iOS and iPadOS

Point blank! the Skype app for IOS is pissing many of us off. Anyone know any devs that would be willing to build us an accessible version? I know we now have access to the API. What are your thoughts!

I know a lot of you probably use foobar2000 on the PC, or have at least heard of this advanced, customizable and accessible media player. I use it on my PC all the time.
Well, now it's on iOS. I haven't tested it yet, but if someone wants to try it and report back, possibly adding it to the directory, LMK.

Hello Apple Vis,
I was wanting to ask if anyone has used Rewardable? It is an app that is similar to many others out there such as Perks line of apps like Perk TV, or Swag Bucks.
Has anyone used the app and not gotten any acorns when doing tasks? I've done several and I had read that it takes some 24 hours to process. yet again nothing has processed. I am not sure if it could be some VoiceOver issues or what it could be. I do know that some of the things that do occur, have some accessibility issues. Such as ads that you would watch for Acorns.

Hi everybody, subject line says it all. Last night when a neighbor and I were going through the workbook section for this morning's Bible-study session, he mentioned this project and he gave me the website. I went to http://www.thebibleproject.com and checked it out, and it seems pretty accessible with VoiceOver. Has anybody used their iOS app and if so, is it accessible too? This project seems to be a companion to Practicing the Way, which I mentioned on here previously.

Hello, I wish to know if someone here in AppleVis has tried the app Bump, the one which allows to share contacts and now also files, between 2 iPhones, just bumping each other physically hitting one iPhone with the other. Now it has dropbox support too, but, I do not know how to figure it out! Once I managed to find a window to share music and photos/videos, but now I do not find it any more, I just find my contact info and a button to edit my personal info too and an "activity" button someone uses it? I did not find it reviewed into iOS apps directory so I suppose it's not well known bye!

Hi,
Last night, I listened to an interview that Jonathan Mosen did, with the developer of Lire, on his "Mosen At Large" podcast.

As a result, I'm considering purchasing the new app.
Before I do, I'd like to know:
• What do I get, with this new app, that I didn't get with the old app?
• If anyone has the new app, what do you think of it, compared to the old app?
• The big question is, "Is it worth the upgrade?"

Has anyone tried the mac version?

Any thoughts there?

Hello,
I downloaded this quiz-making app and it is accessible. It even has text-to-speeh. But for some reason, when pressing on an option, the audio of the phone becomes very soft, like when you are talking on the phone or listening to a voice message and it is speaking. I haven't tried the app with headphones yet, but I find this very annoying. Is there any fix for this?
Thank you.

Hi all. I downloaded Rocket yesterday and absolutely love it. Now if only someone would create an app for the iPhone. It takes so long for me to find the right emoji. I wish Apple would put it in an easier grid. Maybe selecting a page, then A picker item instead of the little grid. If anyone knows of an app, please let me know. Thanks. Whoever is in contact with the developer of Rocket, any chance he's willing to do that? ;) Thanks all.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for an app that will let me send texts from my iPhone via the computer. Is there any such thing out there that is accessible? Thanks

I've just realized OneTap doesn't seem to be available in the US app store. Anyone know of an app similar to it? I tried a few that are completely unaccessible.

I have several things I need to do each day, and was wondering if there was some sort of tool that I could use which would be able to easily create a list of items on my lock screen. What I’m imagining is I would see the time on my Lock Screen followed by this list of items, like a live activity or widget.
Is this possible?

Does anyone know if there's a way to turn off the automatic punctuation with dictation in ios16? Mine keeps putting punctuation where it doesn't belong so I have to go back and edit. It seems to put periods in a middle of a sentence when I don't even pause.

Hi,
I've heard a lot about Apolo, which is an app for accessing reddit.
The app is accessible, except the button that opens the webpage, to allow you to login.
I've just sent the developer an email, and will update this thread, if or when I hear back.

In the meantime, I was wondering if anyone else has used the app, and what they thought, since Dystopia's future is unknown, I'm looking for alternatives, just in case its never able to be released to the public.

Any and all thoughts on Apolo would be greatly appriciated.

I'm looking for an iOS app that allows me to read PDF, ePub, and DOCX files without having them split into pages. I know that Voiceover can be set to move from page to page when I'm using a braille display, but there is interruption when I reach the bottom of each page when using Voice Dream and iBooks, and I don't want that.

I believe we all have found a lot of uses for NVDA remote under Microsoft Windows, to remote a computer from a far. But what if this was taken one step further? to remote a windows computer from an iOS device!
