Our calendar app has always received high praise for its accessability and VoiceOver features.
The natural and simple way of presenting days and events in Month Calendar is particularly useful for VoiceOver users. Something that was brought to our attention early from users and we have since taken great care to support accessability features in the app.
We just released a major update to the app so I felt this was the right time to reach out.
About a month and a half ago we posted about our calendar app, Month Calendar.
We got some amazing feedback.
And two of the requests have made their way into our new update released last week. We have added information about moon phases and week number to the VoiceOver. Week number is just read on the first day of the week.
You can control whether to get it in the Month Calendar settings in the 'Sun and Moon' and 'Appearance' sections.
hello everyone! I want to ask you a question, can't we ask apple to add mor voices for Indian languages? Like Gujarati.
I know we have 2 Hindi voices, but they are Not quite good. thanks in advance! glory to the apple! apple ki jay! in hindi.
I am determined to get used to my mac. One thing I've noticed, is that there seems to be activity running in the background and I can't figure out how to figure out what's running or to stop it from doing whatever it's doing. For example, I think it's trying to update. When I went on the app store, it says three updates available. But when I push command tab, there are no apps running. My arrow keys and tab key aren't working all the time. I have to keep trying to interact with things so that I can scroll through them.
We just released Blindfold Sudoku on a 9x9 grid and Blindfold Sudoku Mini on a 4x4 grid. Both apps are free. come with a bunch of puzzles, with an in-app upgrade for more puzzles. Sudoku Mini is great for people getting started with Sudoku, and you can change it from numbers to animal names to animal sounds.
Thanks to all of the testers who helped refine the game.
Hello. I'm totally new to this forum. I'm from South Africa and planning to buy an iPhone which I can use as a blind user. Which phones are accessable for us? And what does ios stands for? I'm looking forward to your reply. Kind regards, Morne
Hi. I just backed up my 8+ and put my 12 in to restore from the backup. It tells me find my has to be turned off on the phone. I looked at the old one and it is. Can anyone help? No one did last time. thx
I have been having many problems with the new Overcast version and am using an iPhone 15 with the latest updates. The biggest and most annoying problem for me is that I can't keep my podcasts in alphabetical order in the playlist as I did before. I have gone into the playlist settings and changed the setting from ranked to grouped and back again with no difference; and I have all of my podcasts listed as high priority, just like I always did. The order is completely random. I have the setting also selected for arranging from oldest to newest by podcast.
Anyone know if there is a more recent podcast on the Clew app? The only one I see on here is one from 2019 and I’m sure that the app has gone through updates since then.

Hi all,
Just curious which banking apps people have found to be the most accessible. In particular, I'm fascinated by the ability of some apps to allow voiceover users to independently line up a check and take a picture for deposit.
I'm currently considering Ally bank. Has anyone had experience with them? I've also heard good things from people about Bank of America, though Ally's APY rates are much better.
Thanks,

I'm looking for the most accessible Reddit app. Currently using Bacon Reader and it's okay, but is there any app that allows you to more quickly navigate between topics? It can get tedious with large sub-reddits that are very active.
Hello, Sorry for late bringing this issue, but after I update my iPhone 7 to iOS 12 last September most of my apps not working as expected. For example in appstore I supposed to update all my available apps but it's stop working, it happens every apps I open like overcast, IFTTT, apple Store and so on. What I do is bringing the appSwitcher then close that app and run again it will work again as ok. It occur everyday after this iOS 12, I expect this bug solve after updating to iOS 12.1 but found no luck. Anyone experiencing same issue? if so how do you solve it?
Hi,
I absolutely love listening to podcasts! As a matter of fact, I have over 200 subscriptions.
As a result, I am seeking the most popular app, that works on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and windows. I’ve been using Pocket Casts, which also works with Amazon Alexa, but this morning, as well as previously, I’ve gotten storage full warning messages. Other apps, such as overcast, drain my battery extremely quickly.
I haven't tried to use OCR on my phone for a while,, other than really basic stuff. When I tried to scan two pages of a book today with my old KNFB reader, I discovered that it doesn't play nicely unless you are using Samantha in IOS 14.5, and even then it isn't all that great anymore. It looks like they stopped supporting this one a long time ago, switched to an enterprise version, and I can't even tell if that is currently supported.
I see several QR apps listed on this site. Am trying to find the most versatile app to use to scan badges at CSUN. I do not want results sent to my contacts. I want them sent to a file that would just contain the information from the scanned badges. I will keep playing with different apps but just curious about the experiences of others. Thanks.
Hi All, I just got my new iPhone 5S and am looking for apps to use with the new M7 motion tracking chip feature. I have just downloaded Pedometer++ which is good though very basic but is at least VoiceOver accessible. The Nike+ Move app doesn't seem to be available in my region. I also tried one of the Runtastic apps but there are unlabelled elements all over the place! Any recommendations? I'd like one that will track cycling as well as walking and running.
Thanks.
