This is the first time needing to call a volunteer with be my eyes since be my AI came out. I've notice that when on hold the sound is going through the earpeace instead of the speaker and then when a volunteer comes on it comes out the speaker like normal. Is this normal behavior?

Hello. Has anyone had issue with using the Siri Shortcut to "Call a volunteer with Be My Eyes"? I tried showing it to someone who has an iPhone 14 Plus running the latest iOS 18*** and it says that this is not setup yet with Be My Eyes. But when I try it on my iPhone 14 (not Plus) running the same version of iOS, it works fine.

Hello.
For my own reasons, I needed a be my eyes volunteer that is "not" from the country where I live to help me with something.
So I switched my be my eyes language (both app and in the settings) to language X, which is spoken very far away from me across the world, but in which I'm also extremely fluent.

Hello everyone. I have a question. I wonder if others here have experienced this and what to do about it.

Hi all.
I am a beginner user of ifone.
I was an android user for many years.
I am using an ifone xs 512 gb.

I was wondering if it is possible to transfer some music on to the ifone using google drive or any other cloud service instead of having to use itunes?

Ok I've posted about this before and got little to no help. It might have not been clear what I was trying to explain so let me try step by step. This morning I had fifteen updates available. I triple tapped, flicked and double tapped on "updates". Then I swiped down the screen, hearing, "add money to account," Personalized recommendations, followed by a right arrow. Then I hear available updates, then update all, but it's not a button. If I tap it, I'm put into one of the updates and I can update only one app. I backed out and tried again.

I finally took the plunge and experimented customizing the control center, at first it took a little trouble. I watched some videos and felt that the sighted ones are having so much fun with it and doing all sorts of customizing. I also read some articles and help pages to be able to finally understand how to customize the Control Center.

I am sure you all know how to do it, but if you are not on IOS 18.1.1 you might not be able to do it. So let me start with how my Control Center looks as of now.

Hello,
For storage reasons is it best to delete requests after you're done listening to replys or is keeping them ok? Do they take up much storage?
Thanks

Hi,
I'm wondering what is the best alarm clock radio that runs on iOs and the iPhone 6. I know about "Oootunes", but that doesn't have recurring alarms. Can anyone recommend one? I'm in the U.S., I know some radio apps are limited to radio stations from other countries, but I'd prefer something that also has U.S. stations.

Hi,

While I have no problem using the regular keyboard that comes with iOS, I understand that you can also use third-party keyboards. I was just curious as to which ones are the best to use along with Voiceover? I have Fleksy on my system, including the old version specifically for VO, but have heard there are some issues using it as an alternative keyboard. Is this true?
Also, how do you switch to a different keyboard?

Thanks.

Yours Sincerely,
Kelly Sapergia

Hi everyone. Currently I'm watching the Hockey game between Aneim Ducks and Edmonton Oilers on 63?. I recommend getting the app on your iPhone because they have a great commentary for blind and visually impaired individuals.
Go Oilers Go!!!

What would you recommend as the best app for downloading and listening to podcasts on my iPhone? When I say "the best app", I mean:

1. It can play the widest variety of formats, both video and audio.

2. It has access to the widest selection of content from iTunes as well as other sources, websites, etc.

3. You can set it so that it will automatically delete episodes that I have already played (like the native/Apple Podcasts app.).

I do a lot of vocal recording, but I don't have easy access to recording equipment. Does anyone know of an iPhone ap for serious music production that works great with voiceover? thanks!

I am, of course making an assumption that there are likely several apps that do this as their main function or as one function among many. I am looking for one that is accessible and preferably easy to use. i will be using it on my phone, but the more problematic use will be with another phone I am helping somebody out with. Their phone started going through its battery capacity like crazy sometime in the last two weeks for no apparent reason.

Hello All, I was just wondering what everyone believes is the best application for viewing/editing Msft Word/Excel files on your I-Phone? I'm searching for an app that would allow me to do this without much success. It would be nice to be able to download files from my email/transfer them from drop-box to this application for viewing/editing. I would like to use drop-box to then transfer the files to and from my desktop/labtop computers. It would be helpful if this application also aloud one to print from your I-Phone in addition, but that would be icing on the cake.

Hi!

I'm a singer, though not professional, and like to sing covers with pre-recorded backing tracks, either played by me, downloaded/bought or played by a friend. I was looking for an app that I could use which would let me record my voice over it, with the audio I could then export.

I've attempted to use GarageBand and it worked for a time but recently it's become less accessible for what I wish to do. I have an iPhone 5s running iOS 10.3.2 and I also have a Macbook Air.

If anyone could help me, that'd be great!

There are so many accessible journalling apps nowadays to choose from, and I’m wondering which ones are the best? Ideally I’m looking for one that integrates with ms word, and was actually wondering if anyone had tried ms word and how accessible it was for journalling? Many thanks in advance,
Kez
