Hi, Ever since I installed one of the Ios 12 betas (I'm not sure which one but it was the one that introduced the notifications not being read on the lock screen bug), my fb notifications aren't being read on the lock screen, though notifications from other apps are read just fine. I'm now running ios 12.1.3 (another beta). I have my facebook set to allow notifications on the lock screen, and I even tried setting up a passcode and touch id. No luck. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Facebook.

Can anyone tell me how to edit who i am receiving notifications from via the Facebook app? I get notifications for things I don't want and cannot figure out how to turn them off. For example, I have a friend who updates their profile picture at least once a day and I don't really need to know everytime that happens. I am trying to figure out where my preferred Notifications setting is. If anyone can assist, that would be fabulous!

I have been using iOS 7 on my iPhone 5 for about a week. Since the first time I used facebook on iOS 7, I couldn't read the content in the notification tab (I'm using the latest version of facebook 6.5).
I thought that it's a bug from facebook app, but actually not all of iOS 7 users experiencing this problem. 2 of my friends who use iPhone 4S can read the content in the notification tab, but my another friends who also using iPhone 4S have the same problem with me.
So, could you tell me what is the causes? And how to fix it?

Recently I haven't been getting any description of photos on my timeline. I was when this feature was first announced. Has anyone else had this happen? I am using an Iphone 5 running latest version of IOS and have recently updated the facebook app. Thank you.

I cannot locate items posted by friends in the newsfeed to like or to comment on when using VoiceOver. I have an iPhone 5 running the latest 6.1 software. Sighted folks see links above friends' names, but the rotor does not move to links. Tapping on friends' names or words in the post such as "CNN" does not bring me to the apprise reference either. What do I need to do?

I have the latest version of Facebook. It's a frustrated bug, and would be fixed right now!!! I'm using iPhone 6 with VO. It's really crazy.. how and why will this happend???

Ever since 2021, I've been mostly using Facebook with Chrome on a Windows computer. It wasn't until 2022 when I finally got Facebook set up on my IPhone SE. However, the notifications are absolutely CRAZY-SILENT!
Literally, I have "Do Not Disturb" completely turned off. In the "Settings" app, I allow all notifications from Facebook. In the Settings menu on the Facebook app, every single notification is turned on. Birthdays, updates from friends, etc etc. Everything.

Has anyone been experiencing the edit field disappearing and reappearing to write a facebook status? It seems to be fine in the morning but as the day goes on into the afternoon, the "write something" edit box goes away and I then have to use Siri to write a status. I'm using an iPhone 6s and iOS 10.3.2 with the latest facebook update. Ideas anyone?

Hey All
I keep seeing people post updates to their "Stories" on Facebook but when tapping on they are rarely accessible. I'm just wondering if anyone has discovered any tricks to making FB stories accessible with VO on IOS? I recall a couple of years ago FB saying they would make them accessible............
Perhaps I'm missing something as I'm not a huge FB user so thought I'd ask if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions.

Facebook tags the wrong person when I reply to another reply in a comment section. This seems to happen if the person I'm replying to has also tagged someone else in their reply. For example, Suzy replies to the main comment. John replies to Suzy, tagging her in his reply. I go to reply to John's comment but instead of Facebook tagging John in my reply, it tags Suzy. I hope this description is clear. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi,
I have just updated the Facebook app to version 6.5 on an iPhone 5 with iOS 7 installed.
I noticed that the button to open the friend request, messages, and notification have been moved to the bottom of the screen, which is not causing any problem at this point.
The actual problem occured when I check my Facebook notification. For a strange reason, VO doesn't read out the notification when I touch them. I have tried the flick gesture, but it doesn't help.

That you already know some of users had written here about that FAcebook 6.5 doesn't work well with VO cuz of it dosn't read under notifications, how many who like or comments something.
My questons to you is if there's some solutions right now if we Blinds can use Facebook 6.5 or if we'll wait or have you tips any functions? Do you agree with me taht Facebook 6.5 and VO dont work well together.
Yesterday I installed Facebook 6.4 instead and it works so good!!!
