Does anyone know of a journal we can use on iOS? Not really looking at A diary or calendar just something for me to write down thoughts and look back on in future
iOS and iPadOS
I have come across an app called JumpSpeak that seems miles better than duolingo, and uses it seems real conversation and audio to walk you through a language; has anyone tried it though? no trial is available? Will
Hi everyone,
We're a couple of indie creators from London, and we have built a simple fitness app that uses AI technology to design personalised video and audio workouts on demand. Jumpy Cat was built out of our frustration with wasting time to search for workouts online. We also wanted to make it minimalist so it can be used as audio workouts only.
Here's a link if you want to skip reading the rest of this post, and just try out the app: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id1519669458
Hi everyone,
My partner and I are both very thankful for all the community feedback we've had in the past few months here on Apple Vis about our indie fitness app Jumpy Cat.

We've been working on new features and improvements, so I wanted to share about what's new and hear your thoughts:
1. The two finger Z gesture to jump back a screen is still broken
2. Two finger double tap gesture to play pause music from any Sonos app screen is still broken with Voiceover
3. Without the use of multiple heading styles per section of any screen on the Sonos app, it’s inefficient, tedious with considerably more cognitive brain load for voiceover navigation of any Sonos app screen. Implementing heading styles for all the different sections beat an iOS app or a webpage is fundamental for accessibility and usability of the Sonos app
Hello Everybody.I'm just curious about something. Is there a way to make your call ringtone come through your headphones and not from your headphones and device's speaker? For example, if I am talking to my mom about something and I get a FaceTime call, I don't want my ringtone blaring through my iPads speaker as well as through my earphones. Is there a way to turn off the speaker part at least while using your headphones? I can see having the alarm clock do that in case you forgot to unplug your earphones before you went to bed, but not every time you get a FaceTime call.
Hello.
I have a lot of blind friends and all of them are using their devices in portrait mode. Just wondering, because many don't like when apps are in landscape mode.
Personally I think that landscape mode works just fine. I am just curious. I seem to be one of few who don't mind landscape mode. Sorry if this is a weird question. :-)
I am currently using landscape mode on Safari on my iPhone.
The imminent introduction of Door Detection has had me reflecting on its forerunner, People Detection.
When that was launched 2 years ago, I briefly tested it. Found it neat. Thought of some situations where something like this could be useful. But, I couldn't imagine being comfortable or secure walking with my iPhone held out in front of me.
That expectation has ben realised.
Despite there being regular times and situations where it would be really useful to know if people were nearby and approaching, I have never, not once, reached for my iPhone.
good morning everyone, it is 4 20 A.M. here so forgive me, I forgot to look first if the same question has been ask... I bought a bran new gold ipod touch, the very latest and right on the front where it say face time and so on, I have never seen this before, there is something call and sorry for my poor English spelling, call health. Wow. I'm like so dumb. I've been using my phone all day and only just now found out about the update? Usually I get an alert... Oh well. Can't wait to see what the new features are!!!!
<Hello.
I just bought an awesome apple keyboard to muy iPad Pro 9.7.

Hey I hope everyone is having a good Christmas :-) I've just got my iPhone 12 mini. But I'm having trouble with the following gestures the gesture to go home the gesture to activate the application switcher and the gesture to unlock the phone. If somebody could help explain these gestures to me, or suggest an alternative method to unlock the phone I would be incredibly grateful :-) thanks for all your help and happy holidays everyone :-)
I saw another discussion thread similar to this but my problem is that the keyboard no longer types at all. So, I installed IOS 9 this morning. Since then, getting into an edit mode in everything (email, messaging, other chat, etc), I cannot type at all. I can bring up the on-screen keyboard and go one letter at a time but keyboard typing is no longer working. I can control the iPhone with the keyboard, however, but no more typing. Any ideas?
OK so everytime I go on this website, all I see is negativity about iOS 13. Yes, there are some bugs that need to be ironed out, but come on people, Apple is doing the best they can, you should all be lucky that Apple even has accessibility in all of their devices. Be greatful for what you have, not what you don't. It's very sad to hear all of the negativity that I'm seeing regarding iOS 13. I'm running the latest iOS build and not experiencing nearly the bugs that are mentioned here. If you went to android, you'd regret it in a minute so stop knocking Apple!!
I'm using an iPhone 8, and just updated to the latest software version. I noticed that things were a little screwed up, so I reset the settings. The phone powered back on, but when I tried to get into voicdOver by pressing the home button three times, nothing happened. I wanted to restart the phone, so I pressed and held the power button to turn it off, but nothing happened. I can tell it's on, but that's about it. Any help would be much appreciated@
Hi Everyone!! Just wanted to tell you all about this new app I am obsessed with!! It's called Blab and I heard about it the other day on Periscope. It's just like Periscope except a group of up to four people can broadcast instead of just the one person. Like Periscope, it's video and audio. I have found lots of interesting content on it. People blab about everything from just hanging out to more serious stuff such as doing podcasts, shows, marketing, social media, education, and panel discussions. It's neat to listen to a whole group of people instead just the one.
Has anyone tried Kardio Mobile with the Iphone? If so does it work well with the Kardio Mobile app? Any further comments will be helpful. I am using Iphone se 2022 with ios 16.2.
On my new iPhone 16 Pro Max, the Karen Australian voice, not the enhanced or premium, but the regular voice, fades in and out when swiping from item to item on my Home Screen. It gets loud and then fades, almost as if the speaker was being covered up. I have Audio Ducking set to off. This doesn't happen if I listen to VO through my AirPods Pro, and it doesn't happen with any other voices, only Karen. The funny thing is that on my old iPhone 14 Pro, this doesn't happen either. The fading in and out is quite slight, but enough to be annoying.
I will be typing away on my ipad ios 9.1 using the onscreen keyboard when suddenly Voiceover says "new line" as if I've hit the return key but I have not. It happens a lot. Any ideas about why this is happening? Its not like typing a wrong character and deleting it. Its a royal pain to fix and get back on track.
