I live in Kansas city Missouri and I was wondering if anyone knew of an app, free or paid, that would give me accurate weather. I currently have the weather channel app but when it comes to alerts such as pollen alerts, it doesn't give me those alerts for my location. It decides to give me alerts for Shawnee Kansas. Really? I live there and I have specifically told this app that I live in Kansas city Missouri? Confused here! I have tried to e-mail they're support team and all I've gotten is an automated reply saying that they'll get back to me.

I wonder if anybody else has experienced this situation. I was attempting to buy Weather Gods. For some reason known only to apple, I was told that my credit card was expiring and to update my payment. Aple was wrong my credit card was not about to expire. I updated it on the app store screen and it still wouldn't take the update. I went into settings and into the app store settings for payment and chose the expiration date all over again for my credit card. the phone accepted it this time despite the fact that it was the same one I had put in all along.

I am using an iPhone 12 running IOS 18.2 and this issue did happen sometime back when I was on IOS 17. On the locked screen if you ask Siri to call or text someone using Whatsapp. you would get a response from Siri that says "Something went wrong"
While I was writing this post, I came across a help article that said if you have Face ID enabled on Whatsapp. you will get such a message. Ironically I had Face ID ON for Whatsapp. and turning it off from the settings helped. I can now make calls and send text messages from the locked screen using Siri

I think it's annoying that you have a subscription and just can't pay all together. So, what do you use and how they work for you.

Perhaps this is not a news for some, but I just discovered that it is possible to send an email in the Mail app by pressing cmd+shift+D (when using an external keyboard). This works exactly the same way as on Mac OS.
Unfortunately, none of the other keystrokes I tried worked though.

In researching whether the Nest Thermostat would work with SIRI, I came across this App, Thermo Watch. I've never seen this app referred to on Applevis but of course could have missed it. It's one of the greatest apps I've come across if you have or are considering a nest thermostat. Because Nest is owned by Google, it doesn't appear that they will ever make their app work with SIRI. But, thermo watch, as a third party app, does it for you.

I purchased THings 3 on Iphone, and decided that it will replace my Reminders and calendar app on my Iphone, but this is not so helpful like what they said.
- Accessibility is not the best, specially in Dragging reminders etc.
- It is not possible to create or edit calendar events, they will be displayed inside your today's view etc, but you should edit them from the calendar app, so same as Ios, you will open your 2 apps to edit somethings.

I've had an iPhone SE 2020 since shortly after it came out. Not as nice as the original SE, but still, I loved the home button and the slim and trim iPhone 8 form factor.
Unfortunately, with iOS 17, it started to develop serious problems. One was that back-to-back SIRI requests never worked. Another was that the player controls in the redesigned native Podcasts app could not be found by dragging around the screen. I could swipe right to them, and I could find them with screen recognition, but they were invisible to a default finger drag.

I'm having a couple of porblemson my iPhone se2020, and I'm considering blowing it up and starting over. The first problem is the app library popping up all the time. This is an old one, but I just got it. I even updated to the latest public beta hoping to make it go away, but no such luck. The second problem is that the CNBC app hasn't worked right in several months, and I'd like to have it back; it works fine on my old phone, and I can't find any complaints about it on newer IOS versions, so I'm pretty sure it is just me.

This is on an iPhone8 with 13.5.1 but noticed it in 13.5 as well. After you dictate something, voiceover will start to read back what you dictated, however the voice will faid out rather quickly. Restarting the phone will fix this temporarily.

I think my iPhone 8 is pooping out, it restarted in the middle of a call today, and the battery life is going down the tubes. I have an old iPhone 7 that I use as an iPod for Bitlife and such. I can't get an SE 2020 until November due to budget, so can I swap sims so I don't have to limp through the next couple weeks?
