iOS and iPadOS

Hi all, A very frustrating problem of IOS is the fact that when you move the phone away from your ear whilst talking, the speaker is automatically activated. This does not work properly at the best of times and mostly just switches back and forth between the ear peace and the speaker. I have not yet found a way to disable this, but is there a way to do it through jailbreaking? Has anyone ever contacted apple accessibility regarding this? Last time I remember sending an email about this, I was sent the normal auto-responder email.

Hi all,
The question is what it says. I've clipped the audio, I've converted it to m4r and saved it in the files app. Is there anyway to get the iPhone to recognize it without iTunes or garage band, neither of which I have? I have a windows PC so can't airdrop.
Thanks
I tried replying from safari, but i get an error everytime i hit the post button.
So is there a way to reply from the youtube app? Or maybe another accessable youtube app?
I'm using ios6 on iTouch 5. Thanx in advance!
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone else is having Bard issues? The Bard app says connection in progress but eventually times out with an error “Connection lost.” Then trying to access their website, Bard main page, it does not come up.
Anyone else?
Thanks,
I'm using safari with voiceover on the latest version of IOS, and am coming across what seems to be a bug when looking at my tabs list. Sometimes a double tap will close a tab instead of selecting it, even when I've flicked up and down to make sure it's on activate instead of close. It doesn't seem to be consistant, sometimes it works perfectly but seems more often not.
Does this happen to anyone else? Is there something I'm not doing that I should be? It's slightly frustrating when it does happen!
I was pretty excited to try Point and Speak on things like microwaves, or even a line of text on a paper. I just can't figure out how to do it. I point, but it just seems to read random stuff.
Is anyone successfully using this?
I was searching the App Store for the paid version of the AHD, and I found an AHD Medical Dictionary. Does anyone know whether this APP is accessible as is the AHD?
Hi.
I'm taking a math class and we work with fractions.
I was able to use my BrailleNote apex with fractions until now.
I had some fractions with decimals in them and tried using my BrailleNote apex to help me figure them out. When i tried entering in the fraction for example 0.44 over 2.5 my BrailleNote apex just gave me an error tone so I couldn't go further then that.
Does anybody know of a calculator for the iPhone and iPad that can help?
Hi all,
This new iPad app lets you create, view and edit Microsoft Office files via the cloud.
Unfortunately it's not available here in the UK, so I was wondering if anybody has tried it yet?
I have very low expectations about its accessiblity, but just maybe it will surprise me.
Here's the link to CloudOn in the App Store
And here's the description:
For the first time you can get Microsoft Office® on your iPad. Seriously.
I have my doubts that it will be accessible, but one can hope. I just picked up one of their new carbon composite and carbon fiber electrics, so I'm hoping the app will at least let me load settings. If nobody's used it I'll do a review, possibly a podcast if you can do anything with it, when it shows up.
Has anybody tried the new Google Currents app yet?
It sounds interesting, but isn't available here in the UK.
Considering Google's track record on accessibility, I don't have great hopes, but maybe they will prove me wrong this time.
Here's the description of the app:
Google Currents delivers beautiful magazine-like editions to your tablet and smartphone for high speed offline reading. Editions are all free and include:
Hi everyone!
On the Windows platform, there's a free software called Balabolka, which uses the voices on board the system, and can convert and make audio files. And, best of all, it's free.
Now, I would also like this kind of service on iOS. Is there a similar kind of app that would do this magic? I use the files just for my own listening, and also for offline use on my MP3 player (so, in short, I like the files to away from the iPhone).
I'm seeking some app recommendations, if any!
Many thanks!
David
Good morning. I've had my iPhone 13 pro for a few days now, and am slowly but surely beginning to make friends with it. I have a major problem, though. There are numerous occasions when I'm simply trying to swipe through items or perform a single finger double tap to select something, and my phone interprets it as the magic tap and just randomly starts playing music. If it was an occasional thing, I'd be OK with it, but it seems to happen more often than not. If I'm here at home by myself, it's annoying but not a huge deal.
Hey all. More just looking to see if I'm not alone in dealing what I'm dealing with. I have yet to go to Apple about this, because I'm worried I can't replicate the issue in front of an employee there.
Hi all!
I updated to the latest ios., and am running the latest version of Braigo. I was using it yesterday without a hitch. Now, when I tried reading a meme with it, it let me upload it, but when I tried opening it, I got an alert saying: internal server error java lang null point exception.
I tried 2 different photos & got the same result. I used another app, & the photo was read smoothly.
Ever since a few IOS updates back, I, as well as another VIP, have had issues with Spotify jumping around. When we click on the app, it's fine. When we click where the song is listed so we can open the player controls and add to playlists, it will jump, usually, to the previous track, or, sometimes, back several, if the music is on shuffle. I've tried rdownloading the app, resetting the phone, and nothing is working. I was wondering if anyone else has had any issues with this or knows of any work arounds.
Is anyone else having issues with the vesync app? My air fryer is no longer showing on the home screen. When I double tap my devices it does nothing and when I click on manage it brings my devices up but it doesn't actually display the options I need to operate the device. It's a good thing that I can use alexa on my air fryer or else it would have became a big expensive device taking up space.
