iOS and iPadOS

So, I am wondering if any of you who have an iPhone 14 Pro have experienced this bug. I personally do not have this phone. But my girlfriend dies. And she is telling me about a bog and she is experiencing with the app switcher. And at first I did not understand how the bug worked. So she showed me her phone. And Essentially if she is on FaceTime, she can’t close any of her apps. I am wondering if this is a voiceover specific bog? Or if it could have something to do with the new dynamic island?

Has anyone noticed that the ability to have your phone favorites in the app switcher seems to have disappeared in IOS 9? I've looked in the Settings app and can't seem to find it. Any ideas as to what's going on? Thanks.

I have the iPhone 12 Mini running ios16.03. Sliding up from the bottom of the screen no longer opens the app switcher. Is there something different now?

Hi Guys has anyone else noticed that when closing apps in the app switcher it loses focus? Not sure when this started but certainly since 10.3.3 if I have a number of open apps and start to close them with a swipe I lose focus and have to tap near the bottom of the screen to get back in to the app switcher. Just wondered if this was just me. Ios 10.3.3 iPhone 6S.

I have the gen 5 running IOS 15.7. I’m having a hard time closing apps. I have to try to open app switcher at least 3 times before the focus is in the right spot. Am I doing something wrong?

Is there a way to go from editing apps in the App Switcher, back to choosing an app to switch to? For example, I'll have a bunch of apps in the switcher. I'll open it by double clicking the Home button. I'll double tap and hold on an app I want to remove from the switcher.

Hi everyone,

I started a few months ago an app-based service that helps make a senior parent living on their own safer. It consists of an app for the older adult to check in on a regular basis, log outings, and has an alert mechanism through Siri. Another app is designed for relatives to keep track of the older adult status and receive alerts if a safety issue is identified.

I am completely blind and am doing a video blog. Problem is that I cannot easily pause and that wouldn’t be sufficient for me to pause and resume. What I need is an app to be able to combine the videos into something, like one video, a story or whatever. So if I have two videos ranging from thirty seconds to two minutes, I want to combine them so I get a longer video that I can put on youtube on my video blog. I am not quite sure if I am explaining this right but I am trying. I want to make videos of me doing something and it wouldn’t be bad if I could also record audio but...

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is an app that works on the iPhone or iPad that allows users to convert .brf files into .txt or other file formats? I have access to the CNIB library here in Canada. A lot of their e-books are in .brf format, and I would like to be able to convert them into .txt or other formats so that I can read them on my iPad and iPhone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Siena.

Hi,

I'd like to be able to have some notes which I could search and which could be protected by a password or touch id on my phone. I know the native notes app could do this in that you can lock a note and there is a "search" feature but when I search, Voiceover doesn't get put onto the search result as far as I can tell. So I have to read through the whole load of text to find things I want. Has anyone any recommendations for an app enabling me to search and password-protect some text?

Hi everyone, hope you’re doing well and staying safe. I’m looking for an iOS app to help me navigate a large apartment complex. it would be useful if the app had a feature where you could mark certain locations around the complex for example swimming pool and then you could use the app to navigate them. Does such an app exist please? thank you for your help everyone and thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Is there an app to identify all of those plastic and paper cards that we carry? I took pictures with KNFB Reader and PrismoGo to identify my credit card, but the results were unusable.

Does anyone know whether there is an app that can help blind people identify images on the web or in other apps such as those that people tweet out or put on Facebook?

okay I have seen a number of apps out there, but all of them seem to need music to be used. I need an app for my IPhone four S, that I can use to measure the miles I walk or run, but I don't want to put a lot of music on my phone because it's an eight GB phone. does anyone have any ideas of what app I can use? preferably cheap or free? thanks!

Hello.
I am recording using Just press record.
I have many inspirational recordings on there.
Is there a way, in iOs, to be able to play and maybe shuffle all recordings in the entire folder?

Are there any accessible iOS apps that will allow one to post to multiple socials at once such as to Facebook and Twitter?

Hi there
SO getting back into the iOS world now and slowly trying to get modern recommendations for apps. I haven't used this as my main phone for years, so expect a few questions going forward similar to this one.

So, on the web reader, a lot of books have page numbers, but when reading with voicedream, for example, the page numbers are not there. I like having the page numbers because they give me a sense of how much I am reading. So, is there an app that shows the page numbers? I would just use the web reader on the browser for iPhone, but I lose focus every time I stop reading.
