Hey guys. I was trying out dapp lite and was having a weird problem. I could not add another page to my app because the edit button on the project menu for that app was gone, I could only view the page that I had first made. I have tried swiping to try to find it, and exploring my touch. What am I doing wrong? Also, how do you add files to the movie player? I have some files I would like to add, but when I press content it just says files heading and there's nothing there.
Hi I am interested in developing accessible multiplayer games for iOS where sighted and blind people will be included. I installed Xcode on my Mac but I would like to know how can I learn coding as a new beginner? I am interested in learning how to code and make apps. What should be my first step?
Hi,
I am creating an app that requires the use of sound fx. Unfortunately, I do not know where to get royalty free sounds for a reasonable price. Does anyone have recommendations on where to find some?
Hi all. I would like to know is it possible for us to submit apps that we develop to the App Store?
Thank you. Have a nice day.
Hey all. App developer here.
The app I work on has a pretty custom user interface and I'm working on trying to make our VoiceOver situation a lot better for our users, starting with our Mac application. Something I am looking at currently and I have a few questions on preferences of users with regard to certain things and was hoping to get some feedback.
Hi All,
Hereβs I the coding functer again, with a new exciting podcast on making your own 3D audio experience.
This one is simulating a blind comedy show and shows some more advanced concepts on audio manipulation and states.
The article is below:

And here is the direct youtube link:
Hi All,
We've uploaded tutorial 4 of our 3D audio experience series.
This one deals with more advanced audio, including filtering, effects and positioning of those effects nodes. You probably never heard Alex talk like this, but this is the whole point of the tutorial.
The link is available at:
Hi Everyone,
Podcasts 2 and 3 are out, discussing character control in the 3D world and making voice over positional. Both tutorials are accompanied with respective zip files containing all the project and media files to run it on your system.
If you have missed the intro and podcast 1, you can refer to them in the link further down.
You can go to
www.oseyeris.com and click the lab page. There you have the series of podcasts available to learn how to create a fully immersive 3D audio engine.
Hello r/Blind community,
I've been working on an accessible online fashion webshop for the visually impaired, using OpenAIs models for intuitive voice command navigation and detailed audio descriptions. It's designed to offer a seamless shopping experience, but it's still a prototype, meaning you can't make purchases yet.
Quick Tutorial:
Matt Legend Gemmell has written a guide for iOS app developers on how to provide VoiceOver accessibility support for visually impaired users. It includes both technical information and also a discussion on how to approach accessibility, as well as points to be aware of. The guide is here:

Hi all. I have an interesting question for Swift playground on Mac. As a user of a MacBook, I do like messing around on it and find new things every day. But this question is related to Swift playground, an application for prototyping and releasing basic apps onto the App Store, but sometimes they can be vastly advanced. Xcode is the main way to make applications on Mac and submit them to the App Store and prototype them on a real device such as an iPhone or iPad, but Zwift playground on Mac has been brought to my attention.
Good morning (@4:13pm here but nobody cares :) )!
So I was just reviewing a file in VSCode on mac and I've noticed some weird behavior in the editor, but fortunately also found how to overcome it completely.
Trigger:
You pressed cmd down arrow to be at the end of a file and then navigate anywhere normally.
Problematic behaviour:
Hello! I'm an iOS developer and one of the people (Chris) running a free event called CommunityKit in Cupertino during WWDC week.
We are hosting two accessibility events for developers. One is a general accessibility meetup and the other is a workshop for making an app more accessible.
Info about them can be found here.

Hello,
I've created web app called Resample as a personal project. It's an in-browser Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), similar to GarageBand, Ableton, and other DAW software. My goal is to create a music authoring tool that lowers the barrier to entry for anyone curious about music production.
I am busy building a swift app and making it accessible.
I am having trouble with the tabbar voice over selected state.
When clicking on the tabbar item the first time, the voice over focuses on the navigation item, which is perfect, however, when navigating through the app and the user clicks the tabbar item again, the voice over focus remains on the tabbar.
I have already tried UIAccessibilityPostNotification(UIAccessibilityScreenChangedNotification) in the viewDidAppear method of the viewcontroller, but this does not reset the focus to the element I want.
Does anyone here use Jira on web and hate it like I do? Are there accessible alternatives for agile project management? I'd like to create user stories, create and track bugs, pull requests⦠the whole nine yards. Thanks in advance for your well-informed answers.
