Either I've just not realized these buttons were there, or they are new. The first one seems to be a channel or show description button of some type. It shows up between go to live and volume. The other one is to the left of categories. I can't figure out what it is for because nothing seems to change on the screen when I double tap it. I want to help a friend label the buttons, but I don't want to tell him the first button is categories when I have this phantom button here that could completely throw off the order. Can anyone help?

Hello,
Does anyone know an App that can extract Audio from videos on your iPhone that is accessible?
I tried to setup the built in Shortcut App, it doesn't work with Voiceover, same thing with Audio Converter from the App store
Thanks
So, I'm not in a situation where I now need to do this, thank god, as much as this is more just an FYI question I have out of curiosity.
As of the past couple weeks, Iβve been experiencing really strange behavior while trying to use the Messenger app on my iPhone SE 2022. Itβs hard to explain, but say youβve got a chat pulled up and you are touching the Messages list to try to read Through the conversation. Itβs like it will start reading from an earlier point in the conversation and then just continue reading each successive message after that, and it will not stop. If you touch elsewhere on the screen it will just read whatever the next message was going to be.
As of late, I've really been frustrated with speech central. Every time I try to use it, I run into the same problem. My book library is pretty extensive, over 123 books. Every time I try importing my library, the following always happens. some files never get imported, requiring me to reimport the files manually, which never works. While at first the books seem to get imported after I manually have to import them and they show up in my library, whenever I relaunch the app, and come back to it, it they aren't there. As an example. As I said, my library has 123 books.
Hi,
I'm looking for a no frills GPS app that will simply play a sound when I get within a certain specified distance of an address I specify.
I don't want to have to constantly watch where I am when I'm on the bus, I'd much rather listen to music and just have an alert pop up when I get within a mile of my house for example.
Is there an app that will do this?
Hi,
I got my brand new SE 2020 as an early Christmas gift, it's perfect, since my 8 was conking out on me. Anyway, I hadn't updated the 8 to iOs 15, but the SE 2020 came with 15 on it. I notice a weird storage bug in the files app. I have a 64 gb model, but when I go into the files app under on my iPhone on the SE 2020, it says I have 90 gb available. How is that possible? Neither this phone nor the iPhone 8 from which I restored the backup were more than 64 gb. Is this misreporting of size a bug with the files app in iOs 15?
Thanks

Good news! Now you can join the private beta testing group of EyeSense. A new sight companion designed for the blind and low sighted. You can teach EyeSense faces or family and friends, and also any object you would like the app to identify. If you are an iphone user with iOS 11, you can request to join from this Private Beta Link. http://bit.ly/2FnqgxJ
Hi,
Did one of you tried the free EyeSpy app https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/eyespy/id938516167?mt=8?
The developers claim it is the best object recognition App available.
I tried the App, but can not do anything with it. After installing the App I come into a screen with first two buttons unlabeled and after that I can do some camera settings.
I am new to face book. Which app will be easiest to to read and respond to posts? I am not interested in inapp purchases.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips and tricks to make Face ID easier and, indeed, more convenient for us blind folk to use. I understand that it probably will never compare to Touch ID, but Iβd at least like to be able to get closer, if I can, to that level of accessibility, convenience and efficiency.
Using 12 pro and iOS 15.4. Yesterday night for some reason face ID stop working. Did restart and nothing. I reset face ID to create new face ID and nothing. Now when I go to face ID and password, face create face ID and go to start, I get message How to set up face ID, First possission your face within the phrame. Nothing happen. I setup face ID in the past but this is not working. Before camera told me to move face or whatever. Nothing now. The message does not change and the camera does not give me prumpts.
hey everyone, like I stated last night in my photos with voiceover question I got my iphone xr on friday march 1, and I got my face id set up for apple pay. my question is can you all give me some tips on how to unlock my phone with my face every time successfully with out it saying try again, especially when I go to atm's to get money or use it with apple pay in a store/ I've used this in the app store, and it's a bit tricky, but I'm slowly getting use to it and like it over the fingerprint tech apple had in the other phones.
If VO users have difficulties with FaceID or Personalize Spatial Audio enrollment, Apple Accessibility phone support can ask you to screen share and guide a user remotely which way to move device or head. I just did it out of curiosity and it was more effective and efficient than when I've done it on my own.
I just tried to add a face ID with a mask, but it didn't work. I held my arm out as far as it would go, moved it in, moved it back out again, held it until it ached, but nothing happened except for one little blip, which I thought meant I was on the right track, but then nothing more, not a word from Voiceover. Is there any other way I can get this face ID set up? I'm not ready to remove my mask yet, so I really wanted this.
Hello, I'm interested in experiences with Face ID On iPhone for people with prosthetic eyes. I've read Apple's page on the subject but I'd be more interested in the real world experience of using this technology. Do you have to turn off the "attention" setting to make it work effectively?
I understand that the current use of masks would also affect its use but I would be keen to hear from anyone who has had good or bad experiences.
Thanks.
Mark
Hi
Given the recent news on the iPhone front, I'm curious to know how face ID will work for blind people, particularly the part about looking at the iPhone. Do any of you use facial recognition apps? What are your thoughts?
Given Apple's track record in accessibility, I'm sure they've got it figured out. I'm just curious about people's experiences.
Best
