Hi everyone,
I was wondering if the Iphone/iPad version of Minecraft was accessible for someone totally blind to play with voice over? I saw a youtube video of someone totally blind playing it on a PC, so I was wondering about the iPhone app? It is around $10 Canadian so I don't want to pay for it until I know whether or not it is something I can play?
If anyone knows and can help that would be great!

Does it work good with the safari browser on iPhone? Also I will be adding an issue on their github website, asking them to make an iPhone app for mini-gpt-4. Mini-gpt-4 speed and accuracy seems to have been greatly improved on my end, using the website online image describer. It lets me converse with images like be-my-AI does.

I know this really isn't a big deal, but when I go to open Twitterrific, it always tells me I have 1 new item. I've tried everything to find out what that new item could be... gone through tweets, mentions, and messages. Everything's been read, and still, I hear VO say, "One new item." Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi all. I just found out that Mint is shutting down on January 1. You can move to other services or to CreditKarma, but it doesn't have nearly the same features as Mint yet. I can't afford to pay for a budgeting app, at least not much, so I need something free or cheap. I'm looking for one that has features to help you keep track of subscriptions and bills, and allows you to connect your bank accounts so you don't have to add things manually. It would also be great if it has an accessible Web or Windows app. Any suggestions?

This morning over breakfast, my sighted spouse commented that her iPhone weather app displayed the temperature as "minus zero".
This immediately set off my Apple bug radar. The minus sign is used to denote a negative number. Because zero is neither negative nor positive, putting a minus sign in front of it seemed like a software bug. (Yes, as a former engineer, I know computers use many formats for storing negative numbers, such as a sign bit or two's complement. But for displaying decimal numbers, it makes no sense to put a minus sign in front of a zero.)

Hello. I was wondering if anyone knew of an app or other method to mirror one IOS screen to another IOS device directly, like an iPad to an iPad. The reason for this is for a low vision teacher to more easily be able to work with their students. The students would be working on their iPad, but the teacher isn't able to see well enough to read the screen over the student's shoulder. Being able to mirror the student's screen to another iPad would let the teacher use their own screen close-up to follow along with the student.

I have an iPhone XR. I am using iOS 13.3. Since the iOS 13 update my phone has been pronouncing the date 2020 and inserting the word inches after it. My wife has an iPhone XS and it doesn’t do it on that. I haven’t found anyone else yet whose phone does this. Does anyone know how I can cure this problem especially as next year will be 2020, without the inches. It’s going to be really annoying. I’ve experimented with other dates and it doesn’t do it.

Hi,
Having read that custom ringtones were supposed to be available again in the 17.1 update, I was very disappointed to find that mine don't appear to be there even though in files it says they are on my iPhone. I've tried importing them back in to music on my Mac then re-sinking the phone to the Mac but no joy. So I tried air dropping the files over and all this did was to make another copy of the files. I also did a soft re-boot of the phone in case the problem was a caching issue but again nothing.
Does anyone have any more ideas I could try?

Yesterday before I updated to IOS 17 I had Elequence on my iPhone 13 but, after I updated, I do not see it there anymore. Is there a way to get it back? Or could this be a bug? Thanks for any help.

Over the last couple of days, I've discovered the removal of a feature in Blind Square. The last time I used it before yesterday, less than a week ago, there was still a tickbox to enable automatic Foursquare checkins. When I used it again yesterday, the tickbox was gone, and I found nowhere in the app that allows you to contact the app developer to ask if the removal of the tickbox was on purpose or if it's simply a problem with Voiceover not seeing the tickbox and therefore not reading it.

I noticed there is no keyboard command for a double tap and hold toggle. On some buttons like the record button in messages, and whatsapp, you have to double tap, hold, record the message, take your finger off the touch screen. But there is no way to do this with keyboards like orbit reader20 display or, orbit writer. So could all of you write to apple accessibility and request a double tap and hold toggle for keyboards? This may be useful for students who need to record for some reason and want to keep their hands on whatever keyboard they are using.

I remember an operating-system release or two ago that iOS devices had a number next to app icons indicating the app in question had an update. I used to see things like "Settings 1," "App Store 4," etc., or something very similar. I found out this past week that I'm not finding those things present any more because it seemed everybody had their iOS 8.2 update but me. Here I was, waiting for "Settings" to show "1 new item", and it never did.

We have discovered that VO and Siri fail to read several words after the phrase Charles de Gaulle!
This is reproducible on all our iPhones (approx. 12) except for one iPhone 4s.
For example: Charles de Gaulle won't be read. This reads as just 'Charles de Gaulle'.
This probably sounds like a practical joke if you're reading this using VO, but I can assure you it is real.
Has anyone got any other examples of this happening? Or know if a Radar has been filed already?

Hello all.
My fitbit app has recently updated but there are missing tiles. The callories, distance, active minutes and floors have disappeared and the steps tile is an unlabeled button. Every other tile is there apart from the ones mentioned but they are available on the website.
I have upgraded to ios 15 in case that was what the problem was but this hasn’t helped. Has anyone else had this problem? I have contacted fitbit but they aren’t too helpful.

I am at a loss. What do you do when you are missing ring tones from your phone, and they aren't in your library on your PC? They seemed to have disappeared after the latest update. Any thoughts? I am running an iPhone 5S and a Windows 7 PC. I have not updated to iTunes 12.

Hi i had found my twitterrific was Running slowly so I re-installed the app to clear it ever since I am no longer finding my Twitter lists in the side bar options does anyone know how I can restore them The official account on Twitter isn’t very helpful I have tried deleting my account from the app and re-adding it to no success
