracking it all? Let's just say my Excel spreadsheet is weeping silent tears of frustration on my iPhone.
I'm on the hunt for a magical app that can handle the money mayhem:
• Record payments, withdrawals, and remaining balances with ease. No more squinting at formulas or wondering if that decimal point is in the right place.

Hello everyone,

Since I updated to iOS 18, the option to adjust the volume using the rotor no longer works. I have to go into the VoiceOver speech settings to change the voice volume I use. It's strange because on another iPhone, it still seems to work normally. The issue is with my phone, but I can't figure out what's wrong. Knowing that after migrating from my iPhone 11 Pro to an iPhone 16 Pro, the problem is still there.
Any ideas before I try to reset the VoiceOver settings?

Thank you.

Hi there.
I'm looking for a nice tool (app) to convert imperial units to metric and vice versa.
I really hope it also includes converting between Fahrenheit and Celsius and Celsius to Fahrenheit.
Imperial units, lbs, feet, inches etc makes no sense to me and temperatures in Fahrenheit makes me go mad :-)
Hahahaha!
Such an app would be very handy while communicating with people that don't understand the metric system.
The app needs to be VoiceOver friendly of course.

This is a bit of a strange one that I've not heard anybody else mention experiencing the same or something similar. But, as it's now been driving me crazy for a few months, I figure that I should share here just in case there is in fact somebody else experiencing the same.

The issue is that when listening to audio through any of my wireless headphones, the volume level of the audio will often be lower than it should be.

Specifically, although the volume level may be set at 40%, the level I hear is actually at about what you would expect if it were 20%.

Hi all
While navigating through text in Pages I noticed an odd behaviour. VoiceOver sometimes skips a line, specifically when you navigate up to the previous line then scroll down to the next. It is happening either I use the QuickNav and navigate using the rotor or with QuickNav off and navigate using the arrows. Notes app also acts the same.
This is on the latest iOS and on the iPad. It happens with both BT keyboard and with touch gestures.
Thanks for any tips.

Hey guys.
I hope everything is going well.
So, I'm sure many of you are familiar with the Elevenlabs reader on both IOS and Android.
It's a great alternative to apps like Voice Dream Reader, as it offers pretty natural sounding voices to read with at no cost.
Firstly, I'd like to state that I'm not feeling entitled to anything, especially since they're offering this for free, but I am beginning to get frustrated with what I perceive to be a lack of interest from the developers to make the experience better.

Hi.

Does anyone know of an app that will let you browse ftp links? For example, you get an email that contains an ftp link. You can't access it with safari because you get an error message stating that the website could not load any data. Is there an accessible app that will allow you to browse these links?
Thanks. ☺️

Hello to all of you guys! I was wondering if their is any ftp clients for the iPhone and iPod touch? Please let me know! Sincerely Jose Lomeli.

Hello everyone,
I am just wondering if there are any decent apps out there for FTP for the iPad, similar to Filezilla on Windows. So, on a daily basis, I need to download files from one server, then upload them to another. I can do it with NVDA remote but it’s a bit slow I feel. Just wondering if there is a better way.

So,

I was wondering how many folks on here have tried using said new feature mentioned above.

For those who haven't looked at said setting yet, it's mainly another set of commands that can be used to do many things by using an external keyboard, the way you wish to do them.
