On the evening of Tuesday October 2 2018, there was an apple watch update. I performed the update. I had had my watch for one week and one day with no problems. After that during the morning hours, either once or twice a day, the fall detection feature has gone off. I for the most part have been moving aroudnt e kitchen fixing breakfast or doing some other task. yesterday it went off twice, once at six a.m. (in the kitchen) and 11:09 a.m. quietly sitting on the couch reading a braille magazine. I have been working on this with apple support.

Hi all, I have an Apple Watch 4, and iPhone 12 using iOS 14. When recording on the Apple Watch, the files are supposed to be automatically transferred to the iPhone. However, this doesn’t appear to be happening. Is there a setting somewhere that I have missed to allow this to happen? Worked perfectly when I had iPhone XR.

Hi all, hoping somebody can help me solve this. i got my new apple watch 5 the other day, and one feature i turned on, and rather liked, is the ability for voiceOver to use your siri voice. now the day or so after i got it and set everything up, suddenly, after having the watch on charge all night, it won't use the siri voice. now the interesting thing is, the siri voice it used to start with was the american female one, even though my siri is set normally to australian female.

For some reason I cannot get the drafts app to show up on my watch. I have it installed on my phone but when I go to the watch app I cannot find it in there to install it on the watch. Anyone have some suggestions on what I might try to resolve this?

I heared that it is possible to feel the time with haptic feedback. How does this work in combination with voiceover? If you tap a screen than it speaks the time aloud right? That defeats the purpose of quite feedbac? I am thinking of buying an apple watch so therefore my question. Any other experiences are highly apriciated.

Not sure if this is the most appropriate place to ask this but is there a way to keep voice memos playing on the watch when it locks? I know the lock time is something like 70 seconds but after that the memo stops when it locks. Sometimes I just want to be able to listen to a memo from the watch but it is annoying always having to restart it when it stops so am wondering if there is a setting for continius playback.

Hello, on my Apple Watch SE 1st generation 44 mm GPS I can download all the new English voices, but for Italian, my main language, even though I know there are more voices available, I see only one, so I can't download other voices. Is there any hardware limitation? Thank you.

I am using an Apple Watch 3 and have been swimming with it this summer. I turn Water Lock on when I go into the water and after getting out and dry, I turn the crown to unlock and purge any water. The escalating beeps sound and the watch works. However, sometimes the voice comes back normally. Other times however, the voice quality (and sometimes volume) is significantly degraded, sometimes only for a few minutes and sometimes for several hours. I have tried re-engaging the water lock and then turning the crown, but this doesn't help. Only time seems to solve the problem.

When wearing my Watch under a waterproof jacket, in the rain, the fabric activates the device. It will start talking, and haptic feedback is coming through my wrist. there is no water on the watch, and this happens with several jackets. Is there a way of preventing this? If I'm on a long walk or bike ride and my Watch is talking all the time I'm concerned that the battery will run down too quickly, and that my jacket may activate other functions that I don't want running. Please can anyone recommend fully accessible sleep tracking app for Apple Watch. I can look at the data in the health app of course but I would like something that offer us a little more insight. I would like it to be completely accessible. I tried autosleep but was really disappointed and how disorganized things are. If anyone has any good leads please please mention

I’ve been looking for this for a very long time, but never have found a good accessible app that will do it. Something that will alert me of heart rate zones is not good enough for my use case. I would really like it to actually automatically read out my heart rate at a certain interval.

Hello. I recently found myself in possession of an apple watch, which I like well enough. However, I'm having an unusual problem. There are several apps on my phone that I know have apple watch components, but will not show up on the watch, nor is there an option to put them there. Has anyone else had this happen? most of my apps made the transfer just fine.

I wanted to see what everyone's thoughts on the new appStore for apple watch are. Firstly, I know I've been hoping for something like this for quite sometime now. The watch has become a very capable device and I'm super excited to have the appStore on my wrist. However, there's a problem. I've always been totally blind, which means I do not know how to write print. The watch appStore however, only has scribbling as an authentication method. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think they could use passcode lock or something along those lines?

What are people's experiences of their Apple Watch battery life? So far, my 38mm watch has been exceeding expectations. The headline was about 18 hours. But I'm regularly getting double that, at about 36 hours, and with a very little care, I can get it up to 48 hours.

I have recently received an Apple Watch S4 as a college graduation present. While the watch does have its short comings and limitations I do generally like it. I do however have one annoyance with it. while charging, the screen will wake up constantly and announce the time. I'm usually at home when this happens so its not obnoxious to the people around me but it is driving me crazy. I'm not receiving notifications or anything like that.

For Christmas, I got an Apple Watch. I’m having trouble with dictation in messages on the watch; it seems to only transcribe the first couple of words I say, and not the whole message. When dictating, voice-over makes a sound every few seconds, which I’m not sure whether or not this is affecting things. Could anyone give me some advice/tips/best practice for dictation on the watch? It’s worth noting I’m running watchOS 4.2
