Apple today has released iOS 7.0.6 and 6.1.6, bringing security updates for all devices running iOS 6 or iOS 7.
According to Mac Rumors and 9 to 5 Mac, the iOS 7.0.6 and iOS 6.1.6 updates fix an issue with SSL verification.
The update should be available for all users running iOS 6 and iOS 7, and can be downloaded over-the-air.

As blind iPhone users who live in the United States, we really are spoiled, as most of the limited content out their about VoiceOver is directed at us. So when my colleague Jackie Brown at AppleVis wrote a great blog entry that primarily focused on iPhone Sports Apps for those living outside the U.S., my first thought was what about us U.S. sports fans? Apple has today released the final version of OS X 10.9.1.
The Release Notes state that this update includes the following fixes:
- Improved support for Gmail in OS X Mail, and fixes for users with custom Gmail settings
- Improves the reliability of Smart Mailboxes and search in Mail
- Fixes an issue that prevented contact groups from workingā¦

You say potato and I say potato, and yes, I know VoiceOver read both of those the same way, so you will have to imagine the commonly used expression. Being a VoiceOver user on the iPhone and Mac since 2009, I have become very familiar with the word accessibility and the hash tag #A11Y. The interesting thing about both of these terms, is that they mean something different to everyone.

Apple has just released iOS 7.0.3, and mention in the release notes that it includes a fix for the VoiceOver input sensitivity problem.
Also fixed is the problem that caused Siri to use a lower quality voice.

IMPORTANT: we need to stress that as recently as this morning, the Apple Accessibility Team was unable to replicate most of the problems listed below. This could be because there have been changes made to iOS since the Gold Master version which was used by us when testing for problems. It could also simply be operator error on our part, or local and specific problems caused by external factors not related to iOS. This means that it is possible that you will not encounter allā¦
