I have an iPhone XR. I am using iOS 13.3. Since the iOS 13 update my phone has been pronouncing the date 2020 and inserting the word inches after it. My wife has an iPhone XS and it doesn’t do it on that. I haven’t found anyone else yet whose phone does this. Does anyone know how I can cure this problem especially as next year will be 2020, without the inches. It’s going to be really annoying. I’ve experimented with other dates and it doesn’t do it.

Hi,
Having read that custom ringtones were supposed to be available again in the 17.1 update, I was very disappointed to find that mine don't appear to be there even though in files it says they are on my iPhone. I've tried importing them back in to music on my Mac then re-sinking the phone to the Mac but no joy. So I tried air dropping the files over and all this did was to make another copy of the files. I also did a soft re-boot of the phone in case the problem was a caching issue but again nothing.
Does anyone have any more ideas I could try?

Yesterday before I updated to IOS 17 I had Elequence on my iPhone 13 but, after I updated, I do not see it there anymore. Is there a way to get it back? Or could this be a bug? Thanks for any help.

Over the last couple of days, I've discovered the removal of a feature in Blind Square. The last time I used it before yesterday, less than a week ago, there was still a tickbox to enable automatic Foursquare checkins. When I used it again yesterday, the tickbox was gone, and I found nowhere in the app that allows you to contact the app developer to ask if the removal of the tickbox was on purpose or if it's simply a problem with Voiceover not seeing the tickbox and therefore not reading it.

I noticed there is no keyboard command for a double tap and hold toggle. On some buttons like the record button in messages, and whatsapp, you have to double tap, hold, record the message, take your finger off the touch screen. But there is no way to do this with keyboards like orbit reader20 display or, orbit writer. So could all of you write to apple accessibility and request a double tap and hold toggle for keyboards? This may be useful for students who need to record for some reason and want to keep their hands on whatever keyboard they are using.

I remember an operating-system release or two ago that iOS devices had a number next to app icons indicating the app in question had an update. I used to see things like "Settings 1," "App Store 4," etc., or something very similar. I found out this past week that I'm not finding those things present any more because it seemed everybody had their iOS 8.2 update but me. Here I was, waiting for "Settings" to show "1 new item", and it never did.

We have discovered that VO and Siri fail to read several words after the phrase Charles de Gaulle!
This is reproducible on all our iPhones (approx. 12) except for one iPhone 4s.
For example: Charles de Gaulle won't be read. This reads as just 'Charles de Gaulle'.
This probably sounds like a practical joke if you're reading this using VO, but I can assure you it is real.
Has anyone got any other examples of this happening? Or know if a Radar has been filed already?

Hello all.
My fitbit app has recently updated but there are missing tiles. The callories, distance, active minutes and floors have disappeared and the steps tile is an unlabeled button. Every other tile is there apart from the ones mentioned but they are available on the website.
I have upgraded to ios 15 in case that was what the problem was but this hasn’t helped. Has anyone else had this problem? I have contacted fitbit but they aren’t too helpful.

I am at a loss. What do you do when you are missing ring tones from your phone, and they aren't in your library on your PC? They seemed to have disappeared after the latest update. Any thoughts? I am running an iPhone 5S and a Windows 7 PC. I have not updated to iTunes 12.

Hi i had found my twitterrific was Running slowly so I re-installed the app to clear it ever since I am no longer finding my Twitter lists in the side bar options does anyone know how I can restore them The official account on Twitter isn’t very helpful I have tried deleting my account from the app and re-adding it to no success

I've a problem on my new iPhone 6s.
I don't see the new vocalizer voices, i see only Alice (default voice Over voice for Italy) but not the other ones.
It's impossible to download them.

Does anyone know if the MissionClock app is accessible? It's a paid app and I don't see it listed in the App Directory. It keeps track of times/dates for NASA missions and even allows users to set alarms based on them so they can more closely and easily follow them.

I'm new to the forum. I'm working with a friend who is new to OSX and Voiceover. For some reason, even though the setting for reading misspelled words is set to "Speak Attributes", it doesn't. This is in OSX Maverics, using pages for word processing. It doesn't speak the misspelled words in any applications. Default speech verbosity is set to "medium".
Has anyone experienced this before? What other setting could be affecting this setting? Could it be a cursor setting or something else? Any help would be appreciated!

I was doing something with the downloaded PDF image of a plat of the subdivision in which I live that also included real estate related documentation etc. This is a picture of documents that were probably on microfilm at one time. I shared it from Dropbox to recognize with Seeing AI. All the text information came out great with Seeing AI, along with a bunch of lines, and it also summed up well what the PDF was when I asked it to describe the document. In the middle of that, I asked if the document had any colors, then if any characters had color or were all black and white.

I have Hokusai installed, but I do not understand how to do this with voiceover. could someone please give me a step by step guide? what if the vocals are in dropbox? if you hit the open in option, does this just start another track?
