I saw Evermusic listed in this month's notable apps, but I cannot find anything else about this app on the site. It's not listed in the app directory. Does anyone know anything about this app? I can't get past the first screen.
I love Evernote so much. Based on what I've read, it's getting more accessable. I've figured out a very long but ok workaround to the inability to edit body text thing, but I can't figure out how to remove a tag from a note. As an example: let's say I've saved a link, and I give it the coding tag. Oops, I accidentally tapped cooking tag. I go ahead and add the correct coding tag, but... how do I remove cooking? I had a sighted person do it their way, and I could not translate that to a way to do it with VoiceOver.
every time I go to the top of my I pad air third generation.it says orientation locked and it all so says image after it. is it normal?
AYES is a company that uses artificial intelligence to create software that assists blind and visually impaired users on their walks. The first version of their app, OKO, is now live in the Benelux.
OKO uses artificial intelligence to recognise the pedestrian traffic light, or pead head. We bring the walk or don’t walk information back to the user through audio and haptic cues. OKO is closely co-developed by blind and visually impaired users, making the application very accessible and easy to use.
Hi all. I was using smart news until the last update. Although I can still use the app, I just don't like the layout. So I was wondering what is everybody's favorite news app to get both breaking news and your local news? Thanks.
Hi there!
So, when I get a notification, a text for example, my iPhone and iPad both speak. For texts, they say something like: "Messages, message from 234-567-8910, or from (contact name)". Is there a way to get notifications without announcing to the world that I got a message from Bill? If my phone is in the dark, IE in my pocket, and if the iPad is in a closed case, I just want to hear the notification sound. I can look at the notification when time and/or environment allows.
I am having trouble using the iOS version of Microsoft Excel on my iPhone with VoiceOver. I have a good understanding of Excel on a PC using JAWS, but on iOS on the iPhone with VO is difficult to master. I am basically having difficulty in maneuvering from cell to cell with swipe gestures. I can only go so far across a row and then I go to the beginning of the next row. I also can't seem to move vertically through a column. Can anyone give me some basic instructions on how to do this? Also, is there a tutorial anywhere on how to use Excel in iOS on the iPhone and using VO?

It’s an incredibly exciting day for Be My Eyes and the V I community. Be My AI is today moving into an open beta cycle and will be massively expanding its availability over the coming days for iPhone users.
Hello everyone. I know I haven't been posting here for quite some time. I got my first iPhone a year ago, and even though I said I'd be posting a lot of questions, I didn't post on here as much as I thought I would. But now I've run into a litle problem.
I know this is probably a really obvious question, and considering I've been using Apple products for close to a decade, you'd think I'd know the answer, but I don't. So I'm asking, in the native mail app, how can you expand a thread reading with Voiceover? I swear I used to know how to do this, but it eludes me right now. Is there any other tips anyone might have for using the native mail app, besides not using it?
Thanks.
I sent the below message to [email protected] two days ago and, as yet, only an auto-reply acknowledging receipt. Are others experiencing problems? I'm using an iPhone X with the latest IOS.
Hi everyone!
I just applied for NLS, so hoping to get an account with Bard pretty soon. I've really gotten into audiobooks over the past year and now listen to them exclusively.
I'm just curious and wanting to hear from those who use it regularly. What's the book selection like?
Thanks for any info!
Hi all,
I'm considering getting a bluetooth keyboard to use with my iPhone and hopefully a PC a bit later down the line. Thanks to an excellent review here, I'm thinking the keys to go keyboard from logitech might be the way to go for me. Too bad I can't get my hands on one to see it first though.
I was wondering if anyone has experience with accessible q r code readers. My wife and I just bought an accessible apples to apples card game; the cards have braille on them, but there is extra info for each card that you can only get by scanning a q r code. Any experiences or app recommendations would be very much appreciated.
