The automatic switching of Airpods between IPhone and Apple Watch when using Voiceover has never worked as it should and the connection between the Airpods and the Watch could only be decribed as flaky at best. Fortunately, Apple appears to have resolved the problem in IOS 12.1.4 and Watch OS 5.1.3.
I reported this bug to Apple in March 2018 and I though they had decided to ignore me but finally, the bug is gone in the latest versions of IOS and Watch OS.
Once connected to both devices, you can get the Voiceover output from either device simply by touching the screen.
I have voice memos on my Apple Watch for. Following the recent update iOS 14 my recordings done on my watch no longer transfer to my iPhone. I cannot find any settings to change this. Is this a change or A known bug?
Apologies if this has been covered, I'm hoping I'm not the only one experiencing this.
Lately, I have been unable to read my messages on my watch, I go into messages, and its like the watch is stuck on "messages"and won't read either a list or message content. if I'm lucky enough to click and open one, I can read the message but when I go back again, same deal, just "messages"
I bought hack watch a few minutes ago. It downloaded to the phone just fine. I've restarted both phone and watch, saw automatic downloads are off so turned them on for now. i don't see my hack watch in the purchased but I do see it in the iphone purchased section. It's making me nuts because i can't keep playing until I get numbers which aren't shown on my watch because the app isn't on it yet. Help please. Lol thx
So after all this time of saying the Apple Watch is pointless, but then reading some great reviews about it, I finally gave in and bought an Apple Watch sport 42mm series 1. I've had it for about a week and so far, it's not been life changing, but I like it.
I used to have my Apple Watch set to show my activity goals as numbers (not percentages). My watch had to be reset. Since the reset, it's displaying the three "rings" as percentages instead of numbers. I can't figure out how to make it display numbers again.
Hey guys. So got my apple watch yesterday and very very impressed. The accessibility was very well thought out and very intuitive. However the notification centre has got me stumped.
When i tap a notification nothing happens. This also applies to when i swipe down to clear the notification and double tap the notification doesn't clear. Anything i'm missing here? Any help would be awesome or is this a bug.
cheers guys
Well, I went ahead and ordered the Apple Watch Sport with the spiffy white band. They said it would be here by Friday.
I can't wait for the wrist taps and being reminded to move around and such. My husband asked what practical use it might have, and we couldn't think of any legitimate reason to buy one. I bought one anyway. LOL.
Does anyone know if Apple Pay works in Canada yet?
Hello everyone,
I am going to an Apple store this weekend to look at the Apple Watch. I have been thinking of getting myself one. I listened to a podcast on Eyes On Success about the new DOT braille smart watch and now I am reconsidering the apple watch. I know that four braille cells on a watch is not much but this watch is platform independant. What are others thoughts on this issue? To Apple Watch or to DOT watch that is the question.
Following the latest Apple Watch Update I am unable to find the ping feature or the standing statistics. have these disappeared or do i have a faulty upgrade? ?
Is there an app for the Apple Watch that can sound an alarm if my iPhone is beyond a predetermined distance?
For example, I leave my iPhone on my desk and I walk away from it with my Apple Watch on my wrist. After 3 meters or so, my watch bleeps to notify me that I have left my phone behind.
Hello:
I am thinking about getting the Apple Watch, but have a few questions. Do I need to have Bluetooth or WiFi turned on all the time if I only want to use only the time, timer, and alarm clock functions? Most of the time I would not want to receive notifications from the phone. After pairing with the phone will the watch function with Bluetooth off? Also will the step counter, and any apps installed on the watch function when Bluetooth is off?
Hey all. I know I've been kind of against the Apple watch, but i have questions. I have the iPhone six S plus, so you can be sure it will last for awhile. I tried on someone's 42mm watch, and decided for the brief second, it was ok. I didn't like the feel of that sport band at all, so i'll go with that metal mesh band, I can't spell. Lol. One of my biggest questions is how fast is the watch app sore growing? I mean sure, I'll get lyft, uber, probably south west too.
I don’t know why, but as of late, my watch is saying as well subject bar. And it’s really, really, really annoying
The most annoying thing is I’m not even running developa developer software on it
Apple Watch series 8
I’d like to preface this by saying that I consider myself extremely technologically competent. I was formerly an avid PC gamer, I build my own desktops, work in Linux over SSH, and am currently going to school for a computer science degree. I’ve owned multiple Apple products in the past, so this isn’t uncharted territory by any means. So yeah, with a disclaimer like that, I figure I’m a moron or something is actually wrong.
TL;DR I rant a lot and need Apple Watch SE help because I might possibly be an idiot.
