Issue with Voiceover not Reading All Items on Screen

Hello All,

Since updating to IOS15 (and subsequently IOS 15.2), I am having issues with voiceover not reading all items on a screen. .
For example, when on the audible app, voiceover will only read up to 5 items in my library, and will then take me to the top of the screen. It will not read the rest of the titles.
I am UK-based, and also experiencing the same issues with apps such as Tesco Groceries (where all items in the basket will not be read), and ITV Hub (where it will not read all the listed programmes on the screen).
In accessibility settings, the 'speak screen' function is enabled.
I was wondering whether firstly anybody else is experiencing similar issues, and whether this has been flagged with apple?

Thank you,
Saliha

Just check my audible. Got same issue. I believe this is an Audible problem and not voiceover issue. It happen in iOS 15 but stop and just came back. Using 12 pro and iOS 15.2

Hi,
Have you checked that navigation is set to flat? I've seen something similar where the nav setting is set to grouped. This causes weird things like this. Under voiceover settings there is a nav setting that needs to be set to flat for this towork I think.

From my understanding of speak screen it is for those who do not have VoiceOver enabled but want something read out loud for example someone using the magnifier and there vision gets tired so they just want the screen read when they use two fingers and swipe down. I have this setting set to off and VoiceOver on and i am still able to use this feature since it is built into VoiceOver automatically. I do not know if this could have conflictive issues if you have VoiceOver on and this setting on as well. Another thing you can try to look for is screen recognition and make sure it is off for those specific apps if you have it enabled in settings. Other than this and what people posted above it could come down to app issues or iOS scrolling issues. It would be good to report it to apple so at leaste they can rule it out on there end if its on the app side.

Hi, SO I was going to do a separate topic, but as this is similar I'm wondering if anyone else has found this. Regardless of what browser I use, if navigating a site by image or one that has lots of image links, voiceover gets stuck near constantly after updating to IOS 15.2 from 14.8.
