iOS and iPadOS

Hi, I'm looking for a simple app that can play audio books directly from dropbox. It has to have a bookmark feature and be able to play multiple files as a single audio book.

I would prefer it if it could play both MP3 and M4b formats. I am listening to public audio books so there's no DRM protection.

Any suggestions?

I've noticed that play buttons on websites and things have disappeared. I'm using ios 8.4. It just says "media caption" but no play button. The only vidios that work are on facebook. Any ideas where the play buttons have gone?

Hi all!
Below is my email to Apple regarding possible minor overhaul to the way we use and interact with playback slider.
I'll be so much glad if you share your opinion in this topic below, and even more so in the case my request will be supported by other emails to accessibility@apple.com .
Here’s mine.

Hi all!
I have a video file with music that I would like to play on repeat, even offline if it exists.
It is a lullaby called Banana Tree and I would like it on repeat when I want to sleep.
This piece always made me fall asleep.
I do not have a computer, so it will have to be in iOs.

Hi. I know we can play a song in dropbox on the iphone. But is there a way to play all songs in a folder? I tried the select button, but there's no option to play all. If this is something impossible, is there any other accessible app for this? I tried voicedream, but again, it can play a song at a time. Thanks in advance for any help.

I've been with Spotify almost 3 years, and something I've not seen is the ability to start playing an album, or Playlist from the beginning like you see in Deezer, or the Apple Music app; you usually have a button among the Context menu options, that says "Play" or "Start Playing" without having to flick through the album or playlist tracks, until you can get to the first track of the list, in which via double-tapping it starts playing, bringing you to the Now_Playing screen, like you do on Spotify.

Hey all. Just curious if anyones found a way to play audio messages with Snapchat and Voiceover? I'm on iOS 13.2 beta 3, latest version of Snapchat etc. On Android there's literally just a button to hit play. Here if I tap the message it just saves it.

Hello,

I am looking for an app that allows a person to play an audiobook at a faster speed.  I do not like to read at regular speed and find this to be very vexing.  If anyone can tell me of a free, or nearly free,  app that can do this, that would be awesome.

Hi everyone, So my Victor Reader Stream from Humanware has pretty much given up the ghost. This is not nearly so bad as once it could have been. I use my iPhone for almost everything the Stream used to do, such as listening to Audible content, for example. But the one thing I really liked about it was its ability to play audiobooks made up of multiple MP3 files. Provided the files are in the same folder on the SD card the stream makes this process seamless. Before I consider replacing my Stream, I wondered whether there's any way of doing the same on the iPhone?

Hi all!

I have the My Twit app on my ipad, and I love it. But, I'm having a issue playing the 1st episode of a show.
For example, if I want to play a Security Now show, I'd click on it, and it won't play.
Here's an example:

Eppisode 576 Never a dull moment
Then I swipe down and it says last updated Aug. 29th
and has more eppisodes, which I can click on and play just fine.

Hi all, I am back with yet another question, because I am full of questions like a pomegranate is full of pips. Supposedly. I've never even seen one, let alone knowing how many pips one has. Anyway, on with the madness.

Hi,

I use Viber to chat with my family, but since recently, when someone sends me video, I can't open it just by double tapping on it, but I rather have to get sighted assistance, because there's apparently an arrow that you need to interact with in order to view the media.
Is there any way to do this with voiceover?
Any help would be appreciated.

Since I updated to 13.1.2 last week I have not been able to stop videos playing after watching them on Twitterific. Prior to updating I could watch a video and then either click on “Close” or do a two-finger double tap which would stop the video playing and take me back to my timeline. Now, when I click on “Close” the I return to my timeline but the audio from the video continues to play. When I do the two-finger double tap the video does not stop but the page for me to create a tweet opens!

Is there any way or are there any accessible apps out there that will allow me to play Windows Media audio files on my iDevices? Is there a way to play such files using some remote desktop app?

I was listening to a video tutorial on YouTube the other day using my Airpods. Since I can't see the sdcreen, I wasn't interested in the video, just the audio.

So I locked my iPhone and put it in my pocket so that I could wander around while listening.

Unfortunately, as soon as I locked the phone, YouTube stopped playing. I can understand why this might be a reasonable behavior since most people want to see the video and, if the screen is locked, then the video wouldn't be shown. But I was only interested in the audio.
