Apple Releases iOS 7.0.6 and 6.1.6 with Security Updates

By Michael Hansen, 21 February, 2014

Member of the AppleVis Editorial Team

Apple today has released iOS 7.0.6 and 6.1.6, bringing security updates for all devices running iOS 6 or iOS 7. According to Mac Rumors and 9 to 5 Mac, the iOS 7.0.6 and iOS 6.1.6 updates fix an issue with SSL verification. The update should be available for all users running iOS 6 and iOS 7, and can be downloaded over-the-air. As this is reported to be a security update only, we do not expect it to contain any VoiceOver improvements. However, if you do find anything, please do let us know in the comments.
