I follow lots of publications on Facebook (NPR, Rolling Stone, Forbes, etc) that frequently post articles to the feed. Lately if such a source shares several articles in a short period of time, Facebook groups them into one item that VoiceOver announces as something like, "Rolling Stone shared 15 updates." Double tapping on this does nothing, but I can't single finger swipe up or down to get to the "view 14 more" action, and activating this takes you into the cluster of posts where you can read through and interact with them as normal.

Hello all,
Yesterday I changed my primary email on Facebook as well I changed my password. Now no matter what I do I am unable to sign in to the facebook app on my iPhone. I have powered off and on my phone. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I know i am putting in my information correctly. When I use my information on the browser on my PC I can log in just fine. What can I do to try and fix this problem? Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi, the facebook app doesn't play any sounds when new notifications come in, even when the play sound option is enabled. Does anyone know why?

This is my first post on appleVis's forum. I have a question about the facebook app for iOS:
for VO users, when your friend post something that in another languages beside English, how do you click the see translation thingy? when Vo reading through statuses, or posts, I heard it says "see translation", but I'm unable to click it. is there away to click this button?

Hey everyone. I can't figure out why this happens, so i'd really like some answers if you have them. I was on Facebook, and I double tapped on something. After that, it said the item was selected. Swiping around, I found Hide this from newsfeed, unfollow, name of person, I don't want to see this. Now, I close then relaunch the app to dismiss this, but my question is how do I get rid of that dialog? I didn't want to say I din't want to see this, in case it blocked family or friends that yes, I didn't mind the poster. Anyway if this makes sense or you know how to help, please advise. Thanks.

Hey. I would like to rant about the Facebook app. First of all, when new updates come out, it doesn't tell you what's new. It just says, "Thanks for using Facebook," and other stuff. We have to learn about what's new in the app. Also, there is new bugs in the app. Still, I can't switch cameras before starting a livestream. It is stuck on rear camera active. If you have any comments, comment down below. There is a blind engineer working at Facebook. Come on!!!!!!!! Fix the app.

Besides vo saying product after each post which we all know about I am having an issue where I'll be scrolling through my newsfeed and all of the sudden I will be back at the top of my newsfeed again. Anyone else having this issue or know of a fix?

Hi. I was browsing the facebook appfor a while. The native facebook app is somewhat accessible. The only problem I think everyone is agreeing on is that the friends part of the app is not accessible. When you flick or swipe left or right after double tapping on the friends icon in the launcher, voiceOver doesn't speak any of your friend's names. It makes the click sounds but nothing speaks. This can be a problem when you have over 200+ friends. I contacted the facebook help team but they didn't resolve the issue. I don't know what to do.

V309 of FB has just come out in the UK for me and it fixes the back button. Works perfect again.

I have a question about Facebook birthdays. I went to find them in the events section, & I cannot find them. I've looked everywhere I could think to look, & still can't find them. Usually I get them through notifications, but I decided to take care of them before I went to bed. Can you please tell me where they are (if they're even still there)? Thanks in advance!

I don't remember if this issue has already been discussed here, but I am noticing that visually impaired people in my Facebook contacts, are missing information I publish from my personal web site, on my profile and Facebook page, because my posts are intercepted as blank lines not even clickable.
This happens when posts are external link pointing to my WordPress site.
Do you please have any suggestion for a work-around for this issue?

Has anybody noticed Facebook has dictation issues when composing comments where it duplicates your phrases and puts them randomly places causing your comment to be very messy and your friends to have a wow reaction? I know I have. It’s quite annoying and I would like to learn how to become a beta tester so I can bring this to Facebook attention

Having trouble with check in feature on FB app. It brings up all the places fine but I am unable to add friends I am with?? It basically acts as though I have no friends listed... Is there a setting preventing this?? I searched through the settings and nothing. My wife has the same phone and no prob!!

Hi everyone. I've noticed recently that my 32gb iPhone4 I can open the facebook app once, to check things like notifications, of which I have to look because they don't get pushed into the notification center. But if I hear, Facebook, two new items, I click it and it takes a few minutes, then it does the sound like the app is closed, and that's it. I don't know if this happens on anyone else's devices. And if I click the app switcher, it's sitting in there.

For a long time now when dictating iPhone on Facebook, and it only seems to happen on Facebook, when you finish dictating Facebook seems to insert an attachment. I've never worked out what the attachment is. If you don't remember to delete it, when you read back the message full message Facebook puts a number at the end which I assume is the number of attachments it has added. Does anybody know what these attachments are, or how to avoid them?

Any iPad users having trouble with facebook for iPad? Basically i cant write statuses or wall posts. Everytime i double tap on the button, itvjus makes this sound an doesnt bring up the keyboard. Have tried installing the app again and it lets me write axstatus, but if i cancell my status, then i cant write another one :(
Does anyone else have this problem? Or does anyone have a solution?

Hi all,
I have, ever since the latest facebook upgrade, been unable to edit or modify my friends lists. Previously, I was able to click on a friend's profile, click the friends button, and select the lists I wished for them to be a member of.
Now, however, when I attempt to do the same thing, I click on the friends list and all I get is the option to unfriend them. Is there a way I might be able to rectify this either through facebook or through another facebook client?
