Hello. I am a big fan of recording stuff and would like to create a podcast or audio blog. I don't have a computer. Is there an app to upload or record such things? I can record using my voice memos app if nesessary.

Hello,
I want to record a podcast to submit to applevis. As I have no microphone on my conputer right now, I was thinking in recording it from my own iphone. However, smart recorder * the software I am using * sends the voiceover speech to the headset or to the phone speaker instead of letting it on the normal speaker.
Of course this isnt the desired behavior as I need to record the voiceover speech together with my own voice, so I need a recorder that does not mute voiceover nor sends its speech to the headsets. Can you recomend me such an app?

three years ago, podcasting was easy. I just use a service called audioBoom. I know much do you remember it well… The folks at audio boom were generous enough to give me a channel… I could post an unlimited number of podcast up to two hours in length. I love this, and my podcast, hones2 God gave the great following… I have almost 3000 lessons on my channel… But there's a problem. Every time I launch the app nowadays, it crashes, or says there's a server error… It seems audiobook on is dying… So I'm looking for a new way to podcast.

having done this, i had to ring apple support for further guidance.
thomas, when you are making a pod cast, could you please include the version of ios and the model of phone being used please?

Ok, since ios7 i've been forced to use apple's podcast app, and I've got a question. I now have all my podcasts in the podcast app and they're auto updating. So, can i unsubscribe and delete these podcasts in itunes? Thanks!

Hi all. I'm having a couple of issues with the personalized recommendations in the native Podcasts app on my iPhone SE 2020.
First issue. How to clear personalized recommendations? On the Listen Now tab, there is a heading labeled You Might Like, Based on Your Listening. Unfortunately, the list of recommendations is pretty low quality. Whether I listened to an entire podcast because I loved it, or only a couple of minutes because it was boring, doesn't seem to matter. Something similar ends up on the personalized recommendation list.

So I downloaded the Apple Podcast app again yesterday, after not using it for awhile, and noticed that you now have to download the podcast versese just streaming it to the phone. I thought at one time, you could stream them instead of downloading them, was I wrong here?

Are there any podcasts that go through step by step how to set up and use e-mail on an IOS device?
In case it matters I have a road runner and a gmail address, and I probably would only want to get my road runner mail through the phone for now but I eventually would probably want to add my gmail account later on.

I see that Polaris Office, an app for viewing and editing MS Office documents, is on sale for $7.99. Has anyone tried this? Reviews complain about not being able to use arrow keys to move while editing. Other reviewers say the app's response is sometimes slow. Still, I'd love an accessible way to edit Word and Excel documents on my iPhone.

I have two issues I was hoping someone could help me with. I go to certain web sites that have popup lists, which I shall assume everyone is familiar with. I double tap on it to bring up the list, but when I flick up or down to go through the list, every time I land on a new item in the list, it is automatically selected before I can hit the "done" button or flick to the next item if that's not the one I want. I hope this makes sense.
Also, does anyone know how to shut Voiceover up when you get a phone call?

How do I get to the tv shows in the popcorn flix app? It does not seem very accessible, even though the apps section of this site says it is. Has the app changed and lost its accessibility?

Hi. I'm running IOS 7.01 on a 5S. Popup buttons are not behaving properly, either within one particular app and on Safari. When I double tap the popup button to enter my credit card info, for instance, or to select a category on the BARD website, I cannot advance or go beyond the next or earlier item in the popup. So, in the expiration date, I'm only able to advance to February when starting with January, and only to the second category in a list.

Hi all,
Ever since installing IOS 14 on my iPhone 7 I'm continually getting popups in at least 3 of my apps as I swipe through them. From what voiceover is telling me it sounds like pictures are popping up based on what I'm highlighted on at the time but is there a way to get rid of that? I waited until 14.0.1 to upgrade hoping that at least some of the bugs from the original release would be gone, and this is the only what I'd call a bug that I've noticed but it's quite annoying. I even installed 14.1 last night and the popups are still there.

On my IOS 6.11 Iphone 5, Is there any way of removing the Voiceover message 'screen dimmed', which is the needless extra interruption to any podcast playback/music listening experience?
Unless you turn VO off before any listening, I accept you get the 'screen locked' message, but the screen dimmed message does seem pointless to VI users, especially as the message is still given even when the curtain is closed.
I've tried turning the brightness down to zero as well, and the dimming message is still given, so it functionally seems needless as well since it can't truly be dimming the screen if

Have you guys been deling with the annoying but not showstopping bug where if you tap on an app you have in icloud it'll say 4 Ex: Kindle in Icloud
I noticed to that it doesn't tell me if it off-loaded it or not. It won't say reinstall app. but it keeps making me think it's loading the app but it's not... that I know of lol

Thought I'd post a possible bug here and wondering if anyone has experienced this. What reminded me of it is the comment about audio messages posted in the IOS16 accessibility bug blog post. I'm not big on audio messaging but I have a friend who prefers sending me texts in audio format do to his disability so I accomodate. I've been having this annoying issue since ios15.
