Hi,
I work on the development of Audiofy - an iOS app that can read articles you find online. I would love to hear your input on how it could be improved and made more accessible. It would also be great if some kind sould would be willing to discuss these issues over skype. If you're up for that, I am available at your convenience. If not, any written feedback would also be greatly appreciated.
Hi all,
Hope someone can help us. We have an app and currently trying to understand Colour Blind users' preferences in order to bring a comfortable experience to other platforms.
Apart from Colour Filters in your iOS Settings, what other settings would you usually turn on in combination?
E.g:
- Invert Colours
- Reduce White Point
- Darken Colours
etc.
Thank you in advanced,
Terenze
Hi. Now that FlickType no longer works, I'm looking for something similar, something that will allow me to type faster without having to drag-and-lift as I do on the conventional IOS kbd. Can anybody help?
Hello,
Can anyone recommend a GPS app that will work well on a college campus primarily made up of winding, off-street sidewalks? I would like something with functionality similar to wha tis being advertised in the trekker Breeze Plus where accurate pins can be dropped easily along a route and at various landmarks such as building entrances. Has anyone used something for this or a similar purpose that they would recommend? Thanks!
Jana
Hello readers. This is my first time posting on the Applevis forum. Let me just get to the point of me writing this article. I am looking for some health and fitness apps for the iPhone. I am looking for them, because I am gaining weight. My goal is to but
in shape. tz
Setting up my new phone, I came across Pronounciation settings within Accessability/Voice over/Speech. I would really like to know how to set this up as I have some regular names that annoyingly always come out wrong when I'm using dictation and aren't showing up in predictive text. Any step by step guidelines would be really helpful. thanks. Debbie
I need urgent help!!! Could someone please send me a link to either a written or audio guide to the iPhone X? I had the SE but I'm really questioning the move to the X. Hopefully there will be a podcast that will help me understand the problems I am having. Thanks so much.
Hello I was wondering if the app dropvox is accessible with voiceover? I'm asking this because I've been trying to post podcast on Apple viz but I just have no luck doing this podcast I was wondering if someone could do a video to describe this application Thanks :)
I am trying to use Talking Tuner to tune a harp. It is a very live instrument, and I think the tuner is picking up the harmonics when I pluck a string. The tuner is all over the place, way sharp, way flat, a little flat, ... despite my attempts to damp the other strings than the one I'm trying to tune.
Does anyone know how to make Talking Tuner less sensitive, or is there another accessible tuner that might behave better?
Thanks.
Hi everyone, I'm the creator of the original Fleksy app.
Is there enough interest from the community for a revived version of the app? This would be what eventually became the unfortunately-named "Fleksy VO" app, which was later removed from the App Store for reasons I can elaborate in a separate post.
I would start from the code that was open-sourced a while ago, and release it for free. If I move forward with this, it would be a personal effort under a different name due to trademark issues with Fleksy the company.
What do you all think?
Hi,
I'm looking for a mail app which doesn't cache messages locally like the native apple mail app does (it's almost a gb of stuff, which I think is stupid!), and also looking for a mail app which won't keep refreshing, even in low power mode, like the gmail app is doing.
I just have a gmail account, so I don't necessarily need it to work with multiple accounts, as long as I can select multiple messages, move them around, send, and reply to emails, I'm good.
Thanks,
I was listening to a tutorial on wireless networking and the instructor mentioned that there were tools for exploring the wireless networks available from my location, specifically displaying the strength and channel of the network.
I'm experiencing frustrating network crashes, sometimes multiple times a day, and I'm wondering if it's due to interference -- I do live in an apartment complex. I'd like to see what channels the nearby networks are using so I could possibly minimize interference from the closest ones.
Iβm curious, what music app (file based preferably), do you like for offline music on iOS? I know Iβm picky, but crossfade and playlist support are absolute musts for me. And the ability to search all folders is preferred, :) Files based is easier, because syncing, whether it be through iMazing, or music, just takes too long. Plus, I have almost 80 gb of music, so Iβd rather transfer via files on a USB c flash drive. Thanks
Hi there.
I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I am looking at two different apps for ad blocking.
Wipr and Ad Guard Pro. I am a Mac and iPhone user. Which would you say is better, easy to use and change settings etc?
I am not particularly techy if i'm honest so, something simple that is eassy to use and does the job would be preferable.
I would like to use one app for both iOS and Mac if possible. However I do appreciate that this might not be possible.
Advice, thoughts and opinions welcome.
Thanks
LIam
I'm legally sighted, but switching between close and far vision takes some time. I'm not an adept Voiceover user, so I need to have a visual UI to interact.
This ideal navigation app would:
1. Let me plan a trip in advance. (Accepts my input for both start and end destination, instead of planning from "here.")
2. Provide audible as well as visual prompts
3. Include travel outside the road network (using bike paths and mid-block sidewalks)
4. Alert me when I'm headed in the wrong direction
Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum and posting on behalf of a friend, apologies if I've put this in the wrong area!
