I have an iPad pro 9.7. I sometimes get the message sound when I send it and sometimes I have to restart the iPad to actually get it working. Yes, the messages send and recieve, because I tried texting my friend under those occations but she got the text just fine. I am just not sure if the message has succeeded. This is a small problem, however. Just curious of why this happens.

Hey guys. I keep getting a message when I log into apps that says this password has appeared in a data leak. Is this someone trying to get into my phone or something, or is it a legitimate message? Should I listen to my phone and get it to change the passwords?

Has anyone experienced any freezing problems on the iPhone 5s in the messages app? Whenever I am at a text field to type a message, the phone seems to freeze for 5-10 seconds when I double tap the text field to type in it. Has anyone had the same issue? If so, how can I fix this?

I feel that the way text mesages are handled in iOS 16 has taken us a step backward. I am using Voiceover on an iPhone XR.
1. First the good. Nice that when one is in the Messages app in the list of messages, one of the context menu items (flicking up/down with one finger) is "mark as read" or "mark as unread". I've waited for this feature for a long time.

I'm having the most infuriating issue, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or can suggest any way of stopping it? Occasionally, for no reason I can pin down, people tell me that text messages I send them are being sent in Chinese characters, not English. I do not have Chinese as a language on my phone, and I can't figure out any pattern for when or why this is happening. Needless to say, it's driving me nuts.

Hey Everyone,
Since upgrading to iOS 16 I have noticed a few issues between devices. I have an iPhone 8 and iPhone SE. This post is for the iPhone SE 2022. On the Lock Screen, when I double tap the messages notification that I want to open to respond to it slides to the right and displays an open button but voiceover cannot read or recognize the button. Instead of having to unlock my device and either have Siri read the message to me or open the messages app manually. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi, I am having a problem where I get a message and my notifications are set on banners. My phone dings when it's locked and on my old phone I would unlock it and the message would flash up as a banner, but on my new phone it doesn't flash up when I unlock the phone. Any reason for this.

Hi all, not sure where this would go since it involves both the Mac and phone. I added a huge folder of audio books to my library, just add to library, done. As i went hunting through, I noticed, though in order in the folder, in the music app and on itunes it wasn't. Besides the audio wasn't as good as I wanted to have it, so I thought i oculd delete it. Here's my mistake, I went in to the folder itself, deleted it from the itunes on the mac, then synced the phone only to have it still there both in the iTunes library and the phone.

Has anyone else experienced the facebook messenger app being annoying? I have been having trouble with it, when I begin typing the focus jumps to older conversations and I can’t type my messenge anymore. Its weird, the back button disappears and I need to double tap roughly where the button would be to jump out of the message and go back in to type again. Is there a fix or is this something new for just me :)

My friend sent me an audio message in Messenger. Couldn’t play it, and it failed the second time it was sent as well. I could play it through the website on my PC. Anyone else who uses Voiceover found this problem? Wishing you all a nice day!

Hello all,
I have a quick question about the messenger app. Spicifically it's ringtone. Is there a way to change it to another tone (spicifically the one that sounds when you receive a message) to a different tone? I'm only asking because while I like the sound, both my parents as well as I have Messenger. So it would be nice to change it to the tone to something different so that I know when it's mine going off Vs. my parents devices.

The current bug that we’ve had from the previous issue with the messenger app where it would read the whole entirety of the Fred seems to have gone and when you use your finger to go to the right hand side of the screen towards the bottom it now brings up the send like button. Let’s hope they fixed it but it seems like it to me. Muc as I’m quite cynical about these things, I’m sure it’ll reappear again in the future. But for now, it seems to be fixed.

Has anyone figured out how to use the redesigned Meta View app?
The thing that clued me into the change was that my glasses have stopped notifying me when a text comes in. I hear a chime, but Meta no longer gives me the option to read it. So I opened the app, and it's a complete redesign. I can't even find settings anymore to check and make sure announce texts is still enabled.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have a lot of cartoons that I put on my phone recently. They're all disorganized though, and I'm trying to find a way to edit the tags. Like title, and season, episode number, that kind of thing. I tried using ITunes, but it keeps freezing, and crashing. Then a dialogue box comes up saying "ITunes has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution...." blah blah blah. Does anyone know how I can edit all this info with some JAWS friendly software? I am running Windows Seven.

Currently I'm using MetaText on iOS 16 on an iPhone 12 mini to interact with mastodon, What I'm finding is that I can get notifications of follow requests but there doesn't seem to be a way to accept or decline the follow requests does anybody know if there is a way to accept or decline mastodon follow requests with MettaText? and acording to the reply I recieved from my comment, it's been recorded on an iPhone 14 Pro max.
I have an iPhone SE 3rd, gen, and can only get mono when recording video.
I can't go to control centre when in the camera app because it takes up the entire screen and there is no status bar.
Can anyone give me more info about the wide spectrem mode, how it works, whether the SE 3 even has the same number of Omni mics as the 14 pro max.

Hi all,
Since all of my classes are online (using WebX, Zoom, etc) this semester, I noticed one problem is that, at times, my mic would be unmuted without me knowing it. I think this happened to me around once or twice, possibly even more.
So, I have a question, Does VO magic tap gesture unmutes my mic, even though I'm inside another app, especially when I try to use dictation? If so, is there a way that I can use dictation without having my mic in the online class being unmuted?
